  1. Naw, Cyclops are the lower than Jellies 8-) But I wouldn't bother collecting guild tokens just to hunt Cyclops for clues. So yeah, best to stick the Jello. Hm never knew Cyclopes dropped clues, much less level 3's. Interesting I guess I should have said, lowest level of the popular level 3 clue droppers.
  2. Do you have a broken plate? Why? If you're asking about the item's purpose, you can repair it and get low level plate armor. Is it actually physically possible to kill the appropriate slayer monsters without their needed items? I believe you can kill them with poison or rings of recoil, however you won't get any drops. But some cannot be killed if they require items for the finishing blow. If a character is deleted to they appear on the high scores still? No, they don't appear on the high scores. I believe that holds true for perm-banned characters as well. Does Jagex have names and stats for weapons npcs have but we don't have? No sure. Does each npc have stats such as strength combat etc? I personally believe so.
  3. The gloves are not, but the cape is.
  4. How long ago do you have to have been playing to be considered a veteran? Here's my oldest picture:
  5. Train your slayer another level and do Jellies! Lowest monster to drop level 3 clues, and pretty easy to kill. They're quite popular for clues, as well as slayer assignments.
  6. Even if it sounds stupid, you can't. You can't put the light out or drop it. You'll have to enter the cave with no light. Was that a new update? I remember doing that before (by accident) and dying lol.
  7. Also, pick a "dark" dungeon in which it requires you to bring a lantern or a light source. Bring only 3 items or less, and turn off your light once you're inside. You're hit continuous 1's when your light is off. A great place to do this is in the Lumbridge swamp dungeon since it's close to a respawn point.
  8. This is not pokemon. Use best crush defence gear and melee them with stab/slash weapon. If you dont melee, use ranged. They are weak agenst ranged attacks Do not crush them. They have very high crush defence. Well it may not be pokemon, but that doesn't mean elemental damage doesn't have different effects. Take the bosses of DT for example, guides suggest to use a different type magic spell for each boss and they usually correspond with what you would think their elemental weakness is. I don't think this theory is that far-fetched.
  9. I think they're just Buddy Kit made signatures/avatars.
  10. Most of these statements were made because Jagex said "Hold onto your Robin Hoods.." in the Behind the Scenes of March. People misinterpreted it or merely are manipulating it to make others think there's something happening to ranger sets. But in reality, nothing has changed at all since the last update of treasure trail items (see post above).
  11. 8M per santa?! When was this?! I invested in Dragon squares...jeez was that a mistake #-o Well when I last left RS back in December of 2005, Santas were under 1 million each. So it was probablly around the beginning of 2006, not that long ago.
  12. I believe if you look on the main RS forums, you'll find Nature crafters and their specific worlds.
  13. I believe rares are a vital part of the economy, at least since they're already a part of it. If they were to get rid of rares, prices would most likely skyrocket for the expensive items like TT items and Dragon Armour, basically making more rare-priced items. They may not be as expensive, but I would rather have Holiday Items be uber-expensive than those.
  14. People don't seem to be very patience with rares :P , mine went up ten-fold in price after I waited 1 1/2 years :XD: . I sort of invested in items in preparation of the coming of the Hunter skill; tortoise shells, proboscis, etc. Didn't lose too much money though.
  15. Yes they respawn faster on more populated worlds.
  16. If you can afford to do this method, it's a great way of staying there longer. Bring along noted food and gold, because there's a general store on the 2nd floor of the Lighthouse. You can sell your noted food there and buy it back unnoted. It's helpful since the Lighthouse is far from a bank.
  17. 1. Fastest way to gain exp for fishing is Fly Fishing at Shilo village. A slightly slower method but yields more money (and less fish to cook) is monkfishing. 2. I'm not too experienced with agility so I'll leave this to someone else. But I think it may be Brimhaven Agility Arena and spending 1k tickets at a time. 3. Don't remember right now, but I know there are some. 4. Err, well I would assume there would be a couple yews and some magic trees. 5. It was released on January 4, 2001 as Runescape (now known as Runescape Classic) 6. I believe because Runescape is the name Andrew first came up with. Later on, when making history for the game, he decided to add that part in.
  18. To make ecto-ing even faster, I would suggest buying buckets of slime. It's quite annoying having to go to the pool on each run. Charter ships have 10 or 15 buckets of slime in stock, so you'll need to world hop to get a lot, but I think it's worth it to not go to that pool.
  19. Here's what I could come up with. Also check your PM for my reply and more info.
  20. The Behind the Scenes mentioned Robin Hood Hats but never about an update specifically involving them. They used it as an expression: "Hold onto your Robin Hood Hats.." like the expression "Hold onto your hats" meaning get ready. People might have thought that something may happen with them, which I doubt. I believe Jagex was just trying to be clever.
  21. I personally think it's the combination of a couple factors: increase of range pures, increase of TT items (decreased chances of getting ranger items), and some other minor factors. There was a thread on this as well, maybe you can find your answer there. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=623225
  22. Ya I would agree with Jellies. Since you'd be wearing dragonhide when you kill them (their attack is magic based), you can range as well.
  23. You'd have to do Ghost's Ahoy to be able to charter a ship to Port Phasmatys. This means you'd have to do Priests in Peril to do Ghost's Ahoy, so no.
