Will a black mask + kalphite assignment hit more often then veracs?

Do NOT wear rune boots, you will be safespotting with no need for defense, and I believe rune boots give negative range bonus. Bronze/iron arrows should be fine.

Silverlight is about equal to rune weapons. Darklight is about equal to most drag weapons(slightly worse then the scimmy, but the spec blows it away). However, I would prefer whip instead of either of them.

Go with a rune defender - gives large attack bonuses in addition to strength, and gives nearly the same defense stats. The +20 or so to defense stats from shield really isn't going to matter much, but +20 to attack stats from defender will improve the number of hits noticeably.

Fire giants, at the Waterfall dungeon, are a good place. Another good option, if your combat level is high enough, is to join a PC group then melee or range, using the points on range.

Get 44 Rc at w16 air company, then nats with abyss all the way. You pay 90 ea for p ess, and sell the nats 305 ea, so you make 215k profit with each 1k of nats. Around 110k-120k nats, and you've got yourself a santa. Another good way is barrows, but hour for hour it's not as much money as nat crafting. However, some consider barrows more exciting/less boring/funner then nat crafting (I disagree - I love nat crafting).

Runecrafting. So far i've crafted 70k nats with abyss (tripsis your my hero :D ) and I'm hoping to do another 50k+ in the near future. I find runecrafting a lot of fun, and it rarely gets tedious (remembering fresh glories, avoiding pkers, etc...), whereas standing somewhere shouting "selling raw lobs 260 ea" for two hours gets on my nerves. I'm the type of person who will run to where the Verac sets are sold in W2, and start yelling "buying verac set 5.15m!" just so I get a seller right away, instead of standing there for a half hour competing with 5 other people for a set.

If your going for something with good drops, DON'T buy a zerker ring. Stick to wealth, which will help with the drops, instead of a tiny strength bonus that makes you hit 3/10th of a hit higher. I'd say just do slayer tasks, that way your training a hard skill, getting good combat xp and drops, and keeping from the boredom of killing thousands of the same creatures.

Woah woah woah whaaaat? Dust devils have 106 hp, which equals 424 xp per kill. Not quite 1k, even if you include the slayer and hp xp, which brings it up to 636 xp... OT: I'd go with pc - 140k-150k+ xp an hour with a good group (HU Ftw ) Sure, other methods may be more "honorable" then pc, but whoever said pc was "dishonorable" needs to stop and think a bit. (Although pc has created a few arrogant high levels who act like noobs, it hasn't ruined the game)

Depending on my levels? What do you mean? If Slayer mask allows me to act as if prayer wasn't there, I should be able to hit way more frequently then just hitting when the verac set kicked in. Anyway, my other question is still: Does veracs cut through her defense at least somewhat? (hides or whatever)

I'm planning on duoing the KQ soon, and I had a few questions about Veracs. First of all, with my levels would I kill her second form faster/more efficiently with mage, melee (veracs), or range? Everyone says veracs, but the set effect only kicks in every 3-4 hits, and if I only hit once every 3rd or 4th time, that's not hitting very often. Does the set effect also hit through her hides and make me hit her almost every time, or is she just really invulnerable to mage/range?

Nice guide, but you forgot a few tips, such as how to get the "boost" off of the lander. You really don't need str/attack pots - the time it takes to buy/earn then more then outweighs the xp you would get pcing (After all, when I PC i average 50k xp an hour from the game, and 70k+ xp an hour from the points

Slayer is the hardest/slowest by far. As the proud crafter of over 50k nats, I find runecrafting very simple to level, and not at all tedious. Although, I find crafting the most annoying....

100 points in an hour and a half is average - I can easily get 80 points an hour with HU. That's around 90k xp an hour from points alone, and I average around 150 damage a game (four dd++ specs and a few hits with the whip). That's 12k damage, or 48k xp an hour from the hits. Add that to the 90k xp from points and you get about 140k xp an hour. That's a realistic average, believe it or not - level 120's can get 160k+ an hour. However, this kind of xp can only be obtained with HU (I've tried other clans, but they just don't have the same "around 30 second" game time as HU) I doubt you can get 78k an hour from ankus, but even then pc beats it to pieces. Also, compare the drops - 110k an hour from ankus (not bad - but probably very lucky) but 60-80k cash an hour guaranteed. My final xp and money comparison: PC: Ankus: XP an hour: 140k-160k 60-70k? Money an hour: 60-80k 110k? In the end, if you spend one half the time training with PC, you can spend the other half nat crafting/merchanting for much greater profits. In case you can't tell, I love PC, and regardless of the army chanting "PC NOOB!!11!", i'm proud of it! It's a minigame designed by Jagex; not a cheat code. Anyway, in case you can't tell, I prefer PC to any kind of training. Sorry if something in my post is wrong - and to those who do not believe me, i'd like another HU member to confirm that 80 points an hour is entirely possible.

Hey! not another way to find out the coveted Heart Unit worlds :-(. I have noticed that whenever we switch worlds, the population goes up 300-400+... Still, you'd be better off just joining a clan, or using things like Heart Unit's old world (publicly available here) then spending forever world hopping, only to find the world just as it is switched.... Anyway, very few people under level 90 could get 50+ damage on our new worlds, for the first few minutes before newbs slow it down. At 102 combat, I still miss zeal regularly on new worlds. At the very best, there's not even enough time for 4 dd++ specs, and the game's over. Very few monsters spawn, so the only damage can be done on the portal, which has very high defense.

7/10, your total level and combat is creeply close to mine, although your qps totally blows mine outta the water (179 qp here - only got those for rfd :oops: ) My bank is worth more, thanks to the 70k nats and hundreds of barrows runs i've done :twisted: , but my bank is totally unorganized. I'd value your bank at around 2m-3m? Didn't get a chance to look up close, so I could be off by quite a bit.
