warrior guild
I like rune a lot better - it's slightly faster tokens/hour, never breaks, rarely hits, and is decent xp (low slash defense; I hit almost every time with whip).

need advice for my pure!
Prayer is bad in low to mid level f2p pures. It's simply unneeded combat that dosn't do much good. I would recommend getting attack to 40 (f2p) or 60 (p2p), then training strength as high as you can. Also train mage/range as high as you can without leveling combat, as that gives you better defense against those types of attacks. Only get prayer if your going p2p, then get 52 for smite.

Woodcutting from 50 to 60?
Willows are best xp/hour, regardless of level (so long as you're high enough to cut them...)

Tele-Tabs
Skillers use them to get around, as they give mage xp for making, not breaking. So players can buy them off of other players, and teleport anywhere regardless of mage level without getting xp.

Warrior Guild tokens
Rune is much better then mith, in my opinion. Never breaks, and it hardly ever hits, even through my 80 defense. It is very weak to slash attacks, and if you want to you can hally armor by standing on a different corner of the animator. Overall armor is much better for tickets, and I got from bronze to rune with 640 of them...

Yes, it's 94 (got 99 cooking on sharks yesterday, btw :D )

Just a note, the range way is easier, but you can do either with those stats.

The only "official" pc world that stays the same is 78, which isn't that good. If you want a good world, join a PC clan like HU

level 36 be able to beat mage arena?
W00t! 500th post :D OT: Shouldn't be too hard - use fire blast & sharks, banking after each run. (I'm not one to talk - I did it at 101 combat with 80 mage recently. Used up 20 prayer points with fire wave :lol: )

Guthan/d scimmy combo?
Rune defender is much better, it has big attack bonuses and thanks to the healing effect, you don't really need much defense.

Box/Whip stake - or make a new pure?
Met someone like that in fight pits, 99 deff, 97 mage, 99 range. He was 107 combat, and I was 98 at the time (with veracs). To put it simply, I owned him. I was hitting through his torags plate and 99 defense often with veracs, and his crystal bow wasn't hitting me much. Every time he tried full ahrims + ice barrage, I simply switched to black d hide + k crossbow. I killed him with more then half health left multiple times. Staking may be different (helm outlawed so no full barrows), so what I've seen may not be a good representation. However, it made me lose a lot of fear for tank rangers/magers :-k

Guthan/d scimmy combo?
Yep, D scimmy used to train strength, guthans used for healing. Another popular combo is whip and guthans (usually while training slayer; a black mask helps a lot). Guthans will heal you every 3-4 hits, although i've had 4 heals in a row multiple times, and 10+ hits without a heal. Overall, it is very reliable and should heal you faster then almost any slayer monster can hit, if you have the stats to wear it...

Yep, the max damage is as follows: (note that your range bonus has no effect on how hard you hit, just on how often). Full: 25% of your range level 9/10: 24.5% 8/10: 24% 7/10: 23.5% And so on, till 1/10: 20%

Nope, the cooking guantlets don't effect the burn rate for monks. You never stop burning them, but it is very rare (1/5k+) at 99 cooking. Off topic: I'm 98 cooking headed for 99! :D

The Fight Caves
From what I can tell, you wait till you get to jad, or as close as possible, before you switch. Getting to jad isn't that hard, but you want every advantage possible to kill him more quickly, and have less of a chance of messing up the prayers

Yes, I have veracs and have gone before (both soloing and duoing, never tried with more then two people). I currently have four people who will possible go with me, but it seems like none of them are on when I want to go Anyway, I'll talk to you later in game. Thanks

Longsword or Skimmy?
Overall, scimmy is slightly better then long. Although some people enjoy the slightly higher hits from a longsword, the scimmy's speed more then makes up for it. That's why every mid to high level pure without a whip uses the d scimmy instead of long.

KQ hunting!
Besides full veracs, take a legends cape (cheap and a little defense), recoil ring (really helps, trust me - have your friend wear wealth, to increase chances of d chain. He'll get kill almost every time because of higher cb), and a strength ammy (no sense risking glory your first few runs). In your backpack take: a super set, prayer pot, 1 click tele, pass, one rope (have partner bring the other one)and the rest sharks. DD++ does not help much at all, trust me.
