  1. Indeed, without question it will be the war on terror. And bushisms.
  2. The question is, who cares?
  3. Thanks for the information.
  4. First build has nearly exactly the same specs as my computer, just more ram. :| :wall: Yeah, if I had the skills to build a computer myself back then, I would have a much better computer right now. I can tell you that that thing would game pretty decent though. I can get suprisingly good framerates with the 8600GT.

Yeah, the typography one is really good. Only thing I'd worry about there is the posibly badly used C4D in the background, it doesn't fit. As Jopie said #6 is really good too. Personally I'm fine with the blocks, I think they make sense. The composition of #3 is good, don't know what to say other than that. You have really, really improved though. I wish I could pump out sigs like that, but I have to have some assignment to do that, with a specific render, style, etc. :|
  6. To put it bluntly, there's nothing to the sig. It's just some text on a background. And you should think about the text placement and font too, you can't just slap on text. You need to also think about how big you make the sig and what aspect ratio; Usually you want a sig to be about 3.5:1. I usually make mine at 400x130, another good size is 350x110. Bigger does not equal better. You also should think about having a focal, something that you notice right away when you look at it. Since the text is in the middle, sure it's the first thing you notice but it's not interesting at all. I suggest you go to http://www.deviantart.com/ and search for signature tutorials.
  7. No time to c/c, but I think it's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murdoc_Niccals Murdoc he's talking about.
  8. We've discussed this before, and the general opinion was no. My opinion has changed on it, so now I'm against it too.
  9. Digipainting is just the word that came to my mind too. And you could use some contrasting colors in there too. But other than that it's great.
  10. To be fair though, it isn't much of a change...
  11. Come on, you should have given it a bit of softness on the sides.

    And it's back up!
  14. Judging by the amount of halo tags floating around, I don't think so.

Well, for a beginner sig it certainly isn't bad. There are some problems though. 1. Having an area of yellow/orange over on one side doesn't flow at all. You obviously need a better focal. 2. It would look better if it was wider. I would cut off part of the bottom, so it's about 350 by 110 px. It looks pretty cool otherwise though, it reminds me of the cover of MGS4. Don't take any criticism too personally.
