azielgoh Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 Just a few minutes ago, I was supposed to be studying, but I was doing barrows (my mom was going to the cleaners). It's kind of ridiculous how much she tries to control a sophomore kid. Well, I was on torag in the tunnel when I heard the garage door open (great...), and of course, she gets in the house and comes running upstairs to make sure I'm working. As she runs up the stairs, I run to the chest, open it, click on the chest, madly click a random place on my spell list, and X out the window. I came back expecting to be in fally, or still in the barrow place thanks to a nice person who killed whatever was attacking me. I was standing in the watchtower (what the heck... I didn't even know I had the runes for that) with an ahrim hood sitting in my inventory. Glad I studied :D You tried to sneak in barrows! :uhh: That's disastrous. You could sneak in maybe fishing or woodcutting but not like high level combat! :shock: When I used to play, I was doing slayer at fire giants and I was sneaking it in (usually I don't have to sneak it in but when you wake up early and have OCD Looking at the sky when it's rising and can't get back to sleep what else is there to do :-s ). Oh yeah and my mom doesn't like me playing early in the morning because it makes me a first grade loser (well hell I think people who wake up PURPOSELY in the morning to play RS is well...a bit sad :-w ). Yeah well I was wearing torags + whip + but new zerker ring! 8-) Yeah I had to X out real fast, and when she left I logged back in to find that I was still alive (phew!) and everything was there. I won't go into detail because it invades the privacy of one of my friends(not the one I just mentioned), but I seriously think I'll get it back. So i say, i'll do it later! so i log into rs and decide to go pking (at 60 att, 47 str and like 50 def) So i'm out there and all of a sudden, i get frozen and me, being a comp1337 nub, didn't know wtf ancients was, so then i died and lost close to 300k. I get a 2hr lunch, so I do all my homework then, then come home and play :) It works less now that two of my mates moved nearer, we just all head to their house and have a mini-party every lunchtime. Other than that, I quit my membership when I have exams or lots of coursework. I'm a good girl really :) As for where schoolwork gets you, it gets you NOWHERE. As long as you speak *insert your native language here* and can count from one to twenty you'll be fine, unless you want a really high paid job. I had studied about an hour and was sure I knew it. My mom came in and told me she was going to run errands, and for me to study while she was gone. So of course, I hop on the computer as soon as she leaves the driveway. I get a message from my friend almost instantly, "hey dude! i'm getting 99 magic come to my party!!!!" So, I go. First thing that catches my eye is the scumbag that stole my friends green mask. I message my friend, "omg! is your friend?!?!" He says that she is not, he is getting 99 magic along with a friend, and it was his friend. This was hint number one. I met the other guy getting 99 magic and became decent friends with him. He had worn my ring of stone a few times, including at his big party. Today I see him in Edge bank. He asks if he can wear ring, I'm stupid enough to give to him, and he disappears in a purple circle. If only I had studied instead of going to the party(I made an A though \ ) ==== Well this the lamest runescape day ever. Soon after I organize a small dk trip with my friend. We take the 15 minutes it takes getting to the kings. After eight, yes EIGHT, casts a lurer comes in and makes us both tele away So kids, do your homework instead of playing RuneScape. :) Sure wish I had. Thats plain ignorance on your part. But the lesson is right, study first. Runescape will always be there later.He knows a good friend of mine irl.
