You're best of just doing Slayer for charms. It's what I did, and I'm not much higher lvl than you (leaving Summoning levels out, I might even be lower). Best of luck. You can also kill Bork daily if you feel like it (5 Blue charms, 7 Crimson and 3 Green (?)), I didn't.

You haven't done the Fremennik Isles quest? I'd recommend it just for its reward (Helm of Neitiznot) and access to Yaks. Anyway, the Ice Trolls are good. Just cannon them north of Jatiszo (credits TruthScape). REALLY fast XP (both Ranged and Slayer) and great loot. Several Rune items aren't rare, 100% Big Bone drop and occassional Granite Shields and Long/Curved bones. Just Protect from Melee with a Round Shield as made in quest (really use it) and you're fine. I did a 160 Troll task in about half an hour/45 minutes using this method and made only 5K loss (Cannonball cost at 130k, loot at 125k).

Indeed they are. Green Charms really aren't for training. They have the xp of gold charms and the cost of crimsons. If you can avoid using them, do so. Stranger Plants are junk pouches. Keep them for junk trades, high-alch or swap at Bogrog.

I'm on 80% Maples and 70% fish. Then I sell the seeds I obtain. On average; 30k worth of seeds (I once had 2 Magic Seeds one one day though, and today I had a Palm Tree seed). It's something you do daily for me. Just as some people Bork, get Sand/Seaweed/Pineapples on a daily basis.

I find it funny how people keep raving on requirements like Strength, Herblore, Prayer, etc. If it was the Stone that created all runes, Runecrafting immediately pops to mind. Especially after Elriss says she'd need an expert runecrafter to help her. The fact that Lucien's men are looking for it could also mean the Mahjarrat could be involved. After all, we have gotten a lot of clues (see Chaos Elemental's letter 8's Chaosudoku). Perhaps the Mahjarrat are looking for the Stone to regain control of the lands, perhaps in turn resurrecting their beloved god Zaros? If it'll involve their old settlements, we can see that Ice Mountain, Edgeville, Canifis and many parts of the wilderness getting their fair share of battle. Perhaps even involving the White Knights (Acolyte rank unlocked, anyone?) and the Vampires. Don't forget that the evil Elves have been trying to help the god of chaos. Maybe it'll not involve Zamorak like most people thought, but in fact Zaros. Then the elves could be involved too. A continuation on Desert Treasure, MEP2, Slug Menace, Rune Mysteries seems all the more likely now.

Now if we convince the Elves, Pirates, Dwarves, Sea Slugs, Desert Folk, Vampires and Temple Knights to join in, we have a quest on our hands that'll make Dream Mentor's monsters look as mighty as chickens, the Light Temple a stroll through the park and Varrock 3 as pretty levels. Of course, that would be the end of all quests, too.

You get exactly the same xp per bar for anything you make. You get the equal amount of xp from turning a bar into 10 unfinished bolts or into 15 arrowtips. So why not get the best profit available while you're at it?

You can smith bars outside the Blast Furnace for profits, however in the Blast Furnace, multiple things can be profitable. I did Mithril Bolts till people found out about Broad Bolts (and the profits started plummeting). Mithril Arrowtips after that.

Either you smith them into something stackable, you sell the gained item to Jorkal (?) or you alch it. Banking for Blast Furnace is not worth it.

Any ranged set-up?

So I'm looking to solo KBD, solely for his KBD heads drop. A) And, while I have done so in the past, I'm looking for a good set-up, as I found I was wasting too much money on it. Here're my stats: -70 Attack -70 Strength -88 Defence -82 HP -79 Ranged -78 Magic -63 Prayer -68 Summoning I'm not going to raise Stength and Attack, although I'm willing to raise the others. I have some spare cash too, so I'm willing to spend some. B) I've been trying to get a Black Dragon task for ages, solely to be able to solo the King Black Dragon with Slayer Helm and Dragonslayer Gloves. When I do get the task, I'm planning on going solo with a Super Set, aforementioned items and Chivalry. Now I was wondering just how important Mage Defence really is, as substituting Karil's for Proselyte would help a great deal. For both of these, thanks in advance!
