  1. You can get a rock cake from Recipe For Disaster quest (dwarf mini-quest). Check out that quest guide.
  2. Don't really got cash put aside for it since I trus the Jagex note in the BTS wich said it wouldn't be a costly skill to train (altough it won't be fast). I've got 11 vulture eggs, some bones (wolf, ape, ...) and workers in 'MTK' collecting two weeks worth of bird nests.
  3. You could always make gold amulets if you got some spare gold bars (or buy them, they sell at lowest price on GE). Don't expect to be able sell those tough (same goes for holy symbols).
  4. Anyway, rares are going up again (atleast santas)... seems like most people who need cash already sold theirs to get ready for summoning, altough I doubt you will need lots of cash for it. Santa's are going up people \
  5. I'd melee them... that's actually what I am doing right now (slayer task :P ). I find maging them to take to long and expensive. If you melee you atleast break even every trip, the pots don't cost that much (specially not when you grow the herbs yourself). If you mage them you need a rare drop to cover the cost of the runes, you don't got that problem with melee. I do suggest having a prayer lvl of 60+ and offcourse the best pray boosting gear you got to avoid wasting ppots.
  6. Just in the bank will be fine, you can use the ores on a furnace to smelt them into bars. 1 tin ore and 1 copper ore make 1 bronze bar, you can use these bars to train smithing and make armour/weapons 8-)
  7. Repair them in someone's house and you'll know...
  8. Thieving (trough pyramid plunder), can be done in 1-2 months easily :P
  9. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=655095&start=0 :uhh:
  10. +1 You can use proselyte and ppots on the spectres, they drop enough ranarr and other high lvl herbs, also seeds, to cover the cost.
  11. 1-99 takes two weeks non-stop playing so that would be 168 hours. That would be 42-84 days of hunting so about two months, less if you decide to play some extra during the weekends :boohoo:
  12. I'm pretty sure there is, they needed to give players who were not sure what to do (quit, stay) a motivation to keep playing, this diary was released on a perfect moment. Don't forget there is a whole team at Jagex, also some people who are in charge of the publicity (also new info about the game).
  13. I highly doubt lvl 3 players are able to get drops wich are more worth the trouble... :?
  14. Hi, I just noticed a minor flaw in the 'new' beginners guide located here (http://tip.it/runescape/?page=draft_beginners_guide.htm), it's a minor mix-up in the gravestone section. The pictures of the symbol of armadyl and the ancient symbol have been switched. I just noticed this when getting a gravestone, armadayl is the winged gravestone. :-w
  15. A little bit cheaper is using a glory to teleport to the karamja volcano and from there run to the cart guy in brimhaven, saves you 700 gp on laws :anxious:
  16. Well if you don't mind spending a little more time: ashes are worth more than willow logs nowadays so you could pick them up after the fires went out to make a profit on your way to 99 firemaking 8-)
  17. I also suggest elegant or a white mystic set, looks good too :o
  18. I'm still thankful to the guy who got me to play rs and gave me 20k on my first day, he also showed me around and helped with some quests :o
  19. That would definatly piss off regular skillers. It is not rare for high lvl players to gain more than 1M xp (even 2M xp) a day in ONE skill. If you don't believe me check various sites that track the xp of a few amount of players like http://www.rsstats.nl. The past proved how easy they were to auto... just google 'sleepwalker'
  20. Just looked it up, they only give a +2 strength bonus, no ranged bonus so in this case it doesn't matter. Level 32 crafters can apply kebbit claws (from hunting wild kebbits) to leather or dragonhide vambraces, earning 5.8 xp. The resulting [bleep]ed vambraces have a +2 strength bonus.
  21. I'd swap some sara brews for super restore pots, it would be a shame to run out of prayer :ohnoes: You could also add [bleep]es to your vambs. Wrong forum btw, should be in Help&Advice.
  22. It does take allot of time either way you want to get 126 cmb but I suggest using slayer. Slayer is a great way to max out all your combat skills... also very rewarding at higher level (great drops various high lvl slayer monsters).
  23. Another wise mind :-w
