I'm not saying any class has an advantage, I just see it stupid to spend a few million more for not much more of an improvement. Well I personally agree that such small advantages of such items like Robin Hood over Archers Helm is really not necessary. But in certain cases, mainly staking, every little bit does help.

I just prayed protect from mage and ranged it from a distance. Used only 1 shark and not even my full prayer points. I only had around 62 range at the time, so even at your range level you could defeat it but probablly using more food.

Well on another thread, a player used the boost and said he still burned a monkfish. I don't believe the lumby range helps, as it usually only helps low level fish.

You will always burn monkfish. Cooking gauntlets also don't increase your chances to not burn them (says Jagex). At high levels like 90+, you'll burn very very few. The number is small enough to not worry about it, but you'll still burn some now and then. Another player at level 100 cooking once said that he burned 1 or 2 monkfish recently.
