Zaaps, fix your spacing in this guide. After the conversion, it looks so spaced out and kind of messed up... :???:

Yes there are a few technical problems with it now, I'll see what I can do.

Pwnt the spacing issue and added a few random changes, such as Xp figures and out-of-date info.

Have you gotten a battlestaff drop from them?

Due to the Constitution update, I think the exp per hour needs to be changed a bit.

It says something about you get more exp depending on the monsters' combat level.

I might've missed that, can you tell me where?

I might've missed that, can you tell me where?

Because everything is multiplied by 10, PLUS the fact that it shows the exact damage points (not rounded down whatsoever).

Here's an example:

Before updates: you deal 10 damage.

After updates: this 10 damage multiplies by 10, and can be anywhere between 100 and 109.

Therefore, resulting in slightly more exp per hour. Sure, you get damaged more, but offense over defense in every way when training. (Unless you train defense a lot.)

And news article plus developers' blog.

Not sure about the new exp formula.

I imagine that nothing has changed as far as XP per hour goes.

Before, you hit decimal damage, so if you saw a 10, it might actually have been a 10.3. And as far as I know, the xp you gained as based on that decimal number. So as of now, the xp rate holds to be the same, or changes extremely little.

Still, a change is a change, no matter how little the change was.

I'm guessing that each "decimal" place is worth 0.4 exp points.

And food also heals 10x now.

Right, I'll do the change when I get the chance then.

This is a really good guide, I'll use this to power level all my combat skills, starting with defence to avoid the waste of food and be able to train more, and then the rest of the skills. Once again, a really good guide.

Umm, I saw you say this in the Shared XP thread:

Controlled is BEST. It is FAR superior than training each stat individually.

Does this apply to F2P as well (rune longsword), or no?

It does not. The whole idea in p2p is that you won't need to use an inferior weapom (d scim or SS) to a superior weapon (whip). But in f2p, the best weapon (r scimmy) already trains all the stats.

Hmm, I see. Thanks for clearing it out!

Isn't Controlled worst seeing as having all balanced stats at 91 would have trained more than getting 91 attack first 91 str second and 91 def last because they affect your xp rates (faster xp at 91 attack than 90)

Noobs: We pay we say

JaGeX: How much will you pay?

They affect your rates far less then switching your weapon would.

But that's only in P2P.

Is the maple longbow (sight) better training than the maple shortbow?

This is something I've been wondering since Dungeoneering's release.

Also, the arcane necklaces can be added on the lists.

I would assume so, the speed loss is quite forgettable, seeing as the Maple Longbow(sighted) is more accurate than a Crystal Bow (Crystal has +100 bonus, MLS sits at 110.)

yeah but how many people are going to have enough patience to play dung till they get it? and then again to recharge it, which will take you a while.

better and easier to just stick with the maple short imo
