I thougt you didnt have to recharge sighted bows?

You don't have to recharge a Longbow sight.

 

You can take it on and off as many times as you want.

 

Just throwing this in there (so sorry if you mentioned it already):

 

Adding the longbow sight onto the maple or magic longbows will increase it's attack speed, and as a result will attack at the same speed as scimitars when on "rapid", which is also the same speed as using "accurate" on a shortbow.

Is the maple longbow (sight) better training than the maple shortbow?

 

I would assume so, the speed loss is quite forgettable, seeing as the Maple Longbow(sighted) is more accurate than a Crystal Bow (Crystal has +100 bonus, MLS sits at 110.)

 

The shortbow is better for training than even the sighted longbow. Why?

 

The fact is, if you need the accuracy of the sight in the first place, that monster's defense is high, and you really probably shouldn't be training on it. The sight may be better while drop hunting, such as against cockroach soldiers or greater demons, but overall the shortbow is still the superior training weapon, even, I think, for ankous.

Good guide. Just if u r training in 4th floor, u need to know that shadow gives u only 1/4 xp so i dont recommend training on shadows.

Well it's not a recommended location to train, so it's not an issue.

You should note, serious combat training should only be considered if your combat level is over 90 (except if you're a hardcore teamer).

 

Before then, all combat (from 40 all) should be done dungeoneering.

Are you sure ankous drop addy arrows in f2p?

Aye, I've been trying to look for an EoC guide for F2P.

Does the safespots still work in EOC?

I don't think anything safespot-related got changed, but you can't use AoE abilities if you want to stay safe, probably.

What is AOE?

Area of Effect, hits multiple targets, so you will be attacked by more monsters.

Quite helpful for someone new; like me :)
