  1. I can (Or can't) imagine what your friends at the boarding school will think of you spending so much time in Photoshop. You got the colors mostly right here, and those sparks are working for me. Only thing is if you could blend the render so you can just barely notice... And the text too, the text needs moar contrast. I didn't even know they had boarding schools in Sweden :P You don't have to wear uniforms right? :ohnoes:
  2. That's an interesting point. Whenever race/gender/religion is involved, people seem to be quick to say discrimination.
  3. People are offended too easily these days. Either that or people just react worse.
  4. Minus the operating system, but I'm pretty sure you still have the OS disk, right? Then it's just to boot from that and install.
  5. I reported one of them, a moderator should take care of it soon ;)
  6. Actually, without NATO the US would be a lot more vulnerable. It's part of the protection, it's a three musketeers deal.
  7. No, and I'm very disappointed you can't even remember Lenin's paranoia. I was referring to said paranoia there, if you can't tell.
  8. As an answer to your main question: Yes, but it's not worth it. Get a new computer. I would strongly recommend a Dell with Ubuntu Linux. It's fast, entirely free, and has everything you listed, and of course more. It might take a little bit of getting used to as far as user interfaces go, but after that it's smooth.
  9. DB=Database. Mods=Slang for modifications to the forum software. There's little likelyhood that we'll be able to tell if it's PHPBB2 or 3, I'll investigate myself. Edit: Which site did you make it from?
  10. There must be something more you can do. It'll be months until 2.6.0 comes out.
  11. We would have to help, we would have no choice. If we lost some larger European members, NATO would be severely handicapped and we would a) Look like idiots for standing around, and B) Be pretty much screwed because our defenses would be lowered so much.
  12. Taking over Europe, in my opinion, is out of the Russian's reach. I can't imagine a single European country joining them. And remember, Europe has nuclear capabilities too. If Russia attacked the US all hell would break loose, to put it lightly. Europe would side with the west, and it would, without a doubt start WWIII.
  13. Is the over-shoulder checking normal though? Or is that because you're checking for any potential assassin or whatever.
  14. You look straight ahead? Here everyone looks at their feet. It's really confusing going home again. :P
  15. 10/10, for like the 5th time in a row.
  16. Just perfect. If they bomb St. Petersburg I'm screwed. Along with every other Finnish TIFer and the obvious everyone who lives within 700 miles of any attack. As someone said before, 1% of the general population fights and the other 99% suffers big time.
  17. I'm running Dreamlinux on top of Windows right now so I can use both at once. That's another good thing, Apple won't let you do that with OS X. And Darwin is hard as hell to get to function properly on top of Windows.
  18. You know, you could add some Javascript so that it installs automatically, like on the official firefox addons site.
  19. dsavi replied to sirgudi's topic in Off-Topic
Actually, I'm just fine with that. (All the more for me)
  20. Once it happens, I am quite sure that you will think otherwise.
  21. I suppose if you had the raw, uncompressed Windows movie maker file (Which keeps the source files) it would basically do what the OP wants.
  22. Good luck. I've been working at it for 7 years.
  23. I might do one today, I'll have to see how much time I have. On a side note, did anyone notice, yesterday GIMP 2.4.7 was released. They don't have binary packages or Windows installers yet, so you'll have to wait a few days for it unless you want to build it from the tarball. I have another Linux installation that I've decided to see if I can compile GIMP 2.5.3 (Newest release that came out a few hours ago) to test out the new stuff.
  24. 10/10. I seem to know most people these days.
  25. Read before you post.
