  1. It's virtually impossible to find an item that'll net you profit. The GE floor prices are in a lot of cases the same as the High-Alchemy value, so good luck finding items that net you profit. However, if you make your own items it is possible. A good example is buying Battlestaves from Zaff (as many as you can), buying the orb and alching the Elemental Battlestaves obtained. It's about 1K profit each.
  2. I would strongly advice against getting a Demon Butler. A normal Butler does it almost just as well at half the cost. Just retrieve 20 planks, make 2 larders and save the 4 planks. Get him to get another batch and make 3 larders instead.
  3. Castle Wars Lobby and Lumbridge Cellar (if you've done at least 1 part of RFD) have Bank Chests and allow one-click banking.
  4. Catch the rats in Evil Dave's dungeon while you're at it (if you've done the RFD subquest in the first place, that is). Even if you got to do that blasted thing again (I had to, too), you can gather some shmexy spices in the proces, which might always come in handy at some points.
  5. Also, realistically, it can take a while before ZMI even gets profitable in the first place. Remember than to gain profits these days is that the average gain per essence is over 145. I don't think ZMI will be that generous until you're like level 75 RC.
  6. Very nice guide, though cramped with spelling and grammatical errors. 8/10 regardless.
  7. Steel Dragons and Scabarites. Steel Dragons, obviously, because there are only 4 of them in the entire game and are, more likely that not, crowded. Scabarites because I tried going for a good task (particulary Black Dragons) and I got Scabarites - Black Demons - Scabarites - Scabarites. I raged and threw it on the permanent block list.
  8. Yes, the audience is fail and is always completely wrong. I tested it once, the 561 score was enough for me to ignore them from that point on. Just do the lvl 99 tricks (for Ranged: Lvl 99 Balloon pop and lvl 99 Bullseye, for Magic: Teleport and Alchemize Anvil and for Agility: Backflip and Juggling Chinchompas). Alternatively, switch weapons (Ranged) or switch to Large Leap/Juggling Torches (Aglity) from time to time. Also, you must pot up (yes, you can). Ranged Potion, Magic Potion and Summer Pies obviously the best. Wear items you got before in Circus and pray for the best. It doesn't matter when you do the emotes, you can basically do all 10 different emotes at the start of your act and get it over with. I got 3/5 ringmaster pieces and none of the three stats exceed lvl 80 for me.
  9. Runescape's day starts 1 AM GMT. Only Zaff and Distractions and Diversions use this system though (and bans/mutes, btw). Arhein, Bork, Bert (the Sandman) and Tears of Guthix use an internal clock. The time you collect whatever you collect from them and add 23 hours. This is when you can do these things again (in ToG's case, it's 6 24-hour days + 23).
  10. Why go for just profit? I do 7 fishing and 8 herbs. I get 80k worth of raw fish. I can use the obtained Herbs for free Herblore xp.
  11. Actually, each Penguin Point is worth 25x Skill lvl. So if you have lvl 20, you will get 500 XP in that skill. If you have lvl 90, you'll get 2,250 XP. So 375xlvl per week if using it all on one skill. Very good IMO.
  12. Summoning is mad xp if you have the charms. The actual leveling is like 300K xp/hr.
  13. Bump for an Excel command that can extract data directly from sites. Can anyone help?
  14. Also, Stranger Plants don't use Strange Fruit as secondary. Rather any 'Bagged Plant' (be it 1,2,3) from the Gardener in Falador Park. Seeing these start at 1K ea, I seriously wouldn't recommend them.
  15. Flared Trousers and Doctor's Gown as top?
  16. Use Miscellania if you've done both quests. 80% herbs and 70% raw fish. The fish refund daily costs while the herbs are free xp.
  17. Don't worry guys, I solved it through a much easier method of just using VLOOKUP and copying an XP Table. All I need now is an Excel function that can retrieve info directly from sites. If that even exists...
  18. Queen Sigrid She's in top floor of castle in Etceteria.
  19. That guy gets on my nerves... Also, the VLOOKUP messes up when using 2 tables consisting solely of numbers. I can't download his guides either. Edit: Nevermind, perfected it.
  20. I know, all it does know is calculate the xp needed to lvl up. It uses B*+formula, however this is dependant on former equations and isn't dynamic. I only just realised that. #-o
  21. Let's just put it like this: I need a formula you can enter in excel that calculates your current level for you based on an input xp amount.
  22. No, it's RuneScape level and experience calculator. y = experience for next lvl (once rounded down) and x = current lvl-1 I want to Excel to calculate my current lvl based on xp I put in.
  23. Basically, I need to make a formula for x with this data. y is a variable given. y = (x+300*2^(x/7))/4 Any ideas? The best I got still had x in the formula.
  24. Don't forget, the 1/10 Defence pures will still not be optimal in this new worlds. There won't be any defenceless players running around there like they did in the past, unless they make it appealing to do so (ie: removing Revenants and abyssal creatures for abyss runecrafting. Even then, though, players will choose revs/creatures over PK'ers any day, except for non-cb skillers, but that means the pker can't be over lvl 9 combat to target these players). And JaGeX also announced new hard hitting weapons. So those rune scimmies might not be all too good. The only wise investment, in my opinion, is super sets and lobsters/swordfish. Even then, the update might only happen in late 2009? JaGeX did not release any information on when to expect this at all.
