You can already do that with the currency converter on the sidebar...
  2. WOHOO! YEAH! Just got up and looked at TIF, I suppose this is a good morning.
  3. Yeah, there was one other name that was like that, but I can't remember it ATM, I'll have to think about it.
  4. I remember the time I first read pryo's name right. I read it over and over, and thought there was some mysterious bug that switched the letters around.
  5. Awesome. I think everyone participating in this thread should watch Apollo 13 and read 1984.
  6. I too am egerly waiting... Read the title again... [/hide] I wouldn't mind hearing about his (high school) senior prank again. I remember vaguely that he did post it here, just a long time ago at the beginning of the thread. Look closely or do a search, I think.
  7. The one that it said "Interstate speeds" about had a small built-in motor, easy to confuse the two. ;)
  8. Time for the Eee, I think. That thing on windows is capable of GTA SA, I've heard, this will definitely play RS. I'll see if I can find you a link. Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASUS_Eee_PC#Eee_900_Series I've tried the first version of the Eee and I love it. It hooked on to a wireless network in seconds and I was online, and Firefox runs really fast on it. 8-) As for an office suite there's OpenOffice.Org, which is basically MS Office for free. http://eeepc.net/where-to-buy-your-eee-pc-900/ You can find places to buy it from there. May I ask what country you live in? It would be easier to find a place for you to buy it if I knew.
  9. The dsavi part came from my first RS name, Dsavi, which is a mixup of my first name, Davis. I needed something I could remember I suppose. Then Dsavi got hacked (The password was my name) and so I created another account on RS called Dsavi X4. It made sense at the time; Apparently anything with X4 at the end was cool, but hey, I was 9. Eventually I tried to drop the X4, so it became dsavi and that's worked out pretty good.

I have, to be honest I think Gnome makes it look like krap, I've had problems with switching resolutions, but that was with my old screen. Try it though, you can always uninstall it.
  12. I had it, but I uninstalled it because it slowed down my computer at startup and took up too much CPU. *Runs*

I mean sure, we get what you mean, but what is there to comment really?
  14. Do people even use Linux? Lol @ unawareness. Have you ever even seen Linux, let alone tried it? I know that at least 50 million people rely on it. And by the way, what the heck is a pc? Is it a computer running Mac os X? Windows? Opensolaris? BSD? They never define it.

My brother from another mother tells me that's suspiciously small.

Tell your friend not to lose heart, and post, uhh, send you lots of screenshots! And tell him too that build 6933 is the latest version, that's the one he should look for.

Sounds interesting, I'm interested particularly in what your "Friend" thinks of the new UI. :)
  18. It's not called corruption, it's just plain inadequacy.
