Really Heavy Metal.
:wall: :wall: Ahhh, that song was horrible. :uhh: wow, im surprised, thats probably my favorite song. It's fast, its technical, and its well thought out. Maybe only a guitar player can enjoy it, I dunno. Most of my music is strange stuff like that. Assuming you're talking about Insects, how is that song not awesome? To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of Pysopus, but I love that song. It might just be a little bit too fast for them lol. Some people like their music all in 4/4 time and it does right catchy tunes. Even I like it alot of time time, but sometimes I just need something really strange and fast and this song does that really well for me. Its a very unique song that I've not heard from anyone else. However, I felt I answered the thread question pretty well.[/hide] That song did grow on me a bit but I still think its flawed. The production quality (yeah I know that some people think that poor production produces atmosphere, its really just a difference of views) made the song too harsh on the ears. I love my Death metal, its thick (almost rich) sound which is heavy in a 'booming' sort of way. The thiness of that song and the overly distorted guitar worked well together but weren't really my thing. Can you tell me (in your opinion) which pysopus song is the heaviest? I'm looking to get into some Black Metal (I assume thats black, I've had a really hard time getting my hands on that kind of thing and I don't really know what it sounds like). Edit - I've listened to it a bit more and Insects has grown on me. The guitar still sounds horrible though. Psyopus is far from Black Metal. If you want black metal get some Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, or anything branching from those that you can find. I'm not a very big Black Metal person so I dont have alot of bands that I could tell you. Thats probably psyopus's best song, if you don't like it you wont like their other stuff. The guitar is awesome in that song, I dunno what you're talking about :D . But I dunno what you would class that band as, I guess it would be Death Metal, but its certainly not Black. Also, try listening to Insects without alot of bass, its not as harsh then, because the guitar riffs and time signatures in the song are brilliant.

yea, very few of their songs are more than 1 minute long (most are even less) but they have 20-30 songs on every album. They use lots of sound effects with their music. It's neat to watch them play live but beyond that I can't seem to find any songs that are appealing. However, the fans seem to find something in them that I'm not yet seeing... also, one of the band members was on jerry springer lol, you can find a video of it on youtube also.

wowzorz, I could be in juvi right now :uhh:- The Locust
I've been trying to understand the appeal to this band recently. For those that aren't familiar with this band they are a 4 piece (I think?) with a guitar, keyboard, bass, and drummer. They use tons of sound effects and everyone that enjoys them claims that their music is totally brilliant. Now, I'm a fan of very fast and strange sounding music but I just can't seem to get into this band like I thought I could. They just sound like a ton of noise to me (and thats saying a lot because of some of the music I have lol). So is anyone familiar with this band that can lead me towards some songs that would get me started? Most of there songs are not more than 2 minutes long, but anything anyone can tell me about this band is appreciated (sorry about all the posts lol, I just have alot to say right now)- Sicko
well michael moore seems to do a good job with this sort of thing. He isn't really the media, he's sorta against the media lol. But its still a nice movie if you haven't seen it. But I mean, I get this sort of comment with everything. Every piece of info comes from somewhere so who do I trust? The only person you can trust is yourself. I'm not saying to discredit everything this movie says, but it is from a political and media backround and they will inflate and super impose it. The media does have a way of doing that to everything. They try to make people what they want people to think. Well machael moore was never someone I considered the media but rather someone who was against it. Thats sort of what his movies are about, exposing the messed up aspects of the media/government. I havn't seen the movie, so I guess I shouldn't really be talking. I assumed he was media from what people were saying, and therefore the movie was going to biased. But from what you're saying he's not media. I might as well just go see the movie for myself :P . Michael Moore did the movie "Farenheit 9/11" which I'm going to go back and watch because I enjoyed this one so much. I already knew alot of what the movie would be about going into it, how insurance companies are in fact companies that want to make money and what that money will drive them to do to basically scam people out of their medical care. But this film really put it all into perspective and showed personal accounts of how its effected people here and how things run differently in other parts of the world.- your opinon on telemarketers.
we had one call when I was at work today. And the shift manager, being the awesome guy he is, got it to the point where there was an actual person talking and said "hold on one moment for an associate" and smalled the earpiece against a metal object lol. Then he picked it back up and said, wait just one more moment please and did it again, then the person hung up  . The whole staff was cracking up.- Transformer: The Movie
That trailer has been bothering me too! I've been reading around the internet, because I really want to know what this is, but it has no official name yet. There's a lot of speculation that it's a Godzilla re-hash, Voltron (forgive me, I have never heard of him), and some are speculating that the monster was the monster from Lost. I don't know, I've never seen Lost once. Anyways, I saw it on the first day. I was very entertained the whole time, but I can't critique it, since I enjoy almost every movie I see, lol. lol, i was thinking the same thing, i also saw it on the first day it came out, but anyways, i was thinking that it was some sort of godzilla movie or alien movie thing.... or maybe it could be the transformer sequel... anyways i thought the movie was awsome! go see it! Its none of those. It's code named "the cloverfield project" its in production and the makers are not revealing anything about it other than the monster terrorizing the city is known as "the parasite" this could be a code name for something, who really knows, but thats what they called it. Other than that they aren't saying anything and I'll bet you they don't up until the movie is released (meaning you have to see the movie or wait until someone has seen it to find out what it actually is). I'm really excited about that movie. It's not a Godzilla movie because the people producing it do not have the rights to do it (copyrights). The reason some people think tis voltron (which would be really stupid) is because voltron is like a giant mecha-lion-robot-thing....I dont know much about it but you can see it from the googling it. At one point in the trailer someone says something and many people interpreted what he said as "I saw it, its a lion, its huge" and thats where that came from. But if you go back and watch the part it says "I saw it, its alive, its huge" so that totally kills that one. It's going ot be something totally new and original I'm sure, I can't wait for it.- Korn: Untitled
it seems to go one way or the other. You like hte old stuff and you don't like the new stuff or the other way around. Personally I like this album and all there old ones accept for SYOTOS.- Sicko

It's still a great watch, have you actually seen it or are you just making remarks? It's a documentary from Michael Moore about how the Health care and insurance system in america is very very corrupt.- Sicko

has anybody seen this movie? I watched it today and I now really want to live in Britain (I did in the first place but I REALLY do now lol). It's a topic that I always kinda knew was true but i didn't realize how bad it actually was. America is really messed up :( . I need to go back and watch his other movie now.- hip hop/rock
I like rock and I like hip hop when it has an actual band playing with it. I wouldn't listen to hip hop in my free time however. But I've seen Snoop Dogg and Public Enemy live at rock shows that I've been too and I thoroughly enjoyed them because they had more of a band feel. They had bass, drums, DJ, and guitars as well as the frontman/men. My respect for them is very high but when a rapper just gets up there and raps to a backtrack I have little respect for it, and when a rapper raps to a backtrack with really crappy lyrics then I don't respect it at all.- Good song to learn...?
you could try some Mayhem too, if you're fast enough :P , or some "The Berzerker" but they use sound effects on their drums, however its very neat.- favorite TV show
- Korn: Untitled
I did too, I suggest you listen to the album on their Myspace. You might be somewhat surprised with it as we both seem to have the same history with the band.- I am still awesome at piano.
thats you playing it? I love LOTR and I love the soundtrack just as much :D - Spanking- a sexual offense?
