So last night I finished banking 99 Farming :thumbsup: My current bank atm: And I bought a Torva Full Helm to go mess around at Bandos duo with a friend last night. This is my sexy setup: And I sold it back for a pro 8M loss!!! Selling merch tips 8M! uhh... I started work yesterday so I will be on a lot less. Will finish up fm and fletch soon. And farming should take around 90 Days. Doing 1 run per day of Mages/Palms/Calquats. Still need to make 255M for 99 Con and Smith, but it can wait. peace, Vann

Is hosting dice games a good way of making money if you have a lot already? Like do people put in a lot and win that often? Yes, Dice games are good. Better odds than staking if you are hosting the dice game. 60/40 odds. Went from the above (~250M) after losing quite a bit back up to this: Took a few hours this evening after dinner. Tried buying a Green Mask back but they wouldn't buy for 130M. All I know is I need to make another ~550M to buy 99 Fletch in broad arrows, 99 Con in mahogany, 99 smithing in mith/addy plates, 99 Farm in mages/palms/calquats, and still have 200M cash. Once I do this I will have max buyables and can work on getting my yellow phat ive wanted since i lost mine back in the early days of rs2. peace, Vann

Well today has been terrible. Went from 300m cash down to 87M cash. Still have my Green h'ween and 99 fletch and fm banked (103m in broad arrows and mage logs). They have all be betted on me when I have been hosting the dice game. I now have everything I need for mhing and slaying. Just need a couple rares and hopefully a Yellow Partyhat one day. You need to learn to hide names much better. First you need to get your facts right about Mew2's clan. It is 200M and 4 weeks of legit hosting for a RANK. Anyone can host in the cc though, you just won't be ranked until you have proven yourself. The 200M is given back to you, it is just used as test money to bet on you from mule accounts to prove you are trustworthy. Secondly, I am talking to Pyr0 about how it is dumb that he had you muted. Sorry for this happening and I hope it doesn't ruin the reputation of Mew2 as I am a ranked host in there and don't want the clan I dice with to have their namesake ruined. If you ever want to join the CC feel free to and host within the clan. There is no rank needed to host (we recommend people play ranks who are trusted, but that is just for their safety). It isn't illegal, it is just against the rules of a GAME. There is no law applied to it (unless you don't pay taxes on income... :shame: Tisk Tisk) . I guess you could say "ohh you are selling copyrighted material" or "RSGP gets people addicted to a game so its a drug" or some other bull. To those making a living or making extra spending money off of a video game then more power to you, to those of you that are hating on people making money off being smart... get over it. My post got gamed. I will watch what I say from now on. OT: The amount of websites now that offer real world trading is astonishing and it is easier than ever to sell gold. There is a website that is set up like eBay strictly for selling currency, accounts, and items from different online games. Runescape is one of the games with a section on the site. I'm surprised that Jagex hasn't tried to have the Runescape section removed from the site. The site works like a middleman and if Jagex took out this "safe" middleman then I'm sure it would cut down on the amount of small few time sellers out there. Honestly many of the people who sell use this site because there is no risk of being scammed. If it were gone, then only black market sites and gold farming sites would be open, and lets face it, only people with a huge rep or perm big time sellers will risk selling through there. I do know some people who have been banned for buying/selling gold one time, but the large sellers and the "trusted" middlemen have not been banned because I think that Jagex is trying to keep them in. Let the "Big Fish" bring in the many small fish to be banned. That's why if you look on any black market site you will see the same names popping up of sellers. The big fish don't get caught (or are let go because they lead to others). Hope this post is discussion worthy and not going to cause another warning from Tip.it staff. Many of them are re-sellers who buy for say .60/M and sell for .80/M. The other small part are people who have their mommy or daddy's credit card and have too much money to care how they spend it. To me $1,000 is a big deal, I mean it would get me by for a month with bills, food, bar tab, clothing, gas, etc. But to others $1,000 is play money or their weekly allowance. Also, I like the idea of an "Honest" thread where people can speak about real experiences and such.

I know many people who bot and rwt. I'll be the first one to say that I have in the past. Runescape is a GAME, therefore it should be fun. Grinding through slow and boring skills is not fun to me. All I find fun is Slayer, Boss hunting, and Gambling (Hosting dice game, Staking, etc.). Only enjoying those things means that I don't train the majority of my skills. As I said I have botted in the past, but I've never done it while away from my computer. I was always present, but doing homework or watching a movie. Now a few reasons that I would consider botting hardcore: 1) 99 Mining cape is my favorite color scheme 2) Agility armour is useful 3) ..... 4) PROFIT! If someone is too into a game where they care about achievements that won't do them any good outside the game, then they need to move on. I have a few friends who merch/stake/host dice and sell the profits for real money. Two of my friends are putting themselves through college by playing Runescape a few hours a day. I actually support actions like this. If you can put yourself through college or university by playing a game, then more power to you. **On botting and real world trading together: I know a real life couple who run a game/hobby shop and who sell Runescape gold via their shop and online. They run a dedicated server to host their bots and run an average of 90 bots at a time. The net income of the Runescape section of the shop is around $2,500/month. I feel that botting of that degree should be stopped, but not a person botting a little bit to help with the grind.

So 2 weeks ago I was at a 40M bank. Now I'm at this: thats 210M + ~100M in potions. The majority of it has come from hosting the dice game. Being ranked in awq's cc helps get me customers. The rest has been from ffa Bandos and some Corp. Goal by the end of the week is to turn my 55M cash into 240M for Turmoil, a Spectral and ~50M cash. Wish me luck! Goals by the end of the semester (May 1st) is to have 95 Prayer, Ely, and a Yellow Partyhat Skill goals are: 79/90 Agility for that sexy armour 85/93 Mining for effigies 81/97 Thieving for effigies 95/96 Herblore making more overloads 80/95 Fletching for effigies 60/85 Dungeoneering for Rapier and Frosts After that I will be able to do 6/8 effigies and have everything I need to power slay 90-99. All effigies will go toward RC and Hunter as I hate them. I got my 5th 99 today. 99 Hitpoints... err i mean Constitution... :wall: almost 98 attack and 1.3M exp from 99. Should get soon then off to get 85 agility with brawlers before next Friday so i can hopefully do the level 85 course for 90+ on bxp weekend. After 90 Slayer (97k exp) and 99 Attack (1.3M exp) I will work on 99 agility, thieving, firemaking and mining together then smelt the 150k gold ore from mining for 95/96 smithing.
