In the past, before they updated several item's names (like dds -> ddp++), the wc axe was named hatchet. I think they just decided to rechange this for easy reference.

As said before, the statues are in bandos's throne room. The statue level however, vary from 50 - 200 The Ourg (200) and Ogers (75) are rangeable with a safespot

Do some quests (fishing contest and witch experiment are nice ones to start with), walk around the world, unlock and start new skills, get familiar with all the new content =) Welcome to Members =)

As you enter the dorgesh-kaan agility course, head immediately East, youll see a little house in the lava, use stairs to go down and enter. Bring a lightsource

you should try going south east from sophanem, then around the mountain, you'll enter a swamp, with scarabites in it, and i think you dont need to do a quest to get to them to manouver through the swamp, push aside bushes

Because id rather shoot a worthless arrow, then throw 700 gp away

If the Wilderness course isn't your thing, you can also try the ape-atoll course (you need to have finished the Monkey Madness quest though). Another possible alternative might be Bandos' Throne room, allthough I don't have too much info on that one, its rumoured to be rather fast (you need tohave done the Chosen Commander quest for this one)

You should take a look at Erichermit's (AOW) guide on wyverns: viewtopic.php?f=103&t=744300 You can find the best setup there, aswell as killing tactics (allthough you only need one, you never know when knowledge might come in handy) But, in my opinion, you should be able to kill one easily, wether you use range or melee.

I prefer the mining guild, as i can also mine an occasional mith ore there. I do have a tip for the coal trucks though. Use a games necklace to teleport to barbarian outpost to get there fast. Camelot teleport if you need to bank.

I've camped at the statues for some time now, killing the ogers (lvl 75, 60 hp) While killing some other statues, i got 6 maces from the ogers, and I gained about 110 - 120k combat exp. So... after some maths, thats about 500 kills. Minus the random kills, its about 1 mace in 80 oger kills. Hope thats your question answered Edit: Also, they drop: alot of diamonds, which are 6k+ atm Mystic, and plain earth battlestaves, which alch for 27k, and 9.3k A decent amount of adamant maces, which are profitable to alch aswell I hardly use food (my stats are in my sig) In my opinion, they are nice and easy to kill with decent exp. But at the moment, you do need to overpower other campers, which can make it hard

Copied directly from runescape knowledge base, "special attacks": Zanik's Crossbow Defiance Deals increased damage (max. +15) to players using Prayers and/or equipment marked by the gods. Does 3-15 extra damage to other enemies. It clearly says players, not enemies. So I think the second effect takes place at any npc.

As far as i'm aware, all 4 statues drop the mace, namely: Goblins, Orks, Ogers and Ourgs. I myself got 2 from ogers and 1 from a goblin, but i'm afraid i can't prove it with a screenshot :(

I was afraid of this. So much for making an easy fortune on selling granite maces :P Thanks anyway
