  1. I've never posted a rant before, be easy on me... I've killed alot of green dragons and pkers were always something you had to watch out for. But I also have never been killed by a pker at the green dragons. You just had to be willing to run, teleport, or even change worlds. The reverants attack me more then the pkers ever did at the green dragons. They teleblock when it was incredibly rare that a pker ever tbed me there. They hit me 20-25 almost every hit. I never even see them, I get hit and I immediately run. I run and eat as I get hit 25, 23, 24. Ive died twice without ever seeing them, I run and start eating as soon as I get hit. I am 95 combat and I think its the 105 ork that gets me. I am not sure, because like I said, most of the time they are never even on my screen. Now, if Jagex wanted to make the wilderness a more dangerous place to train thats fine. But don't try to tell me the the reverants are replacing the danger the pkers created. These reverants are way over powered. Ok, I feel better now, thanks for reading. I think I am going to go kill blue dragons from now on. The reverants are stressing me out.
  2. I don't want to complain too much but it is sad this is the last Christmas we can give to our friends. My friends and I have exchanged gifts every Christmas.

Ive always liked the Edgeville Dungeon, a few people use it but its rarely crowded. I dont remember what level the skeletons there are though.
  4. That makes alot of sence. I didnt realise that f2p couldnt make coifs. That explains why I see people making alot more hard leather bodies.
  5. Hard Leather Bodies are 35 exp Coifs are 37 exp I got 1000 cowhides to use up and it seems like I should make coifs. But I am wondering why so many people make hard leather bodies in stead of coifs? Am I missing something or should I go ahead and make the coifs?
  6. That is a really good idea, I was not aware that there was a bank in the guild. Unfortunately I have not done Legends yet. Looks like I might have to cut behind the Seers bank.
  7. Sorry man, I think Jagex finally ended drop trading when they started all the updates about the RWT problem. EDIT: I sugest you take your bronze pick or axe and have that new character make some money.
  8. Drop trading is against the rules and they have been talking about way to get rid of it. Maybe its already been implimented.
  9. I've been cutting willows outside of the barbarian outpost. I am getting alittle bored and want to cut maples for awhile. The only maples I know of anywhere near a bank are the ones behind Seers Village. I don't like cutting there though because there is always so many people. Any other ideas of where I could cut and bank maple logs? Other than the maples behind the bank in Seers. I really don't like that spot.
  10. Sorry about the spam but that made me laugh so hard I almost fell backwards out of my chair.
  11. I am having trouble finding these threads you mentioned. I would really be interested in reading more about this theory. Have you seen this around the offical forums or here on tip.it? I'm not just asking Duke, can anyone else point me towards any posts that discuss this theory? Thanks.
  12. These are the issues that affect me. I was so excited about the GE but I quickly was disappointed. I can live with the + or - 5% if they would actually update, every item, everyday. These minimum values they are assigning items is not how they told us the GE would work. No, I don't want my maples selling for 40gp each, but if that is where the market is taking the price let it happen. These price controls are just wrong.
  13. Exactly. I would have no problem with any of these recent updates if the Grand Exchange worked the way it was susposed to. They put values on everything, some were right, some were wrong. If they updated the prices everyday, on every item, the items would eventually get to the actual prices. Some hard to sell items have not had a price update since the release of the GE. Let the GE work the way we were told it would work. Instead Jagex is putting artifical values on items and not updating them to stay with the markets. The GE is great, just update your prices to match what is actually happening in the market.
  14. I don't know if I am explaining myself correctly. When the GE was released I tried to sell flax for the minimum price, I believe the minimum prices was 80gp. I was not surprized at all that when I logged on the next day my flax had not sold and the minimum prices had dropped. The GE was swapped with people selling flax and very few were buying. For the next few days the minimum price continued to fall and I eventually sold my flax for 56 gp. Lots of sellers, few buyers, this is how I expected the GE to react. My cooked tuna was also on the GE. I set my prices at 90 gp, the minimum price and waited. The price seemed high to me, I had no expectations of selling at that price. I assumed there would be alot of people trying to sell the same item and I knew there are very few people who would be interested in buying. The problem is, the item has been sitting on the GE for over a week and the minimum price has not changed. No one is interested in buying at that price, why was the price ajusted on some items and not on others? Apparently the same thing is going on with gold bars. I would like to know what other items have not been updated.
  15. All six items you were selling went up by 1 gp? That is odd. Thanks for the advice, Ive got 4 items listed at the minimum right now.
  16. Exactly. I don't understand why JageX wont let us have a player defined market. Why do they have to control prices? The gold bar thing is one example on a item that is just hugely overpiced without going down in price because it seem to have hit a "minimum cap" (And that cap is higher than the alch value of 160 btw) I think you are on to something with the "Minimum Cap" on certain items.
  17. Ive been selling at the minimum price for days, 90 gp, with no buyers. So even if one person bought 1 tuna at 90 gp, shouldnt the price have changed from 90-100 to 85-95. I am just not sure why the prices are not changing.
  18. The prices on items in the Grand Exchange are basically falling. I log on everyday to find out the prices on everything I am selling has dropped. So everyday I have to decide if I want to lower the price on my items or to leave my prices where they are. I have no problem with is. This is how the GE works. I am selling the same things alot of other people are trying to sell so the prices continue to drop. My problem is that some items are not selling and the prices are remaining unchanged. I don't understand why. As an example: I am selling a signifigant amount of cooked tuna. I have had the item posted at the minimum price since the GE was released. I understand that there must be alot of people trying to sell this same item. What I don't understand is the minimum/maximum price. The item is clearly not selling but the minimum price has not changed. This seems clear to me that the value of the item needs to be lowered but it has not been changed. So what is there criteria for changing the minimum/maximum price? I assumed it was some sort of automated process that updated once a day. Or are they manually making prices changes and ignoring certain items?
  19. I have been getting lag and disconnnections after the GE came out as well. I have never had this problem before and I assumed it was a coincidence that it started after the GE update. Maybe its not a coincidence.
  20. Maybe I am missing something... My understanding is you have to win a certain number of stakes to get a high ranking. With a high ranking you can join the 1 million gp tournaments. Now enless I am mistaken, a tournament can consist of 2 people. I don't see anything that says a tournament has to be 64 person free for all.
  21. My first goal was 40 Crafting so I could enter the Crafting Guild. I mined gold and silver there to make money for my Green Halloween Mask. I sold the bars and eventually bought my Mask for 200,000 gp. I still have that Mask today.
  22. About 6,000 tokens. I just got around to getting mine a few weeks ago. I thought I had pretty bad luck but it sounds like alot of people used the same amount of tokens. It took my buddy an hour sortly after the release date. Oh, and I wore a ring of wealth the whole time. I don't think it helped much.
  23. i dont think i would want a 99 skill. the fun part is trying to get to 99. after you get there the fun is gone isnt it?
  24. Thank you for everything you have done here, you will be missed.
  25. I only use the wild for one thing, Green Dragon hides... I hate the wild but its the only place I can get my hides. Find me somewhere else to get my Green Dragon hides and I won't complain about this update anymore.
