There is no answer to your question about rarity. As with the clue scroll drops themselves, the reward you get from completing a treasure trail is completely random. That means that you can have all the same level 2 clues as your friend, and he ends up with trimmed addy, and you get runes, trout, and addy pickaxe, and some gp. That's random. So we can't tell you how often you'll get a torn page. That would be like trying to predict exactly when a slot machine will pay out the big jackpot.

Please remember that you MUST have your sextant, watch, chart AND clue with you when you dig, or you won't find anything. Even if you know EXACTLY where to dig. If you don't have these items, go to our Treasure Trails Guide for information on how to get them.

Not in where? The Full List of Coordinates? I just looked (again), and yes, those coordinates are listed. .

I remember standing near the crossroads and in the Lumbridge Castle Courtyard in RSC, and warning everyone that would listen to watch out for the "man" because he would attack if you got too close. I was also terrified to go anywhere to the West of the banana plantation on Karamja, because I was too afraid of the scorpions. :oops:

Sorry, but there is no "Talk to Jeed" clue. The clue that leads you to Jeed says "Someone watching the fights in the Duel Arena is your next destination." There are no other clues that have a capital J in them, except for the anagram clue "AHA JAR". Do you mind telling us why you want to make up fake clue scrolls? I don't much like the sound of that.

The ring of wealth does NOT increase the frequency of clue scroll drops, nor does it increase the value of the Treasure Trail reward. The Ring of Wealth only increases the chances you'll get a better/rarer drop from the monsters you're killing. A clue scroll is not considered to be a rare drop.

If you prefer a list of coordinate locations in text format, the guide also has a link to our Full List of Coordinates. The links to both the Treasure Locator tool and the Full List of Coordinates are in the upper right-hand corner of the Treasure Trails Guide's first page.

I DID see something along those lines in the official Runescape forums. So no, you're not the only person this has happened to. From what I understand, bug reports have been submitted for this problem.
