I think most people underestimate the amount of rares left in the game, and I mean really underestimate. There are a lot of people who probablly have secretly hoarded some rare, and others who have just left accounts with them. The amount of people banned with rares affects the total amount very little. I don't think I or anyone (even Duke_Freedom said he could not) can estimate the amount though, there's too many variables to think about.

Well if you read the other posts, you'll see that that's not really true. It just increases your chances of getting a better rare. It does NOT help increase your chances of getting a rare, just a better one.

Blame JaGEx then. They're the ones who are directing this game at younger players. Miniclip just so happened to spread Runescape to many different sorts of players. It's not necessarily Miniclip's fault. Actually, it could be Club Penguin's fault. Too many kids under 10 player that game..

Actually, I run out of space often because I am a Jack of all Trades and I buy in BIG amounts. So I have EVERY f2p rune available, I have rune armor for pking, and then trimmed armor for looks, I have full d'hide and arrows with bows, I have all kinds of staffs for my magic, I have many power ammys and str ammys, I have needle and thread with different moulds for crafting, and then food - lobbies, swordies, - and then harpoons, cages, fly fishing rod, fishing rod, feathers and bait. Sure you may be thinking - drop those fishing rods, bait, feathers, moulds, needles, thread, ammys ect....but hey - I freak when i wanna fish and I dont have the right stuff - plus I'm NOT dropping 2k feathers and 1k bait. Those moulds are very handy when you need them if you just find a gold bar and happen to have a gem in your bank. I NEED all my stuff!!!!! f2p deserves more BANK SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup: Wow you sure made a mini-rant there. Guess what? Many P2P players have the same problem. We have so many items that even we have full banks, I know I do. But guess what? I drop those items I don't always use like those harpoons, cages, needles, threads etc, because I'm not that lazy. I'll go buy the items I need when I need to actually use them. Ask yourself when you look at an item in your bank: how many times do I actually use this per day? It is worth keeping here? PS: 99% of RS mains are "jacks of all traders" because that's how RS is designed to be played. You're not special or anything.

That's the "most correct" theory there can be. It was answered by Guthix in an older letter, posted on the main RS page.

You can't have someone else help you with the boss battle. You're transported to a different area sort of, and others can't help you there. I would think that at level 70 or 80 you could probablly take the level 170 pretty easily. But you may be able to do it at your level if you had enough prayer potions and the right protect prayers.

To answer your first question, completely random. I got my first gnome scarf on my 6th delivery.

Sounds like a good idea, but since I've already finished all the quests doesn't really help me. It's doesn't help many of the other true questers either because they tend to do quests right when they come out, when there are many people doing it anyways. But I guess I support, though it doesn't think it would work that well.

It's a dagger with a special ability against Kalphites. It's activated at random and does insane damage (I believe 4x normal?). It usually only occurs every couple minutes though.

Yes I know that, that's why I said players with high cooking burn very very few. I bet that if they cooked a large enough amount of monkfish, that there would still be a few burnt ones in the end.

Well I didn't say that I knew what fish it effected, so it could be like swordfish and higher then. I don't think it works on lobsters more or else that method would be used a lot more. JaGEx has confirmed that the cooking guantlets don't work on monkfish. They also said that one never stops burning them, though at high levels you burn very very few.

I would agree that it's completely random. I got a scarf after only 6 deliveries, to my first off-duty Gnome Pilot (under White Wolf Mountain). I was pleasantly suprised. Then when I kept doing them to get goggles, I didn't get any for quite a while, then I quit.

A quick tip: Even if the cooking gauntlets don't work with monkfish, cooking in the lumbridge's castle's chef's range will help (I don't know how much it does, but it does). At least it increases your effective level by one (I burnt no tunas since level 64), but maybe it's more. Actually the range doesn't effect higher level fish. This was posted somewhere before, and I do not have the link readily available. It only effects lower level fish, but I don't know what fish exactly but monkfish wouldn't be included. Probablly fish under lobsters.

If you have a friend who has completed Tai Bwo Wanna Trio quest, he or she could buy a Iron Spear (kp) - or higher - from the shop you gain access to after completing the quest and use a cleaning cloth to wipe off the poison.

Well world switchers are legal as long as they don't help you get into full worlds like Swiftswitch once did. SS changed that though, so it only can help change worlds but not into full worlds.

It's the range in Lumby Castle. It also only effects lower level fish, so it really doesn't help like on lobsters+.

The defender drop is random for everyone. Bronze was one of my fastest drops (under 5 kills), while iron was one of my longest.
