It only takes about a day for macros to train to level 41, so it does not slow them down at all. Every tree you go to you'll just see level 41's. This only hurts the skillers.

Nice, I support this idea. :D I think autos can recognize different fonts or "screwed-up" letters the same way that the game Brain Age for the Nintendo DS can recognize differently written numbers though. The only hard part then would be solving the problem. But only 1000 (or any set number of) questions could probably be coded into the autos, making your scrolls ineffective. This could work if the letters were pictures though. There's my 2 cents. :D

I trained on Ice Giants in the ice caves a couple times. All you have to do is buy the lobsters from the Port Sarim shop, and cook them in the stove a little north of the shop. You should be making more money with kills than spending on lobsters. Or you could try the Level 28 Pirates there. (I'm 68 combat)
