  1. Penguins .. Squirrels .. Monkeys .. There's something fishy with the animal-life in RuneScape.
  2. I give away stuff all the time, but the most expensive, if going off current market values, would have to be a Green Halloween Mask. At the time it was only worth a couple 100k, but eh .. Oh well. I actually just yesterday gave a bunch of stuff free to a friend who joined P2P for the first time to help ease his transfer. Runes, potions, weapons, etc. Probably 1mil+ worth of stuff. I always seem to give hand outs where they are needed. Most people get better use out of the things I give away, than I do myself, so it all works out in the end.
  3. It usually depends on the situation, on whether or not I'll pick up an NPC's coin drop. Most times it's really just a space issue, and I won't bother picking up coins if I know by the time I am done there I wouldn't even have 1k. If the NPC drops a decent amount of coins, like Fire Giants or Dusties, then I'll usually grab them when I see them. That's another situation where I always pick up coins, whether they are a large amount or not. If I am at an NPC that has alchable drops, and already have coins on me, or will at one point from alching whatever random object they drop, then I will always pick the coins up. Since I am already using an inventory slot, I may as well get as much cash as possible, no? Sometimes I'll leave coins on the ground for other people to pick up though, not because I'm lazy, but because I know some people need them more than I do. I call it my "subtle charity." For example, if I'm killing Guards in Falador for the occassional clue scroll in boredom, I will leave their coin drops on the ground. I know I'd have room for them, and that banks are nearby, but there are people that always come by and pick up the drops left on the ground, usually lower levels, that need them more than me. So, like I said, it totally depends on the situation. Most times I do pick up that random amount of change though, even if it doesn't seem to make any sort of impact on my bank. I do the same with runes I see lying around as well.
  4. This is how it should have been worded .. *Sigh* I should start my own scheme .. -.-
  5. I like to collect Strange Fruits, even though I suppose that wouldn't be a weird collection, since they are of some use. I do have alot of buckets and pots though, and I rarely ectofunctus bones, so it's not for that .. I just like to pick them up and bank them, if I see them laying on the ground.
  6. It's because of all the different doses that I just make all my potions 4-dosers now, and try to use them all at once. I think it's a spiffy idea .. Heck, even just the option to choose how many doses you want your pot (1-3) would be nice.
  7. Here's a shot I took of the Sea Curse special attack.
  8. Here's an image of the Pearl-Tipped Enchanted Iron Bolts special attack, Sea Curse.
  9. All skills have the potential to be boring, many having you do the same mundane thing over, and over. For me though, the most boring skill(s) would have to be Mining, followed closely by Agility. I despise Mining, but the funny thing is, I don't mind Smithing. I love the benefits of Agility, but running laps becomes quite tedious in a short amount of time.
  10. What's funny about stumbling on this topic, is I just read an article about RuneScape's advertising on GameSpot not too long ago. Since I'm too lazy to go find a link to the article at this point in time, I'll just sum it up for you in a cozy little paragraph. Basically, RuneScape and WildTangent will offer advertising during the game's loading screen, or such, from what I caught of it. The problem is WildTangent is just another name for that pesky "Gator" thing that caused so many people, so many problems not long ago. EDIT: I got unlazy and found the link. http://www.gamespot.com/news/6153974.html?q=Runescape
  11. Construction isn't pointless. Chapels, Lecterns, Portals, Workshop, etc. They're all very helpful. Just because you can't make money off a skill does not make it pointless. In fact, Construction is very beneficial if you get to the higher levels, and can make the better objects and rooms stated above. Now, if Construction was just you building a house where you can sit on chairs? Then yes, it would be pointless.
  12. The latest fashion to hit RuneScape, straight from the Lunar Isle. This nature-themed outfit inspires a little Lord of the Ring in all of us, as Turk here proudly attempts to mimic the fashion style of the Elves. Will this be Lletya's newest fashion trend?
  13. I've had many "outfits" in the past, but ever since Lunar Diplomacy came out, I've had a new one. Closest you can get to looking like an elf.
  14. Sadly, my username "Turkish82," does indeed have numbers in it. I actually hate numbers in a username (of my own, other's don't bother me). I try to be original, but when I made my account long ago, everything I would normally use was taken. I happened to be watching the movie Snatch, and my favorite character from the movie is Turkish. I tried that, and of course it was taken. I figured I would not stick with the game, and just wanted to play by that point, so I slapped my birth year after it. Viola, a character is born, and I am stuck with it. It's funny, because I am known (not so much on Tip.It, workin' on that) by all my friends, and others as "Turk" now. If I ever got a chance to change my name in the future, I would definately try to snag that, or just "Turkish" without numbers. On a similar note, it's kinda' lame when an NPC in-game refers to you by name, and it goes something like this: "Well, good morning Turkish82! How are you today?" Blah. -.-
