  1. Yeah... thats cool, ill think about that, but it may take work... you mean like what monsters deal less damage and are good for training strength... anyway... i was away for a bit so i didn't get to update it till now.
  2. What i want to see is posses rounding up the macroers, and then have a jail area where tomatos can be thrown at them... also, those rangers need new training targets  anyway... i would go every day, to see the floor drop away and hear a sickening crack  im all for it!
  3. ADD me in, one of the best ideas among the other threads... discounting the bank campaign thread... :D
  4. Heres one of em... Woot, keep it up people, PUT THE PRESSURE ON... oh, and by now, i imagine that supporters list must be getting pretty long... :D
  5. how many times do i have to edit this thing :D Anyway, great ideas, runevirage, i hope you dont mind me taking your notes... ill credit you at the bottom, along with others who provide really nice information to make the 'Best' spot of the WORLD!!! MWAHAHAHAHA... okay, back to business... :D
  6. i already know MY training places, i want to know YOUR training places, so we dont get everyone clogging this forum. please read my ENTIRE post before replying.
  7. Yeah, exactly, but while your agreeing with me, wanna share your thoughts on best places?
  8. Okay... i think that instead of all these topics on where the 'BEST' place to train magic... or range... or melee... bascially the only combat skills  that someone should get together a list of all the 'BEST' training places, instead of twenty different threads flooding the board. So, i would like your help in collecting a compilation of the best spots for training. If you would like to submit a place, please do it like this: Skill being trained: Location and monster: F2P or P2P: Additional notes on monster drops etc... I really want to keep this going so we can finally clear this board of threads that are submitted on training and then locked and dropped of the bottom of the page to the other pages which very few people read. My original list will be short, so i dont take all the ideas... So, i will edit this list as information gets submitted, but here it is: Training Range Blue Dragons, Taverly Dungeon, P2P, good drops, bring FOOD. Lesser Demons, Karamja Volcano, F2P, okay drops, little need for food. ------Best F2P range spot------ Skill being trained: Range and Magic Location and monster: Crandor Isle, Lesser Demons outside of entrance to Karamja Volcano F2P or P2P: Both Additional notes on monster drops etc... You must've started Dragon Slayer and gone through the false door at least once. You'll want to bring about 5 lobsters each trip because you'll need to consume 1 or 2 on your way through the Volcano, and then the rest for "accidents" like accidentally walking out into the lessers or random monsters attacking you. You also want to bring enough tele runes to teleport back to Falador when you're done, and 30gp to get on the boatride to Karamja. The best safespot is triangularly between the two lesser demon, diagonal from a ground-root...it's kind of hard to explain but you'll understand once you get there. There's a hobgob there that'll attack you sometimes, but only if you're under lvl 40. There are two lesser demons there and once you've killed each one 3-4 times, they'll stop being agressive so you don't have to worry so much. The lessers are very good for training and also do good drops. Not only do they have 80hp for you to pound on, they also drop tons of coins, runes, and rune meds. If you're ranging it's also extremely practical to pick up your arrows unlike other areas since the lesser drop and your arrows will be on the same pile. I like to tele back to Falador whenever I'm full of loot, and it takes only a minute to get back. Best f2p range spot imo. -------end of best F2P range spot-------- Minotaurs, Stronghold of Security, F2P, low level training, good drops for rangers, including arrows. Greater Demons, Watchtower Cave, P2P, need to do quest, but drops clues and rune items. Need to bring tele-grab runes. Training Magic I really think that this is a no brainer... just go with the range spots, but if you have innovative ideas, please, tell me! Training Melee Lesser Demons, Karamja Volcano, F2P, food or prayer pots, though its not really needed... fairly crowded on member and free servers. Fire Giants, Brimhaven Dungeon, P2P, pretty basic, and not that crowded, bring food or prayer. Minotaurs, Stronghold of Security, F2P, low level training, good drops for that lvl. Moss Giants, Varrock Sewers, F2P, great drops for training prayer. Fire Giants, Baxtorian Falls, P2P, must have completed waterfall quest. Feel free to suggest your fav spots, and trash the horrible ones. all im trying to do is clean the board, and help people :-w And maybe a sticky!!! WOOT! ~Elphinstone P.S. And then there are those, like the Tip.It Times editor, that are addicted to Pest Control. Alright... Have it your way :D People who contributed 'BEST' spots: ME!, runevirage... let there be more...
  9. A range pure has ranged, hp and def. a str pure has str and hp... and a MAGE pure has magic and hitpoints, since that is what lvls the total lvl... at least i think so. Anyway, you need defence for any char... no matter if its a pure or not. so... i would say 40 is pretty good, and not that hard to get too, if you are using an iron scimmy or 2 hander.
  10. Im addicted to lessers and greater demons for some reason... but blue dragons sound good.
  11. honestly... i didn't trade anyone while doing the quests... i did all the work 8-) but, it took me a while, especially during dragon slayer... i just kept taking breaks and using my food to kill random monsters. but i suppose the best thing to do would be to figure out all the quests and then move in a circle around the world, finishing everything in a given location and then doing the same thing again when you get back to that location, Ex: having several quests going at once and delaying finishing them until you get to the right location. It would also take a bit of inventory management! and a good memory, like remembering to pick up the cabbage for black knights fortress ect...
  12. i get a lot of Dwarf while mining, but mostly its the MOM... and then the odd sandwich lady who likes ot telly me places
  13. Do as many treasure trails as i can get my hands on... and then, hmm... GET A DWARVEN CANNON, WOOT!
  14. mine is actually named after my D&D character... i just took an elf ranger and made it into: A WARRIOR WITH A HUGE MAUL!
  15. None of you have ANYTHING compared to this... I once overheard two noobs talking... one of them bragging about how he had logged on to his brothers account, and then after checking this crown thing with the general store, he found out it was only worth 1GP!!!!!! OH MY!!!! He then procceeded to sell it to another player for 100k!!! amazing... Can you guess what the crown thingy is? ill just say his brother is going to be mightily pissed off...
  16. I would take all my strength xp, and pour it into mining. (Yeah... i know thats stupid, but i want mining xp) or i would dump all my mining xp into FISHING!! WOOT!! they also should make the invincibility skill:)
  17. What do you want to prove... by providing the least entertaining clips of RS compared to some really cool graphical shots from WoW? accept it... RS is on a Java browser, and WoW is over 2 gigs of comp space... What do you expect? RS is fun, but not in the highly advanced skill system and combat system that WoW is built about. Tell me... can you, in WoW fish up a shark, then chop down a maple tree, light a fire and cook that shark? Or, can you build your own house and then stuff the KBD's head and put it on your wall along with that shark? Still find RS boring? If you do... well stop posting your hate on the general forums. ~Elphinstone
  18. mod should lock this... LOOK AT THE STICKY!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. HAHA, what i want is a dwarven cannon and ring of charos(u)... No... but really, i would like 500k death runes and elemetal runes and a demonic throne MWAHAHAHAHA ill show the world THAT I SHALL RULE MWAHAHAHAHA............. okay... you get the picture, yeah, that would be cool.
  20. MMORPG can also stand for massively multiplayer OFFLINE rpg... but nvm that. RuneScape would never survive, and how whould you get the updates haveing to re-download it every week? there is NO single player on RS, and thats all there is too it. Is your internet down or what?
  21. subliminal mind control... : Yeah    We are all under control by Jagex... But, it seems that addiction is good in this case:) GO RUNESCAPE
  22. Inteesting... Anyway, i think i prefer quests most of all, i love poleplaying (im a D&D fanatic, so i prefer to do quests to lvling skills. Except when i need a higher skill lvl. It's strange, addictions. I log on just for the TET event today, and i end up playing all morning and into the late afternoon. Maybe they should devise an anti RuneScape addiction pill. Market it as (10 RuneScape addiction free hours so you can finally sleep, for only 1 mil) Anyway, keep it up
  23. Hey, im not whining, if that's what you mean, im just asking peoples fav part of RuneScape, and the reasons the come back after some of the whining people beat up on em. I personally come back for COMBAT, and the holiday items too \
  24. Im sorry about that, and i tried to fix it, but my comp is running slowly. could you keep this thread and lock the other one? Sorry for the inconvience.
  25. Well, thats my question. And I really want to know why everyone who plays RuneScape come back day after day to gain another mining level or kill a dragon or two. I mean, take a look on the Rants board and you will see what i mean. All the problems people say they have to put up with, but as they're writing that they are already back on RuneScape hacking away at a dragon or demon somewhere in the Brimhaven dungeon. Look at it this way. I was mining today in the dwarven mines, and i got 2 M.O.M, and 2 Sandwich Lady. During that time, i had to deal with countless people yelling at me for mining faster than them, and one person who kept claiming his friend was a mod and in the guild. Then he calimed his friend was JaGeX staff... At that point, my second sandwich lady kicked in, and by accident i clicked the wrong food. I then got teleported somewhere near Lumbridge. I didn't have the runes for Fally teleport on me, so I logged out. But tommorrow i'll be back on for the T.E.T event, and more mining. It's events like this that make you want to quit, but you keep coming back, even when you lose your best items or even get hacked. :ohnoes: So i ask again. What is it that makes you come back to a game which can make you feel so screwy? :-k
