Good usernames?

Featured Replies

Don't use a name that tries to make you look:

Badass

Dangerous

Evil

If you do, regardless of how creative you are, it will not be original.

@Reb: I agree, I hate Googling my username and finding out someone registered my username on a peep site or some other strange place.

Lets not also forget the goverments plans to make big flashing images come up saying you are a pedophile if you happen to have a similar username to a sex offender lol.

Key points to remember about bad username have already been mentioned by Parabola and others but I tend to like username which are alternate spellings of common words or a portmanteau or compound of two words together to create something totally new.

I see names that try and get across ideas like that a lot when I play Ghost Recon. Usually I end up having a sniping fest all over their face, so I've learned to realize that nearly everyone is not going to live up to that kind of name  . And even if a guy did live up to the name, he lack of originality isn't great.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

something that is personal to you(like a teddy bears tame) or a wierd nickname your dad called you one day(that how i got shivers, i never wear and warm clothes on days when its like -40 like jens and a hoodie :XD: LIVING UP TO MY NAME: its feb. 26 and - 13 out side, i'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt!) numbers really reck the name though. not if they have something to do with the name though like that guy with euro500fan or like that. i think personal is more important then unique. and having a name that makes you look bad is stupid, like poopingman. poopingman, do you play RS on the toilet -.- ?

It's more terrifying to cop a bullet in the face from a guy with a name like Hello Kitty than some pretentious kid calling himself DarkSlaya992.

Quite clearly the opposite of mine.

Ghost Recon so freaking hard. So it's nice to take a grenade launcher or anti tank rocket and shoot your own guys.

And I totally agree, more terrifying to get own't by someone named Dora The Explorer than Celt23.

One time on a multiplayer game it was a terrible experience getting whipped out by someone named Rubber Ducky.

How true. And geez, that sucks  .

Grenade launchers are always nice (and hilarious), no matter what the name of your opponent is... *enemy player runs out in Nowhere, 5 seconds into the game, with no one in sight, he gets blown up by a long distance grenade launcher from an enemy* "WTF!?!".

Ah, the pleasure one feels from blowing up someone sniping in the fence hole from a couple hundred meters away... good times, good times.

Geez, with my Xbox recently broken I'm going into GRAW debt -.- .

I use the PC one. And yeah sniping on that game is alot of fun.

a cool name would be something like

the first 4 letters of your last name followed by the first 4 letters of your first name followed by a number

if privacy is a concern, name yourself after your favourite hobby

noobff5.gif

Anything without random numbers in the end tends to be cool. Even some bands are starting to use numbers nowadays... geez.

You'd never guess where I took my name from! :D

Maybe it is derived from appendages.

1. Go to wikipedia

2. Click random article twice

3. Combine the two names...

4. Write it backwards

5. Replace some consonants with other consonants...

Are you blind or ignoring me on purpose?

Even though I sometimes side with religious people in some debates, I no longer consider myself religious.
