i would say slayer but is very hard because slayer is is the monsters hp equals slayer xp and u get 1.33 xp for evey 1 u hit it is posibble tho cannon till 98 ranged gives no hp xp and train controlled and u should be able to get it 99 with out hp and other cb stats

wat would be the ideal kill count? and does ring of wealth help with drops?

umm i used about 2k tokkes to tryin and get a blk defender and gave up and went back like a month later with 1k tokkens amd got 18 rune deffenders best was 3 of them in a row :)

lesser r pretty easy to kill with mage u could kill the 1 at the wizard tower which is in a cage but take tally grab runes in case of a rune med

if u wanted to sell they sell for bout 350ea i think but use them to train is better
