Skill XP per Hour

Arcane_Rift

Recommended Posts

Has anyone tracked the max XP per hour for each skill? For example fletching I think stringing, not carving, but just stringing magic longbows would be the fastest XP possible. However, maybe applying runetips to arrows might be faster? Cost is not a factor, I'm just looking for the most effective way of gaining XP in each skill.

I think if we have accurate detailed information it could assist people in reaching the 99 goal much easier.

Im pretty sure that i dont have a list of this but...

Im pretty sure that a 94 Cook with cooking guantlets cooking sharks would be good competition for the most exp per hour :wink: just depends on the fletcher if he would be his exp per hour or not :lol:

True. It will fluctuate per level too. Would be nice to get a rough idea of some fastest training methods though.

Attack, strength, defence, hits and maybe mage = pest control

Prayer = have bones in advance and use gilded altar with runners.

Ranged = Pest control OR cannon + arrows/knives at dagannoths

Runecrafting = Death crafting with constant runners

Mining = Iron?

Smithing = make best plates

Herblore = make best potions (Just adding 2nds)

Thieving = Pyramid Plunder

Crafting = Craft best bodies possible?

Fletching = Attach rune arrow heads

Construction = Making the most "expensive" item possible. Mahogany table I believe is best for this other than uber expensive stuff.

Farming = Plant trees, do all patches.

Hunter = No idea

Woodcutting = Willows?

Firemaking = burn Magics

Fishing = Monks or Fly fishing

Cooking = Sharks or cooking summer pies (Already put together, just need cooking)

prayer = worshipping the ecto is faster then altar (not including getting slime and bonegrinding

mining = granite

hunter = red chimpchompas

the rest should be right I think

You need waterskins now, so it's probably iron.

Na just messing, but ya dark dude pretty much sumed it all up there...fastest exp per hour possible is usually based on already having gathered many many hours worth of stuff ahead of time which that in its own right doesnt mean its the fastest lvling...

Otherwise we all would have already done it :wink:

Fastest exp per hour doesnt always mean best exp per hour

This sounds like a contradiction. What do you mean?

:lol: What i meant was fastest exp per hour doesnt always mean that thats the best exp(period).

Dont know why i said what i really said though...but...

For example...

I think we said that the fastest exp per hour possible for cooking would be to cook summer pies that have already been premade.

Using this above situation regardless of the money cost involved you will hardly be able to find any sellers for these ingredients needed to make it...so if your forced to gather your own...say that takes you an hour at the minimum.

I think these pies are made for 350exp each? if so then spending an hour getting the supplys for an hour cooking them yeilds 0 exp in 1 hour and then the amazing 350(times amount cooked) exp that hour.

Yet if you just bought a poo load of sharks and spent 2 hours cooking those yielding 210(times amount cooked) exp for two hours time then you would in the long run have benifited more from the sharks :wink:

Sorry for misleading you. :wink:

for cooking i'd say summer pies with the cook pie spell from lunar magics, 100% cook rate and a whole inventory( about 26 since you need runes) cooked in 2 seconds.

:lol: :roll:

Just becauase it says that you can cook a whole inventory of pies doesnt mean that it still doesnt cook them one at a time.

So i think that would take a tad bit over 2 seconds for the full load :wink:

However with the proper rune supply this is faster then using a stove

Yes efficiency in getting raw materials will always factor into how you will train a specific skill. Technically pies would be the fastest xp IF they were pre-prepared and ready to be cooked, however, as you mentioned, attaining these pies from someone would be near impossible due to the time it would take to acquire all the materials.

So the short answer is, technically summer pies, but due to low amounts of preped pies and higher amounts of raw sharks, sharks would be the more logical answer.

Fastest ways to train skills realistically..coming from me :)

Attack, Defence, Strength, HP, Range = Pest Control *

Magic = Pest Control (or superheating)

Prayer = D bones at guilded alter

Cooking = Sharks with cooking gaunts

WC = Draynor Willows

Fletching = Stringing magics

Fishing = Fly fishing in shilo

Firemaking = Yews

Crafting = Blue bodies

Smithing = Steel plates or superheating gold with smith gaunts

Mining = Was granite when I played, but now iron under lumby castle (asuming u DO need waterskins)

Herblore = Range pots

Agility = Ape atoll (or wilderness for some fun too :lol: )

Theiving = Pyramid

Slayer = Lost city slayer master (14-15k per hour if using cannon)

Farming = Magics, calquats, palms

Runecraft = Hire nature runners

Hunter = Haven't played since its been in game

Construction = Oak larders with oak planks

* Training combat stats are most time-effective if only training them while slaying

Although the question says "cost doesn't matter", some of the ideas wouldnt be possible even if u had unlimited money to spend..so yeah..these are the methods I used..

i bought and burned 2k mages like i said they are hard to find in large numbers.. They were actually my 1st choice for 99 fm but i had to go with yews simply bc i could buy all the logs i needed from one person and i could get goin faster
