sparticus348
Well, after the All-Star Break, I thought I'd make this post, about Dunkers. This years Dunk Contest in my opinion was lame. They gave garbage points to the tall players, and the short players, in my opinion were unfairly scored. So I just though I'd ask: Who do you think is the most creative, fun to watch, dunker? IMO: Vince Carter. Hands down. The man Vince is dunking over is Frederic Weiss, he is 7'1" or 2.16m :-w Break
foolgool
I have a poster of that last dunk, and I'll agree that Vince is the best ingame. My favorite dunk, though, was Dwight Howard's sticker slam. The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132.
Brandon_7
Vince Carter is amazing  . I really do like to see Kobe do a nice on every once in a while. I didn't want this years dunk contest, but I heard it was terrible. I don't think I have a favorite dunker atm though. :-k
Poopingman
I would say Carter 3-5 years ago. But hes passing his prime. Keen eyes will remember him missing several dunks during last year's All Star Game. Nowadays, Josh Smith...Andre Iguodala...Amare Stoudemire all come to mind instantly. I'm sure theres more though. Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King....
sparticus348
Of course - all players will reach their prime, and fade. Now-a-days, Vince doesn't do as-many tomahawk, windmill jams, but more ally-oop, and just the normal dunk. Personally I think the best dunk ever was Vince between the legs, or Jordan's from the Free-throw line Break

krunkthemonk
Vince Carter hands down. His best would probably be the one he did at the 2000 Olympics. Heres the video if you haven't seen it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=3iPVGlc2PC4 The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard. kido14
Agreed with everyone lol. I've been a fan since I saw him play in the ACC tournament the year before he went to the NBA (Chapel Hill is my favorite team). I've always liked him the most as a dunker. But even though the judges gave extra points to Nate Robinson just becuase he is so short (probably) you have to admit, it's insane seeing him jump that high. His feet are like half the distance to the rim O.O. Ambassadar
Before a few ankle injuries I could knock down a 360 dunk(barely) in my jumping prime as well as take off from the box in the lane and hit my elbow on the rim. A between your legs dunk was much harder than a freethrow line dunk in my opinion. I tried to see how close I could get to both of them and I wasn't even close on the between the legs dunk. The freethrow line dunk I couldn't do but I could at least complete the dunk even if I cheating and was taking off three feet after the free throw line when I did it. I am a two foot jumper and for me what made the between the legs dunk so difficult is the action of moving your arms down to put the ball between the legs and the way you have to move your body in the air just kills your upward momentum. There may be some special technique he did for this but for me it just absolutely destroyed my upward momentum trying to go between the legs with it in the air. If he didn't have some special technique that made it easier it is absolutely amazing to be able to pull off that dunk. It took a good 1 or 2 feet off my jumping ability trying to do it. Vince is the man at dunking...
