  1. So today, for my 75th task I've been assigned Scabarites. Never done them before, so I wanted to know how to tackle it. Here're my stats: * 70 Attack * 70 Strength * 87 Defence * 82 HP * 79 Ranged * 78 Magic * 62 Prayer * 68 Summoning I have access to a Cannon and Bunyips. I do not, however, have Guthans. Any recommendations?
  2. Alternatively, if you have completed Zogre Flesh Eaters want to make a good buck, kill Zogres. A safespot on the ground floor (between two Coffins). Bring a Composite (not the TT ones) Bow and Brutal Arrows. Kill away. Make sure your combat level is 89 or higher so they won't be aggressive. Bring a Relicym's Balm just in case. They always drop a Key and Zogre Bones. Zogre bones are 50% better than Big Bones (and worth 50% more, too) while the Key can get you even better bones or other loot (the better bones are worth between 1.6k-8.5k each)
  3. +10 is also obtained from getting the Ghostly Robes miniquest. I'm fairly positive that's the one you're missing.
  4. Others are the Sq'irks (Spring +1, Autumn +2, Summer +3) from the Sorceress's Garden minigame. And the scroll from a Magpie (lvl 47, +2 Thieving) and the Abyssal Lurker (lvl 62, +4 Thieving (and +4 Agility)) familiars.
  5. That is very hard to chart, but I'll try. This was my personal experience. 1) Mourning's End Part 2 2) Dream Mentor 3) Monkey Madness 4) Dealing With Scabaras 5) Recipe for Disaster Part 10: Final Fight 6) Desert Treasure I was under 90 combat doing all of those, though. Keep it in mind. Most of them are also incredibly fun. Here're a few to watch out for. Kennith's Concerns: No Quest ever got me in a fit of rage before. Kennith's Concerns changed that. I never felt more urged kicking something during a quest. I hated every last bit of the quest, and the rewards are terrible. Mountain Daughter: This was my last quest for the Cape. It was an incredible depressing quest though, don't end with it. My Arm's Big Adventure: I severly underestimated the boss at the end. Watch out for it. Smoking Kills: I thought I wouldn't need to change to Protect from Missiles during round 2 of the boss (I was wearing full Torag's and a Dragon Square Shield). How wrong I was. Bring high Magic Defence armour and Protect from Magic the first round, Protect from Missiles the second.
  6. I wore this for a long time: Ruined when I got Varrock Armour lvl 3, but oh well.
  7. What is all of this? Are you lot kidding me? I meleed Iron Dragons just fine yesterday with use of a Super Set (which I repotted when my att/str fell to 74) at 70 attack and strength and Slayer Helm. I mean, really easy.
  8. There's a difference in hides, seeing the TT Snake Hides cost more to tan than regular snake hides.
  9. 2 questions. A) Can you use Tatty fur for making Spirit Larupia/Kyatt/Graahk? B) Can you use giant Snake Hides (from Temple Trekking) for Spirit Cobras? Thanks in advance!
  10. tyvm. where did you copy-paste this from? :D My brain. I typed it all out. :P
  11. Consider these: * Any study should be close to a Dining Room. For efficient Soft Clay swapping. * Gilded altar should be easily and quickly accessable as soon as you enter the house. Otherwise, you'l consume more run while bone running. * As well as close to your portal, your altar should be close to a teleport. * Costume rooms are only needed occasionally. Don't use them directly north/east/west/south of the portal, this is a useful position gone to waste. * If you're planning on making a dungeon, plan carefully. Your Oubliette should always be under a Throne room, and foresee access if your working with a Garden dungeon entrance. * If you're making a big dungeon, or you are planning to add a lot of monsters, create an altar there for people to recharge. * Always keep 2 rooms open if you aren't 99 Construction yet. Make a seperate kitchen and make a dining room directly bordering it so you can call your servant to swap noted planks. Repeat with dungeon after 70+ construction. Don't bother decorating these, and demolish them afterwards if you so please. * Unless you want a stairs that can access the dungeon below and the first floor above, don't bother making spiral staircases. They're hindering and unnecessary. * Parlours are useless, don't bother making one if you're running short on rooms. Also, Game rooms are quite useless too. *Portal rooms are your friends. If you let them border your portal, you can make easy teleports. In essence, you won't ever need any more runes than earths, airs and laws for teleporting. Consider making 2 to allow you access to 6/7 teleport locations. Kharylls is a must to have in any POH. Don't bother making a third portal room for the remaining teleport. Dismiss either Lumbridge or Camelot (I find these most useless ones to have). * Watch out for Costume rooms, Portal rooms and Throne rooms, they have only one doorway. * Use a Butler, not a Demon Butler. Demon Butler costs a heap of cash and are not much better than normal Butlers. * Always foresee 2 bedrooms. This is a necessity if you're using a servant. These are useless rooms however, so stuff them somewhere, doesn't matter where. * If you're using a servant to swap notes for you. When he gives you the unnoted items, do not press 'Continue', instead, just do what you were doing (making and demolishing larders, making tabs...). If you don't move, 9 times out of ten your servant will not move and just stand in front of you. You can easily use notes on him from there on. * While training construction, always reserve a minimum of 4 slots in your inventory (Money to pay servant, noted planks, Saw and Hammer). Also, summons cannot be brought into Building Mode. * Crystal Saw uses up its charged even if it's making items you can already make. Only use it when you need the boost! * Use RuneHQ's houseplanner. It REALLY helps.
  12. Question 1: Can someone enter my POH if someone else's in, but I'm not (I know a player can't enter when no one's there)? Question 2: Can I use a cannon in all floors of the Desert Slayer dungeon? If not, are there other areas where I can't use cannon aside of Barrows, Minigames, Chaos Tunnels and the GWD? If yes, do cannonballs affect Turoth/Kurask? Thanks in advance!
  13. The smelting special of Varrock Armour works only in Edgeville furnace. The faster smithing on anvils works everywhere, though.
  14. F2P? Red Spider's Eggs: Collect on Crandor. Limpwurt Roots: Kill Hill Giants or Hobgoblins near Crafting Guild.
  15. I always focus any of my lamps on the following: - Runecrafting (because it is slow xp. 20K is basically 2 hours work) - Herblore (due to the sheer cost of it) - Summoning (because charms are a pain to get at lower levels) - Prayer (see herblore) Then pick whatever you find hardest or whatever you want most.
  16. Holy Book is armour but it is ALLOWED on Entrana. As are these: - Ghostly Robes - Boots of Lightness - Spottier and Spotted Cape - Penance Gloves - Tiaras All rings and amulets allowed. All familiars are banned.
  17. I have to agree with the post above me. Harpe Big Swarms drop a crazy amount of lvl 2 Clue scrolls. In every task I had (120+), I got at least 2 clues out of them. Sometimes after 5 kills (I had just done clue and got one again the third Harpie Bug Swarm kill).
  18. It's Chaeldar and Sumona, by the way. And, all in all, it depends. I've been slaying on and off for a 1 1/2 week now using my method (Chaeldar - Mazchna, Duradel every 10 tasks) and I'm at 337 points at task #37. Why it depends? Lots and lots of factors. What is your combat? What luck do you have when receiving assignments? Do you ever have to cancel any? I myself would've had 60 more points, but Duradel gave me 186 Warped Terrorbirds my 30th task (virtually impossible at my level), which I cancelled. Luck would have it, he assigns me 61 Steel Dragons the next task, which I was forced to cancel as well. Either way, I've heard of lvl 90+ slayers (with 120-130 combat) getting it within a week using only Mazchna tasks and Duradel every 10th. An estimate would be between a week and 2 weeks. Give or take.
  19. Maybe your stats are a bit low . Just use a lower master if you canĀ“t stand getting awesome xp. If you use anything under Chaeldar for points, you'll spend ages trying to get 400 points. It's only Fire Giants, Trolls I absolutely hate really. All other assignments are good. Just want to know strategies on how to kill those 2 effectively. And, honestly, I could care less about XP.
  20. So I need to get me a cannon to make these tasks enjoyable? And I dunno about you lot, but they don't go down as easily for me. Easily, these tasks take the longest of all my tasks.
  21. That's it? XP? And I thought these was something special I didn't notice yet...
  22. Fire Giants, Dagannoth, Bloodveld and Trolls. Somehow, most people I talk with absolutely adore these tasks. I don't. In fact, all, apart from maybe Dagannoth, I hate with a passion. Pre-Smoking Kills I thorped most of these (as I've been getting them a tad bit too much then (every 2~3 tasks or so)). Now, with the introduction of points, that isn't really much of an option anymore. And I'm forced to do these, to much of my dismay. Now, what I always wondered, why do people love these so much? The loot is terrible (apart from Charms maybe), they hit quite high and don't go down terribly quickly. So, why are these so appealing? Is there an easy method of killing I haven't figured? In short, why do people love these?
  23. Most Slayer assignments were changed. This does not limit to Duradel. Fex examples: - No Slayer Master assigns Spiritual Rangers anymore. - Numbers of a lot of tasks have changed (Far less Elves you need to kill, but the number of Metal Dragons have increased). - Duradel starts to assign Mithril Dragons. etc etc. Duradel still assigns Dagannoth though.
