  1. Bob the Jagex Cat wanders around Runescape. Technically he's not a Random Event, but we have included him in our Random Events Guide because not everyone gets to see him and coming across him is a random kind of thing. Check out the guide for more info on him.
  2. Please look in our Treasure Trails Guide. All the information you need is in the guide.
  3. Please look in our Treasure Trails Guide. All the information you need is in the guide. And if you need to know where Necormancer tower is, you can check our World Map. It's to the South of Ardougne, right on the coast.
  4. Please look in our Treasure Trails Guide. All the information you need is in the guide.
  5. No you don't need to do a quest to access Tai Bwo Wannai village. Our Treasure Trails Guide will tell you when a quest is required to access a certain place.
  6. The location information in the Full List of Coordinates and the location returned by the Treasure Locator are approximate and are only meant to help you find the general location. You should use your sextant to pinpoint the exact spot. That's what it's for. You MUST have it with you to dig up your next clue/treasure anyway, so you may as well use it.
  7. We can't prevent an individual user from sending you a copy if he/she has one, but do not ask the Tip.It staff to send it to you or post it in the forums. I'm sorry, but we pulled the article for a reason, and posting it in the forums or sending a copy to anyone that asks kind of defeats the purpose.
  8. I'ts not weird. Our Treasure Trails Guide says this can happen.
  9. Did you look in our Treasure Trails Guide? The answer is yes, it's members only.
  10. Please look in our Treasure Trails Guide. All the information you need about getting replacement navigation tools is in the guide.
  11. We re-opened this thread because we felt it was important for members of our community to be able to share their opinions. Having said this, though, please remember that sharing your opinion does NOT mean ranting and raving and calling Jagex, Tip.It, or anyone else stupid or anything else that could be considered flaming. There are forum rules that must be followed. So please, keep your criticism constructive! And for the record, once again, we did NOT take the first article down because anyone asked us to. We removed it because looking back on it afterwards, we felt the article might appear one-sided to some readers, and we felt it did not present BOTH sides of the situation fairly. And that's just not right or fair, regardless of whether we had the legal right to say what we did or not.
  12. Well now you'll know for next time!
  13. As stated in FAQs 10 and 11. of our Treasure Trails Guide, you MUST complete the Observatory Quest if you've already started it. There is no other way, the navigation tools are not tradeable. Sorry.
  14. You need to look at our Treasure Trails Guide again. It's in the Riddles section: Might be easier for you next time to use the Search feature on your browser when you're looking for something in the Treasure Trails Guide. It's the largest guide we have.
  15. Forget about level 1 clues, move up to level 2 or 3. Check our Treasure Trails Guide for a list of monsters that drop level 2 and 3 clue scrolls, as well as more information on level 2 and 3 rewards.
  16. Next time, please check our Treasure Trails Guide. The answers to all the clues, including this one, are in the guide.
  17. I didn't say that. I said this topic was not intended to discuss Jagex's banning policies. If you want to discuss whether Tip.It should or should not have removed the article, go ahead.
  18. This topic is for discussing the CURRENT article, NOT for re-hashing old arguments about whether Jagex was justified or not in banning certain players. Please stick to the topic, or it will be locked.
  19. Admin Edit: This topic is for discussing the CURRENT article, NOT for re-hashing old arguments about whether Jagex was justified or not in banning certain players. Please stick to the topic, or it will be locked. This week's Tip.It Times has been released. This is a special article that's been prepared in light of the recent events surrounding last week's article. Feel free to discuss the article or post any comments. If you have any criticism, please make sure it's constructive! And remember, this is NOT the place to air your complaints about Jagex, or Jagex's policies! Click here to read the rest of the article.
  20. 1. Make sure you're in the house North of the Observatory, not IN the Observatory. 2. Make sure you don't already have the navigation tools (warch, chart and sextant). 3. Make sure you have your clue WITH YOU. 4. Make sure it's a coordinates clue, not some other kind of clue. The professor will only talk to you about Treasure Trails if you have a coordinates clue. That's a clue with degrees and minutes on it.
  21. As I said, please look in our Treasure Trails Guide, all the information you need is there. Moved to Clues Forum.
  22. kanti is correct. Those are enchanted robes, which is one of the rewards that can be obtained from doing treasure trails. There is more information (and pictures) about treasure trail rewards in our Treasure Trails Guide.
  23. Well they obaviously made a mistake in their manual, it's not the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last. They're human, and humans make mistakes.
  24. I wouldn't know about that, I never really looked. But their 6th Februrary Update didn't say it was members only, and neither did their 20th February Update. Our Random Events Guide has never said the Pious Pete event was members only, even after the event was first added.
