Do c6 meds for your highest 5 floors, c6 smalls for the next 5, then c1 the rest. When you hit 60, join DGS and occasionally do floors 30-35 with them. When you hit 70, use DGS and do abandoneds/low occults. From my personal experience, solo c6 smalls are better than solo c6 mediums (just got done soloing 86-91 dunj a few weeks ago to get my rapier back).

Ok, so I take it he should make a new character based on 40+ views and no advice, so how about some advice on staking on my new character I'm working on. He's currently 20 attack, 20 strength, 42 defence (will be getting 60 before starting staking) 33 hp (should be around 49-50 before staking). Now my question on him is, should I switch attack styles while staking? Wouldn't doing so get my attack level up too quickly to continue staking at 40 combat? So would I be better off just staying on defensive stance?

Took 25 mg of hydrocodone about half an hour ago. I can feel it starting to kick in now. Going to play Runescape and work on my staking account until I pass out haha. Sounds like a fun night if you ask me.

Something similar to this happens to me, but it doesn't matter where I am. I'll just be doing something (doesn't matter what it is I'm doing) and my RS Client will just close on its own. Some days it doesn't happen, other days it happens multiple times. It's really odd....

I told my friend that I was starting to stake, and he decided he wanted to do the same. As of right now, his stats are: Attack:45 Strength:44 Defence:42 HP:50 Magic:45 Prayer:25 Ranged:50 What would be his best bet in turning his account into a decent staker?

I'm getting bored on my main so I'm making a staking account, seeing as how staking on my main has landed him pretty well cleaned lol. I was just looking for some places on F2P that would be good to train at for my staker who has 20 attack, 20 str, and 21 defense right now. I'll be training defense to 60 and just need a place that isn't PACKED with people. I tried the men in edgeville, but they were filled with 3-4 people on every world I checked. Pretty much the same story for cows.

Haha, after finishing off 3 people's banks I couldn't help but wonder if you or Yyboy were responsible for the majority of their losses. :lol: Edit: Ok, I'm starting to get annoyed with staking. I get to 8.2m, I stake 500-800k, I lose, I get back to 8.2m, I stake 500-800k, I lose. It's happened over 10 times now. I can't get past 8.2m for some reason. <_< Edit2: Just happened again, was at 8195k, staked a guy for 400k, lost. Around 8.2m must be my unlucky number. Maybe I should stake higher and just bypass 8.2m

Turns out it's die trying, back down to 2m. Man, if I didn't lag so bad at the start of every duel, I could actually get the first hit in, and start switching styles right away, not 5+ rounds into the duel. Even after winning 3 more 1m stakes, and 4 or 5 more 2m stakes, I'm still down 11m since I started. Every time I try to stake 4-8m, I end up losing. There was one guy who I beat 3 times in a row, won 1m, 2m, and 4m. Then he wants to stake 8m, so I do since the past 3 duels I won with 400+ lp each time. The 8m duel he ends up winning with over 600lp left. Pisses me off when stuff like that happens.

Sold some stuff, went staking, won a few 1m stakes, then lost it all. I fail at staking, boxed a level 113 (I'm 137), she didn't miss a single hit and won with over 3/4th her hp left. What am I doing wrong? (I use accurate when attacking, defensive when being hit). Am I just unlucky? And now I'm broke.

1. Yes, do it as soon as possible, and save all the slayer points you get from doing slayer tasks that way you can buy the ability to make a Slayer Helmet as soon as possible. You'll wear that helmet on every single slayer task from now until 99, and beyond if you wish to continue slaying. 2. Cannon whatever tasks you can while you melee them too. Other than that, try using darts/knives at yaks in Neitiznot possibly. 3. Yeah, that should be fine. The combat stats will get higher as you slay more. Try to get 70 prayer as soon as possible for Piety. It really helps speed up slayer tasks. 4. YES. 5. At 80 dungeoneering you gain access to Chaotic wepons. The Chotic Rapier takes 80 dungeoneering and 80 attack to use, and is the best wepon for slayer. Summoning is also very useful for slayer. Completion of the Wolf Whistle quest is required to start leveling the skill, but even before you complete that, monsters will still drop charms. Pick up every charm you get, they're used in training summoning. Summoning will give you access to a lot of helpful familiars. Some of them will fight for you in multi-combat areas, some will heal you, some can carry items for you, and others can have useful teleports that help a lot while training skills other than combat.

That's what I was thinking. I would suicide in real life after all of that in-game suiciding. :shades: You said it. So what if I kill the enemy in less then 4 minutes? :( If anything I should get more ranks, not get limited! Don't be one of those guys who kills other people before the timer reaches 26 minutes. Whoever you kill doesn't get a rank, and it just wastes their time. Last time I was at MA I ended up quitting after less than an hour there because there were 7 or 8 different people there that would try as hard as they could to eliminate other teams before the first 4 minutes of the game. Oddly enough, about 6 games in a row I was targeted by them. <_<

No, you're just unlucky. 92 DG here and I've seen at least 12 hoods. My brother destroyed 2 before level 50, since back then they were glitched and didn't work with bound. My brother, my friend (and other perm teammate), and I all have hoods. On top of that, we've found hoods for 3 friends, two 117 randoms, and had 2 or 3 more hoods that no one needed and hence we left. Or maybe you're just really lucky. Personally, I hear about a lot more people in need of a hood and who have never seen a drop than people who have seen more hoods than they'd ever need. I'm 165k exp from 91 dungeoneering and have only seen two, one I bound, the other I gave to a friend who needed it.
