  1. I'd honestly weigh them both as equally possible. /b/ is typically brutal honesty, with a touch of psychotic. Jagex is just known for its deceptiveness and secrecy I'll look into it more myself.
  2. I don't know if it was mentioned already, and I haven't personally looked into it myself, but sources (/b/ lol) tell me that the Guinness page has a competition which has a deadline of Jan. 15th, one day after the wilderness "poll"'s deadline. Now I know they said it wasn't related to Guinness, but hey, it's easy to lie. Anyone else know much about that?
  3. Maybe this and the strange power are linked together. Maybe whatever is at the very bottom of Daemonheim is related to this. Maybe the frozen door is going to contain a randomly generated dungeon for parties to explore. a long and twisting cavern that travels underground all the way from Godwars, to the pit of Daemonheim [/wild speculation]
  4. Dunno if this has been posted yet, please ignore the super frickin annoying overused as s*** song
  5. You obviously seem oblivious to junk trading. Junk has a value. 10b of junk is worth 7,5-9b market price, so you wouldn't actually be trading disk for ely. After trade restrictions are gone, junk will be.... junk(without any real monetary value). Likewise, you're obviously oblivious to the question I'm trying to ask. What I said was, since junk is going to literally be junk shortly, it would be in someone's best interest to get rid of their currently high street priced items, with their junk, and buy items currently potential junk (read: Ely), since by doing that, when the update hits, you'll have an ely that you bought with all your junk, and whoever was dense enough to take it now has all your old junk, and you have an actual sellable item. Why don't you think a little before you start to brandish the assumption hammer.
  6. Not gonna say how, all I'm gonna say is... CONTEXT CLUES.
  7. So basically, if you have a disk and an ungodly amount of junk to equal the trade, get an Ely with it while you still can? Obviously applying to other street value items as well
  8. Since there's a max cash limit, I imagine the higher tier rares will only be tradeable for spirit shards, which will always have a vaue of 25gp each and are sellable.back to pet shop owners. Like maybe blue phat will only sell for 200m spirit shards, aka 5 bil. That will be one of the only ways to circumvent max cash.
  9. The cute bit is like, they say "Oh yeah, even ONE MEELYUN votes might not be enough" Inb4 no amount of votes is "enough" for Jagex and they say GG old wild not coming back.
  10. Added a poll like the other thread, because there seems to be an equal amount of people coming to either thread. VOTE SUCKAS
  11. NO PROB, I don't blame you or anyone else for having your doubts. Just realize I don't make things up just to get reactions ;)

  12. I'M DOIN' MAH VICTORY DANCE RIGHT NOW GUYS, DOIN' MAH VICTORY DANCE. I'd like my custom rank to be "THAT ONE CLIMBING BOOTS GUY" Yes, in all caps. Thanks Das!
  13. if this happens, custom rank on me, But it probably won't. Yo Das, I'd like my custom rank to say "THAT ONE CLIMBING BOOTS GUY" Thanks.
  14. The grand exchange is an excellent tool. It's perfect in itself, but the problems it has are due to trade restrictions that are imposed on it. People can say the GE is reponsible for unbuyable rares and other good items, but that's no free trade + merch + etc etc's fault People can say the GE is responsible for the general practice of dumping items at lowest to sell them faster, and as such the lowering in price of commodities, but that's also due to imposed price fluctuations that can't handle real-time supply and demand. Grand Exchange is one of the best things to happen to RuneScape. The rules it has to adhere to are some of the worst.
  15. Didn't know you could, but then noticed you have to be in full editor. word.
  16. While I would prefer the restrictions removed, I can live with our current trade and PK system. I wouldn't completely start over just for free trade.
  17. Yes but if they're xfering a partyhat with inv full of rares etc, that's worth the chance.
  18. I find it hilarious that people are still whining about this entire subject, to the point that they have to fabricate false rumours about it on a message forum. Give it up already children. The old Wildy is gone. Free Trade is gone. Evolve or die. I find it hilarious that feeble-minded people have to downtrod on others for discussing possible updates to RuneScape, to the point that they have to hide behind their own prejudgemental backings in an effort to sound intelligent or superior to others who are more open-minded than themselves. Would you have guessed Jagex would be level resetting six weeks ago. Hell, would you have guessed they would have ever removed the objects in question to begin with? Give it up already child. There is such a thing as hope and possibility. Things can change.
  19. No offense, but you got to stop believing what everyone tells you, people do lie sometimes... Free trade and old wilderness back would seem like a huge waste of time to me. - GE isn't perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than pre-GE. - PK'ing has seen so many updates in the last years, trying to tweak it more and more. It even sort of wrecked our economy, making items skyrocket from inflation. I think that changing all this stuff back again won't attract as many players as left due to the changes a few years ago. + our accounts would be at more risk, especially since they would be able to trade away a whole bank in a few clicks... + RWT would be made easier The price we would pay to change everything back again is higher than I want to pay. They should put their focus on brand new updates, not on microwaving the leftovers from yesterday. You would be surprised at the amount of money people will pay for the best items in game. There's a reason partyhats sell for hundreds, HUNDREDS, of dollars on websites like S y t h e There are people on that website with photo proof of making thousands of dollars recovering old accounts and selling the rares on them, or phishing current ones and doing the same. This game is a cash cow for those willing to break the rules associated with it.
  20. I don't know if anything was said about staking, but it would fit in with the other proposed things Off topic but I remember my friend had a buddy who staked massive, and paid for his college tuition entirely by selling all his staked money. Obviously against rules, but at the same time, I always thought that was sweet. Stupid to make your income / education depend on your luck on a game though.
  21. So have / will Ely's go the way of 3A ages ago and go from bought out, to junk, rinse repeat? Might make sense to ride the wave on this one. Meanwhile, anyone know what a divine is at now?
  22. You guys have more conspiracy theories about this thread than I do, the climbing boots sucker. makes me lol, acting as though I have bad intentions with this thread or something.
  23. I'm not going to try and prove my point, [bleep] you if you don't believe me. Precisely. Because doing so will change nothing. People will still say NOP, others will still say MAYB, even less will say YE. Guarantee you this, I find a picture. I have a select choice of responses I know I would get consisting of "Picture is obviously faked, this isn't going to happen" "How did you magically get that pic out of nowhere? Prove it's origin" "Are you the climbing boots guy?" "My head is too far up my own *** to believe something that was said, and I need indisputable proof even though only 100 people out of millions who play this game saw the event". So yes, exactly, there is no point is trying to prove my claim. At this juncture in time, you either believe it, or you don't.
