  1. So having recently returned, I went to use my Hati paws on mage by stringing amulets and spawning hunter kits. It would appear that the hunter kits are interrupting the string ammy spell though, is this a recent nerf or is my timing just off due to the new counter?
  2. Reposted onto page 10 for more visibility :P I made mine unstable. I'll never complain about Enduring again, that was a pain haha.
  3. I'm killing them quicker than the mage next to me with CMaul, Bandos, Ovls etc. I bet I kill them quicker than you do ;) magic is 100% hit rate, 200s - 800s. I've seen him hit 40s on the second 'form'. Mage isn't useless though I'll give you that but I'm sticking with this being faster :P I may experiment though haha. is he luring away the enduring one? Actually I don't think he was. What are your hits on the last half then? How much its defence rockets irks me :P

  6. Glacors are easy, I can confirm they drop effigies if anyone was wondering. Not that it's a surprise.
  7. I imagine you're referring to this passage from the manual: There was also a thread in general which discussed this but the search function has failed me. The quote has been there as long as the ring of stone has been available. I'm willing to wager it's merely artistic licensing on behalf of whoever writes these articles, there are plenty of examples of the articles varying extremely from the actual items.
  8. Is this really the kind of behaviour you want to discourage him from?
  9. Who would use warhammer spec in an armourless duel? VLS spec duels will be less luck based than dds specs so imo, it sounds more boring.
  10. Claws are 2h though so wouldn't be allowed in the most common melee duels. I'm hoping for a Dungeoneering toggle so I don't have to worry about 1 arm mage staking against a chaotic staff ¬¬ Korasi's sword (sp?) worries me though, no way you can really do dds duels, although I don't know how common hitting above 100% is with it so it could be nothing to worry about. EDIT: Looked it up and in regular duel conditions max will only be like 340 so that's hardly going to be a problem. Guess it'll be dds -> rapier, or perhaps CLS will finally be useful here to get in that 1 big ko hit? Oh ye forgot about 2h setting #-o , but you can still use vls for 4 high hitting specs, and you probably end up killing another with 3 specs lol. Good point, I forgot it was 4 specs. Surely there'll be a toggle for PvP gear if they're allowed at all. If not they become a necessity to stake with really, anyone could have them. It's not like you can just look up their stats like you can to check for Chaotics. EDIT: I should clarify my issue with them becoming a necessity. Obviously there's always going to be a 'best weapon' to use so I don't have a problem with something being stronger than DDS/whip but, with it being a consumable with limited supply I can foresee problems.

  12. None because as they've mentioned repeatedly the GE is staying...
  13. Hopefully all the people logging in for the first time since 2007 will flock to where they know, i.e Fally park, reinstating it as a trading hub. GE just doesn't have the same magic :P
  14. The fact you don't have to log in to vote makes me think the voting process is simply hype and they've made up their mind already.
  15. So I'm trying out the trial and I'm getting into it a bit more than last time, but I was wondering; If I'm just starting out would it be best to play through the original game, then get the expansions or do they add enough low levelled content to warrant getting them now?
  16. Haven't they done this before with a Disney ad? I believe they have some kind of advertising partnership in the states.
  17. I keep reading about reseting the timer. What happened? I haven't logged in yet today. Basicaly, your timer resets at a given time. Some people got it after hours, I got it after 12 minutes, others after 5. <_< No it reset at the same time for everyone, just people had been on for different lengths of time when it occurred. There was a glitch with dungeon bonus xp where you'd get over 2.147B xp so the game couldn't process it so you just got 0. To compensate for this they reset the timer back to 2.7 ~a hour and a half after the bonus xp started.
  18. There is a limit to the amount of npcs that can spawn in the dungeons, so if you rush through without killing stuff you might get a Guardian door where no monsters spawn leaving you stuck.
  19. I vote one of you lovely cache savy people go raiding for these new items :D
  20. 60. Each spec takes 1 minute off the timer.
  21. Ok, this is a question that is most likely stupid, but it's been bugging me for some time. If I got it right, setting an offer just after an update means you are paying more, so you got a higher chance of getting the item, right? But why does it buy? Who is selling them, and why didn't it sell before the update? It did sell, just not to you. The GE operates on a que system, if you manage to place an offer so close to an update you're closer to the front of the que and so more likely to get an item. Due to the small amount of some items traded on a daily basis though you have to be pretty quick. Used to do it with rares when a few minutes would get you one but now they're so insanely in demand it's a real pain.
  22. I'm not sure, I'll try and find out. Shouldn't be hard. Just ask one of your many links inside jagex. Oh Snap! Quite funny that you roll your eyes at that. Edit: confirmed it does not track RSC hours. They do have the ability to track RSC hours however. On the thread where players were able to ask for their playing time prior to the Adventurer's Log they posted Zezima's combined time (Was well over 1000).
