  1. Unfortunately, it seems I picked the wrong friends this time... They don't want to loan, much less give, any of it out. I might try barrows, but it seems like all the barrows sets have gone down a lot! I might try killing ankous, but that might be hard without guthans....
  2. I was thinking of nat crafting (I've crafter over 70k nats) but I got pked last time I tried, so I'm still a little scared. If there's no better suggestions I might go back to it. I know it's probably the fastest money maker, but if there's something that earns almost as much with no risk, I'd do that instead
  3. Ok, I quit for a couple of months, and didn't realize that I would play again. So, I gave away all of my stuff. Now I'm coming back, but without the 40 mil I had before. Anyone have some ideas as to fast ways of making money with my stats (in sig) and about 1.5m? Thanks, -DeviledEgg24
  4. Great, I might start training with them once I get some cash back (Gave away EVERYTHING, including 20M made from selling DF shield)
  5. Sure, I'll add you. I won't be in the GWD for a while (Long story - I gave 35m to a friend, thinking I was quitting. When I started again, I asked if I could have it back, but no dice. Nothing bad for him, I gave him the money. Still, I'm dirt poor now, so maybe in a month or two of cash earning I'll check out the GWD. Sounds like not too many major updates, besides PC and GWD. Thanks to all who responded!
  6. Hi everyone, I decided to start playing again! Can someone fill me on on the major changes between now and 4 months ago? Specifically: has there been any large price changes in certain items that I should be aware of? Thanks, -DeviledEgg24
  7. This belongs in the "Forum Games" section, not "Help and Advice". (Note: I am NOT trying to be a mod... I've got 20 times that, but I'd probably blow it all on Ice Barrage at CW (Once I get 94 mage, that is...)
  8. Funny, I'm going for the same goal PCing with HU. I don't really know of any other good clans besides affliction and HU, but there are probably some out there. If alching is out of the question, you could, depending on your cash level, try these: Enchant at Mage Arena (Fairly cheap, and fast) Fail Stun (More expensive, but slightly faster) Slayer dart / Fire bolt Metal dragons or barrows (Earns money, but slow) PC with a good clan (Earns some money and extra combat xp, fastest xp available. Best option, if you can find a good clan that will accept you.)
  9. A blue party hat. (Worthless in RL, but what I wouldn't give to have one in RS...)
  10. Fire giants have nice drops, but can be a bit crowded at times. Bring a fire staff and nature runes to high alch good drops.
  11. Just get -65 or lower mage attack, and you can curse any monster where there's a safespot.
  12. I'm not sure how much xp it is from 61-70 (and I'm too lazy to calculate it), but assume you get around 100xp per chinchompa.
  13. Get 70+ range or mage, 55+ prayer, and range with crossbow or mage with slayer dart / fire bolt wielding anti d fire shield and praying protect from range. Use anti d fire pots and sharks. You might be able to kill around 2 per trip, if you're lucky.
  14. then how is ur hp so high??? PC points -> HP xp. OT: Curse till 55 then alch until your high enough combat to join a PC clan, the PC all the way. (I'm in the process of pcing my way to 94 mage)
  15. Don't Join HU.... unless you really really want to... but what I've heard from them is that they have cold forums and thongs that they get profit from (see siggy), but I may be biased (affliction FTW!) :-w I'll say your biased. The "thong" was created as a joke by some weirdo with a unusual sense of humor. As far as I know, no one has actually bought one (Thankfully). Anyway, the only one who would profit would be the whacko that made the whole "heart unit wearable merchandise" site. As for cold forums - I've never noticed it, but then again I've only been a member for 7-8 months. Besides, our PC worlds are faster then affliction. After all, 105+ people can hit portals faster and harder then 90+ (No offense to all you affliction lovers out there). If it were not for leakers, we'd be forcing Jagex to nerf PC, as the xp/hour rates would be unbelievable.
  16. Draconic Visage from iron drags
  17. Go to http://heartunit.org, and make an account using your Runescape Screen Name. Read the rules, then go to the Validation forums. Read the stickies, and create a post requesting validation using the form provided. After this post is approved, go to the #stomach IRC channel, and PM a staff member asking for validation. Message him in Runescape, and he will validate you. Then, return to the forums and click "Current PC world" to see the current pest control world. It changes every 30-45 minutes or so, depending on how many noobs are clogging up the worlds. It's a pain to register and validate, but it's well worth it. Be sure you follow the rules, and happy PCing!
  18. If your below 90 combat, kill monsters such as dagganoths or bandits. If your 90-105 combat, join affliction and do pest control. If your 105+ combat, join Heart Unit and do pest control. For all high levels, Pest Control is the best xp period. You even make a small profit. If you want equal HP xp, just use every 4th 100 point set on HP. Always use the points in 100s, you get 10% more xp and spend less time redeeming your points.
  19. NO. I've gotten a visage myself without talking to him. On my 80th or so kill, no less
  20. Yes, the mith bolt / rune crossbow method works quite well. Bring some emerald bolts (e) and poisen the dragons before switching to regular mith bolts, as the poisen helps kill them faster. I got a Draconic Visage using this method :D
  21. In my opinion, strength bonus is better then attack. However, it's not really worth spending your money on unless you really need it - I'd just use a berserker helm and skip the ring.
  22. Crossbows are more about attacking high level monsters (I.E metal drags) with high defense then training. They are slower then MSB, but are designed to punch through armor and defense. However, Hellhounds do not have high enough defense to really take advantage of this, and bolts are expensive as only bronze can be bought from a store.
  23. I say take advantage of it. It might seem a little selfish at first, but someone else would happen along and buy it anyway. I've bought p ess for a level 3 who had over 800k of it. Didn't check his skills, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a skiller - he wasn't wearing anything expensive and was autotyping (or else he could type "glow1:shake:Selling A.L.L Pure Ess 100 ea ----------- (insert name here)" once every second...)
  24. At 63 hunter, I believe you catch around 150 an hour, so about 3 per minute. At 99, the rate is supposed to be closer to 400 an hour, so around 6-7 per minute. I'm not positive about the 400 per hour figure, however.
  25. Yes, it's tradable and selling for about 20m. And it's more about luck then rarity... I know people who have killed thousands of dragons with no drop, yet I got one on my 80somethingth drag (Yes, I'm still excited about it) I got mine on my 200th dragon. So take that. "Take that"? :-k Anyway, it's still very rare, believe me. Some people have literally been hunting since the day of the update with no sign of a visage. And by the way, you do NOT have to talk to ozach first to get the visage drop.
