Cave Horrors are a great way of making money

as they drop the BLACK MASK at a ratio 1:150(this is not for everyone,it's still based on luck :wink: )

Heres some info on the cave horror

Cave Horrors have Mage based melee Attacks and hit a lot!

Requirements:

-Slayer 58

-Ranged 70*(mainly for higher mage def,but 60 will do it too)

-Attack 70* (for the whip)

-45 defense Beserker,d hide body,of course completed dragon slayer

:|||Defense 70,for guthan or verac helm better def,not needed.

-defence pot can be replaced with super defence,i take it to stay a little longer.

You can also use full guthans with protect from melee to heal.

You could include some range/mage and hally safespots.

Guthan is bad there,i itried it and ended up tele'ing at 18hp :wink:

and i dunno any hally/range spots down there :evil:

i use guthan there when im like 1/2 of my hp , just to be sure i wont end up in lumby :wink:

you may want to know i spend there 3 days with ring of life that were 3 full days and did not get a mask last week i think i try it again i forgot mine ring of wealth and bam second kill i have a mask :D

i always get a mask(or 2 :D ) on a slayer task,when not on a slayer task i always end up with nothing :(

I really want to try killing these but i cannot be bothered to get 40 farming for rum deal. I love slayer and i hate farming that why slayer is 66 :) and farming is 13 :D :roll:

I tryed to kill cave horrors right when i got to level 58 and on my second kill got a black mask. I put my luck on my ring of wealth. :D

The (10) is an effect that lowers the enemys defense after the 10 uses are gone the mask still gives a 15% str and attack bonus towards slayer monsters though.

Ok, there attack is magic based melee. That means that it's a magic attack, only mage defense helps. The only special thing about the attack is that it isn't ranged, melee defence will not help. So in the defensive suit you'd want to have like a mage fremmenik helm or a mystic hat. You'd also want mage, or mystic, boots and maybe even a saradomin book if you're still getting hit and would like to trade its defence for the defender bonuses.

There's also a good place to melee... I think it was in the southeast corner? There's 2 cave horrors really close. There are also some white bats near there that won't really interfere by being aggressive at you, but they will serve you if you want to use Guthan because they won't hurt very much, like the cave horrors do, and they make switching between the cave horror suit and the guthan possible.

Here's a hint: When you get a black mask (10) sell it, then buy a Black Mask (no charges) much cheaper. I really quickly made 300k like that when I got mine. No matter how many times you tell people that the charges are basically worthless they still pay more for the fresh mask.

Also, right by the entrance there's a double range spot, so you may want to add a Ranging section. There's a small thing hallway between two cave walls just south of the entrance. At the north end of the hall you can range the cave horror from behind the stalagmite. At the other end of the hall you can range that one to the east from the hall, he just gets really stuck without and effort.

Also, on your map you mispelled "arrive".

 

There aren't any requirements for the mask.

blakc mask requires stupid 10 def i bought 1 on mine pure then tried to wear and it said i needed 10 defence to wear it :oops:

Yah, that's the safespot that I was describing. Then at the north part of that little hallway you can range that cave horror using the stalagmite up there.
