Hi there, just want some advice from people who have tried training range with Chinchompas.

Are they really an effective and quick way of training range?

Where do you do it at, multi i guess?

Any pictureS?

Thanks all

Matt.

I believe chim's do splash damage, and he'd more be aiming to toss the lil buggers into a big cluster of enemies at a stuck PC portal.

I dunno if I'd do daggies with chins.

For chins, you'll want to have a bit of range bonus.

You'll likely take a bit more damage in range armor, as with a cannon, it's fine in rune armor.

i dont know if anybody tried this one but

here's my idea

go to a house party or your house and invite some friends like 5 or more depending on how many a chompas can hit in a multi area

so you and all your friends go to the combat ring in the house

you stand in the middle and let your friends stand around you

start hitting in a way that hits them all

when they die let them come again over and over

this is a good and fast exp

PS:your friends should be with no clothes so that you make more damage easily

you can also use this method with ancients like the ice rush or barrage

True, this is good but...

In the long run, rather than making a bad PC world better.... It likely be faster to just find a good PC world and get point. :P

but if it's like 90 or 100+ world then most of the portals are destroyed before a big group can come out, with a 50-100lvl world it takes longer to kill portals so a lot of enemys are everywhere.

range zombie monkeys in the dungeon on ape atoll

you have to use protect though

^^ What he said. With red chimps at zombie monkeys you can easily get 140k range exp per hour. Uses around 900 chimps, it is an expensive hobby (unless you catch em yourself!)

140k per hour is a whole heap faster than what you could get at PC.

If you're going upstairs to pray every time your Prayer runs out, it almost defeats the purpose of leaving Pest Control and going to Ape Atoll.

You only get the 200K XP/Hour if you stand there and keep attacking, potting yourself back up whenever you get low.

If you're only going to be getting 100K XP/Hour, or less, by running to the temple to pray, I would say just stay at Pest Control in World 78. No actual danger and nothing to risk for pretty much the same XP/Hour (to say nothing of the XP bonus after 100 points).

Wont work, you only get a fraction of the exp you would usually get.

Currently not active on RuneScape.
