You should get back into 'shopping.

C/C on art in the GIMP please
Yes, anatomy is extremely important. By the way, do you use a tablet? Using that in combination with pressure sensitivity settings (Like changing the opacity or the value/luminosity) would really, really help. I would suggest Wacom, it is generally accepted as the standard.

Your favorite Off-Topic threads ever?
...True. I remember some pretty sick copypasta though, specifically on one thread. People don't think about what they're ctrl+v ing, it's too simple just to let it go and think about how other users/mods will react later. That's why the new Funny pictures thread will not work.

<-Shared shop-> Want a sig? Fill out the form.
I think he means something like that hawt renderless smudge tag TIA made when he came back to the gallery a few months ago. I'll try to find a link. Those are really hawt if you pull it off right, it's also quite difficult.

Background color isn't the same?
DVD, no. Cookies are incapable of harming anyone. The worst they can do is see that you've been on two different websites with the same advertiser, if they're even configured to do that. Set all cookies to "Allow", the only exceptions should be any that are added by something like Adblock plus. If you switched computers or browsers between logons, that could be the reason.

Main Forum Page Clutter (Moderator lists)
People would confuse that with the forum jumper. Another vote here for leave the mod list there when you are viewing the forum, take the mod list off the index. I have showed how already.

First attempt at vectors, plus some other stuff.
I'm assuming he used Illustrator or Inkscape. I love them! IMO they're great for firsts. I think taking the watermark off is fine if you keep the size below 800 by X pixels. To be honest though, they look unfinished. They need more details, otherwise the just look way too flat. For example, make the sunglasses shiny, give the skin/hair/lips more contrast. Edit: I really said contrast? I meant texture.

2012: The Year the Internet Ends
It's not the first time it has been posted, but it is a threat and IMO shouldn't be forgotten.

What is that good about Linux?
I agree with what Jaziek said, on most stuff. There are some people that are that radical, but maybe not as many as you made out. And terminals aren't scary, it doesn't take long to learn and anyway, the commands make sense if you think about them. Also, I agree totally with bfr. Linux is one of the great undiscovered OSes. Speaking of that, has anyone here heard of Darwin? And I don't mean the awards. It's something very unknown even though maybe >5% of all computer users use it regularly. Right now I'm working on installing it on top of Windows.

Seriously, help what? There isn't a problem, IMO.

The Offical TIF American Elections thread
It is entirely possible, if they did it the way Finland does it. I don't know the way Obama is wanting to do it, though.

Your favorite Off-Topic threads ever?
Yes. I like the "Worst thing you got caught doing at school" thread, although now that I've read through it it's a bit old. The funny pictures thread would have been good if it didn't spiral out of control and wasn't copypasta from 4chan. Ever caught them was just sick sometimes, and definitely not suitable for a PG-13 forum. I'm surprised that the staff didn't do something about both of those it earlier. There is no chance of a thread resurrection/repost being allowed by the admins for either of them.

Signature Request!
We can't always respond very fast, but our shop is currently active so you can be guaranteed some sort of service eventually if you fill out the form. Which you did, but the key is to wait. I was planning on doing it today, unfortunately circumstances beyond my control prevented me from being able to respond before you created this thread. I could still do it for you if you want though, can't expect you to know the entire situation I explained above. :)

The Offical TIF American Elections thread
Or vote for McCain. He'll continue to mess everything up from the start, and refuse to leave.

Screwy Computer after visiting Site
I haven't been to ED myself for a long time, but last time I tried I saw that they might be closing down. Are you sure that it's actually ED you're visiting and not someone who stole the domain name after they shut down?

Your guide to posting in Off-Topic!
It was issued to him by the Admins for use while cleaning the crap out of OT.

Ain't broke, don't fix. There isn't enough activity for a subforum anyway.

Contests & Battles Point System + Suggestions - Locked
You know what would be awesome? A Gallery IRC channel, if there isn't some private gallery chat I just don't know about already.

Socialist workers party, maybe? Stupid flood limit.

Subconcsious: Actions of Attraction.
@ the latest imitation speculation: o.0 I somehow don't think so. Psychology is interesting, now that I think of it, but it's not generally something I get involved with.

The Offical TIF American Elections thread
I decided not to make another thread, couldn't be bothered and don't have the poll permissions anyway. Obama for president. Oh wait, the Boston Tea party has a candidate! Woo!

My Birthday...
Ouch, not a way to celebrate a birthday. Some people just don't think about others. Good luck.

Parental Controls, are you cursed by them?
Parental controls is one of the top reasons for me buying my own computer. I hate them.

An Avatar Thingy for Editorial Writers
I didn't know there was an Editorial panel, let alone that they have a private board. :uhh: I'm a bit behind, it seems. So this thing would say something like "Editorial Panel Member" on it, with some design to make it look cool?

Photo manips are fun, we don't officially do that, but then no other shop does that either. Ask away.
