  1. No question is noobish (Besides "c4n 1 h4v3 phr33 st00fz pl0x"). He was the 2nd highest ranked player (behind Zezima), who passed away several years ago. His son still plays.
  2. Yes, there are. Post your stats and I can name a few :D (I doubt your RSN is "retired")
  3. ^ Points to title ^ I'm planning on DHing these guys, but I'd like to know their max hit. I lag a lot; would Ring of Life save me with 91 hp?
  4. If your going to get membs sometime, go for 99 defense. Otherwise range. Range dosn't have much use in F2P
  5. No. "Combat", in this case, means either having a HP bar above your head, or attacking something. And yes, it only degrades in combat.
  6. [/url. That guide includes a great section on how to kill brutal green dragons :D
  7. Nothing that anyone could prove, just that you usually get better rewards at a higher kill count.
  8. If you want to buy one, buy it, you can always sell it after. That was helpful =\ OT: Queltar did an article on the Godsword on Truthscape.com. The overview: (based on real tests) The godsword is somewhat superior to the whip on PVP combat and most monsters, even without the specials. The difference is not enormous, but Queltar (123) beat a person with 126 combat, whip, and DFS about 60% of the time. On higher level monsters, the Godsword was about equal to a whip and rune defender. However, the whip was slightly faster at mid leveled monsters. The godswod was again better at lower leveled monsters, partially due to the fact that the chances of a 1 hit kill were greater. This does not consider the special, though. If you do not have 94 magic, the ability to ice barrage provides a great benefit for castle wars. For example, you could freeze your opponent, then step away, attack, step away, etc. thus negotiating the speed of the whip. Not to mention the fun of freezing a flag carrier wearing full karils praying magic protect... One other use of the freezing special would be bringing a hally and stepping back to hally them for 20 seconds, effectively gaining a several hit advantage over your opponent. Hope this helps. -DeviledEgg24
  9. Yes, it does. It went from 6 speed bars (Hunter c'bow) to 4 speed bars (Regular c'bow) in the knowledge base. Better find some other way to train
  10. I heard something about getting your prayer bonus up to a certain point and you can keep a protection prayer on non-stop by using the cape to recover it. Less then a prayer point per minute? So my 72 points would last over an hour with protect from melee? Even with max prayer bonus, that seems unlikely... #-o OT: It might help a little with slayer dart, otherwise I wouldn't bother.
  11. Depends what charge your bow is at and what kind of bolts you use. For mith and below bolts, crystal bow is better at any charge. For addy bolts, crystal bow is better until 3\10ths charge. For rune bolts, crystal bow is the same at full, but less at any other charge. EDIT: Never mind, there are no dragon bolts. My bad
  12. 35-40k if you concentrate
  13. Nats are selling for around 260 ea. Pure ess is unbuyable, even at 149 gp. At those prices, the profit is very low ~1.5k crafts per hour, 110 gp per craft = 165k an hour  But laws are upwards of 345 ea. Meaning a 200(ish) profit per law crafted. ----- Honestly you listed out all possible fast ways to make money then shot them down. So I don't know what you want anyone to suggest. The only thing thats proftable these days is RC'in and Monster Hunting. Now with the updates monster hunting is on hold unless you can solo. The only things you can solo you choose not to because of a crap connection. I dunno what to tell you honestly. Try mith dragons maybe, but your bad connection might scare you away from doingt that too. I guess your right, I'll stick to barrows. Blue, I gave everything away when I quit for 3 months.

  15. Sorry, forgot about that. As I edited in, I've made over 12m with them, but by now I'm bored with them.
  16. Wildy one is faster xp, but is currently almost impossible due to the new ghosts. Go for Brimhaven with Karamja Gloves
  17. I need a good way to make money, preferably one a little out of the ordinary. Ive tried all of these, but found problems with them: Runecrafting - Pure ess is up, runes are down Slayer - Too slow of cash Barrows - What I've been doing up until now, but is getting boring Kalphite Queen - Can't solo; unreliable connection increases risk Daggnoth Kings - Same as above GWD - Cant solo any boss but Zammy, which has horrible drops Ankous - Too slow of cash Avansies - I've killed 5k+ and am sick of them Any suggestions following the requirements will be appreciated. Stats are in signature. Requirements for money earning method: MUST be able to make 300k+ an hour. None of the above methods Can be done by one person Does not have too large of risk on Dial Up Can be done with 10M starting cash Is not simply "Do what you did to earn 10M" I realize the requirements are tough, but I'm desperate. EDIT: Decided to stick with barrows, due to their being no other alternatives. Thanks for the help, everyone. Mods, please lock this thread. Thanks, -DeviledEgg24 (AKA CompFreak847)
  18. Sure, you might get 1.2k, but realistically you'll end up around 1k an hour if you pay attention.
  19. He already has 70 prayer... Look before you post :o OT: Chinchompas all the way!
  20. Just a note... No more nature rune running in 3 days due to the Unbalanced Trading update, so you better hurry. Basically, go to world 36 with Pure Essence, go to nat altar, trade one of the rich-looking people (Sometimes there's a line) all your unnoted ess, and they will trade you twice the amount of nature runes.
  21. Nope. Best are dark "barrows" gloves from the chest in Lumbridge Castle Basement. However, you must have completed all of Recipi for Disaster, the longest quest in RuneScape. These gloves cost 130k cash, and offer +12 to all attack and defense stats and +6 to Magic attack and defense.
  22. Pssst... Its called "rune crossbow" :D Anyway, it can only be made by another player.
  23. Your not going to get a 99 in a week playing 2 hours a day... 99s take more then 14 hours. Id go for cooking, you can get around 200k xp an hour so 65 hours = 32 days = about a month playing 2 hours a day. Boring and slow, but your fastest 99. Anyway, you don't have to pay attention the whole time. Anyway, do you need a 99? Ask yourself: Do I really want a 99, or do I just want the cape to show off with? If you are bored easily, just train skills evenly and forget about 99s. (Anyway, any of the "fast" 99s like cooking get no respect. Trust me. I have it.)
