I knew about Tip.it since I started using the site in 2005 when my friend, Deathskully as he is known as here, told me about it. I also knew about the forums, but I didn't join because I was two years under the minimum age limit of 13. One year later though, I couldn't resist and just joined. I posted mostly in RS bugs and suggestions, (I never have liked General discussion) then one day I discovered Off-Topic hiding there at the bottom of the page. I remember the first time I browsed, I had like 150-200 posts and the topics where something about the middle east from what I remember. Anyway, I started posting there on and off for a few months, and when I went to California on vacation in July 2007, I started to browse more seriously when I had nothing to do at my grandma's house lol. Then I started in a new school in a new language, so I didn't have much time to browse. Around late 2007 I discovered the magic of The Gallery and tried a few n00b sigs with GIMP, utterly failed but I wasn't aware of it at all. Later when I knew graphics better, it inspired me to buy Photoshop. Now I use the school computer lab and my own computer to nolife here, and I would be quite lost without Tip.it. I suppose I've become quite attached to the Gallery especially, and OT has been going what I percieve to be the wrong way for a while so I don't post here as much as I used to. I suspect I'll be here for a long time still.

Personally, I wouldn't use that likeness. *Smiles at Thru* (At everyone else: :?) Rounded rectangles with such a large corner radius are hard to do anything right with. They can be used well.

Apparently it was a good idea at the time, now I've found out otherwise... :wall: I don't even have over 4 gigs of RAM... It's one of those "What was I thinking?" things. #-o

Indeed, it works, although it took me some time to find binary for the Linux version (And eat a burrito): [hide=ROFLnetscape][/hide] I'm on 64bit, so no Java apparently.

I seriously don't know what's so unclear about that, and people keep on asking if it works on IE. One other browser it would possibly work on though is Netscape Navigator, seeing as it also use XPI extensions and the GECKO engine. (Like the code for the Venkman JavaScript debugger, whose code is exactly the same for FF and NN)

Lately, I've been thinking, specifically about the users that have been here for a long time, that everyone know, or that know everyone. Basically the users that have seen Tip.It or Off Topic change, or go through different times. There are quite a few of you out there, and I don't necessarily mean users with a high post count. But when I thought about it, a browser-based game forum with quite a few younger users (Below 13 or so) doesn't seem to really fit those who have been here for a long time, and they have probably left RS a long time ago or even detest it now. But you're still here in the Off-Topic boards, and don't get me wrong, we're glad you are, but I'm wondering, what is it about Forum.Tip.It that keeps you coming back and posting? It has been quite a few times that the discussions here have gotten kind of out of hand or immature, and I know that it has kind of pissed some of the older users off. But you're still here.

Very nice, I like. I think this one flows well, has a good focus on the intended focal (:P) and, umm, I don't know but it looks good. Could use a border, I think though. If it doesn't have one I can't see it, I'm using a dark forum skin.

I might be mistaken, but don't you have something at Easter that's a little similar to the American version of Halloween? Like, kids dressing up as witches and hitting each other with sticks or something? Indeed we do, but it's not half as fun. Everyone dresses up more or less the same, and it's in the spring and in the daytime. And yeah they have sticks but hopefully there's no hitting involved lol. It's really a far cry from the Halloweens in America... I really miss it, and I can't get out of school to go all the way to America in late October, let alone for something like that.
