no, from a distance they use mage attacks so you'll need mage defence on and have to use a halberd from a square away.

The above statement is 100% wrong. I used 40 prayer points trying to even hit one and all 0s. I got it on vid to...will edit And yes the abyssal demons in there do drop whips. I've had one already :) .

Ive been in and outlike 6 times and still havent been skulled, I've seen several people come in as well and they havent been skulled either.

I got a rune chainbody and some coins. I killed 2 of them.

unless you have runners its pretty stupid not to use the abyss.

there were at least 10 topics about this the day the skill was released. It's nothing new at all.

It all depends on whether or not you have guthans. If you have guthans then offence all the way. If not then you'll want more defence.

ok, here is how to make at least 1m a day: go to the island behind the crafters guild (where the hobgoblins are) and pick snape grass that spawns there. Take the shortcut under the wall to the falador bank and repeat. That stuff sells on the forums for around 500 each so if you pick at least 2k a day (which isnt hard) you've got 1m. try it.

I killed a bunch on my own and have had 3 slayer assignments for them and still don't have one. Since i'm doing range I don't really care much but when I go back to melee I'll just buy one if I don't have one by then.
