  1. Well, Halo demo is very decent seeing as it's free.
  2. Who really cares about good games at launch? It's got gears of war, GOW2, halo 3, and chromehounds, and it was released worldwide in 2005 or 06.
  3. My fave is doing slayer, teaming up with someone and then when they arn't looking bsing. Not really a custom game... But fun.
  4. Before answering, you should think. Is there a game that actually has a point? No, I mean I'm a big picture person. And in the long run, games are really not going to matter.
  5. .ogg is not a video file. It's an audio file. Wikipedia it. Oh yeah, and if you want to play it, I think there are some instructions there. The download is safe, I've tried it.
  6. dsavi replied to rik's topic in Tech and Computers
It means: This page can not be It could be that: *your computer is not conected properly *The website is having problems *you may have mistyped the adress. Basicly, it's a error 404.
  7. You can't play against eachother. Mac and Windows use a completely different type of coding that makes it impossible to do that. BTW, Halo (even the demo version) for mac is ownage.
  8. I haven't really used it that much, but I like it. Maybe because I'm a 'Alll Things Microsoft' kind of person, or because it completely rivals Mac's We-Actually-Have-A-Sense-Of-Graphical-Layout-and-Design idea. Anyway, if you get home basic, you get nothing with. Just look on the back of the box. BTW, I wasn't around when XP was released. Neither was forum.tip.it. What did people say about it? It would be interesting to compare what they said while coparing Windows 2k with XP with what we are saying now...
  9. If I could I would give 1/2 vote to both X360 and Wii. Sorry Sony fans, but I think Playstation has had it's turn. Now that Microsoft and Nintendo have come up with consoles that are (unfortunately for Sony) superior to what Sony came out with- a lot earlier than the others, I may mention- I think Sony loses this episode of Console Wars. Microsoft came out early with a powerful, much anticipated, mid-range console, while Nintendo came up with something that was completely unexpected in a good way and on top of that low-priced, and Sony comes with a 'me too' console with the only advances in technology and gameplay being Blu-Ray, 7 cores, and better graphics, and on top of that, extremely late as well as expensive. I never have been completely on any company's side, and the PS2 was a great work of technology and innovation.
  10. No, it isn't the same thing. It's worse. It looks like a piece of junk to me, and homebrew is awesome on my PSP and iPod. And, as someone mentioned before, it's hardware...not software. Ok, PSP, but iPod?! I think I may have heard of something like that before, but I think it was faked. As some people said, you could do a lot of h4xing on this.
  11. Is this program also for windows? Oh, speaking of windows, there's a really awesome free stickfigure animator for windows called pivot. Google it if you want it, I can never find a reliable link that works more than once.
  12. He probably finalized it. Then it can't be changed. Ask him.
  13. Okay, I'm not sure about this, but maybe your computer slipped somehow into easy-view, high contrast mode? If you go to properties->view there's an opton for visually impared people to put the taskbar -and icons- into high contrast so that they're easier to see. Also, maybe your graphics accelerator is messed up? I'm no expert on this kind of thing :) , but it might just be it.
  14. 17 views, 0 posts... doesn't look like anyone does.
  15. Supports. But a newcomer using the term 'social outcast' is unrealistic. But we get the point. : D
  16. (Please note that I have never been a member) Isn't that that staff that's as good as a rune long when you put an obelisk on it? I support you.
  17. Ok, I did'nt get this idea without help. I got the idea from the topic 'A new movement system would be nice'. Someone posted that if you pressed enter before chatting you could use w,a,s and d to move. Somehow, out of the blue, I got the idea that this would stop*every chat-bot in the world made for Runescape temporarily until it was reprogrammed.* If you don't get it, chat-bots put text into every chat program you have open. Yes, this means MSN messenger and Google talk. (my friend uses it- not me :D) And that's because when you press enter, it enters the message. Having the user put enter before and after will bug up the program, because it has'nt been programmed to do that. I will add more later- I don't have any more time. Edit: Another thing is that they could randomly switch between pressing enter to talk and not pressing enter before chatting. This is probably not a good idea but please discuss.
  18. RS3?? Lol. Do you haove any idea how much stuff they have put in RS2? It would take them at least 5 or 6 years.
  19. NO. NO. NO. As someone else said; n00bs= free xp.
  20. I think it sounds pretty cool, actually. It would get people to play in members more and that's what Jagex wants. You know, if we spam the forums enough they might just do it...
  21. I don't get you people who use opera and IE7... FireFox owns.
  22. Firefix owns. IE sucks. You couldn't put it simpler.
  23. [insert large image of a hitatchi supercomp/server that takes half the forum.tip.it bandwidth here] 750 terrabyte RAM, 1000̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâòÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâó GHz processer, all the works. WTF are you serious that you use a server? I really hope you're joking... if you owned that machine that would be cool. (read the post below) SOMEHOW, I think I'm with you.
