A pic showing a dot is pointless. You need to be 2 paces either East or West of the tree, depending on your clue (explained above). And you say "every tree". I find that odd, since there's only ONE TREE on the West side of the Champions' Guild. Are you SURE you're in the right place??? Please look at the World Map to make sure. The Champions' Guild is just to the Southwest of Varrock. Lastly, you ARE digging on a Member world, right?

Make sure you have your clue WITH YOU when you dig, or it won't work. And make sure you take 2 paces away from the tree (there's only one on the West side of the Guikd) IN THE CORRECT direction. There are 2 clues for the West side of the Champions' Guild. If yours says 2E, take 2 steps to the EAST of the tree and dig. If the clue says 2W, take two steps to the WEST of the tree and dig.

Since you're new here, I'll spare you the speech. If you look in our Treasure Trails Guide, you'll find that all the clues and their solutions are provided. This one is there too.

and We had a topic available on the Website Updates & Corrections Board where people could submit suggestions for the "Did You Know..." feature in the Tip.It Times, but too much of the time, the submissions were leading to discussions, flame attacks and arguments. And this wasn't the purpose of the topic. Further, we found that many of the submissions were inaccurate, and we had to research each one fully before publishing it. As you can imagine, this became too much of a chore, and we felt we could spend our resources, efforts and time much better elsewhere. We may re-open this feature at a later date, but for now, we've decided to close the gates.

You don't need to do any quests to get to that island. Actually, the information you need to access this spot is available in our Full List of Coordinates, which is accessible via the link in the upper right-hand corner of our Treasure Trails Guide:

Please look through our Random Events Guide for a list of all the Random Events. You can use our Bestiary to find out what each of the Random Events monsters drop.

The rune pickaxe is listed as one of the possible Rock Golem drops in our Bestiary.

Did you look in our Bestiary??? These random event monsters are ALL listed, as are their drops. BTW, the level on these monsters varies based on the level of the player. You can only use the door in the Karamja Volcano dungeon if you've completed the Dragon Slayer quest AND you went through the "Odd-Looking Wall" on the West side of the dragon's (Elvarg) lair after you killed him. The "Odd-Looking Wall" door leads from Elvarg's lair into the Karamja Volcano dungeon, but you can only use it to go from the Volcano dungeon into Elvarg's lair IF you activated it at the end of the Dragon Slayer Quest (activated by opening it from the Elvarg's lair side of the door). So, if you've done the Dragon Slayer quest AND you exited by the "Odd-Looking Wall" door after you killed the dragon, then you can just use the door again to get from the Volcano dungeon side into Elvar's Lair. Then walk East past the Lesser Demons and climb up the rope onto Crandor. If you DIDN'T go through the "Odd-Looking Wall" door and teleported out or used the rope after killing the dragon, then you'll have to fix the boat again to get to Crandor. And after you do your clue, remember to go into the Elvarg's Lair and go out the door to exit. If you HAVEN'T finished or started the Dragon Slayer quest, then you'll have to at least do up to the part where you fix the boat and sail to Crandor Island.

Please look in our Full List of Coordinates, which is easily accessed by clicking on link in the upper right-hand corner of our Treasure Trails Guide. All the coordinates which require that a quest be completed to access the area has the quest name you must start/complete in the Approximate Location column. P.S. Moved this topic to the Clues Board.

First, this topic should be in the Clues, Clues, Clues (and Random Events) Forum. I've moved it there. Second, you may not have to do the quest. It depends on WHICH clue you have. If your clue says 04 degrees 03 minutes South, 03 degrees 11 minutes East, then YES, you'll have to start the Watchtower quest to get into the city. You don't have to finish the quest, you just have to do up to the part where you enter the city. If your coordinates are 04 degrees 05 minutes South, 04 degrees 24 minutes East, however, you DO NOT have to start the Watchtower Quest. There's another way onto that island, and it's not through the city. Get more information in our Full List of Coordinates.

1. Make ABSOLUTELY sure your puzzle is correct. Look at it CLOSELY. 2. Make sure you have the puzzle AND the clue with you. 3. Then talk to him.
