  1. Rule 1: Don't listen to irulepoker. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Deloria, back me up on this please? Rule 2: Hang out with your friends a little more. Have more "dates" with your friends, such as a movie or a trip to the mall. Rule 3: If you've learned anything here, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER try to be someone you're not. Don't get "trendy" or whatever the hell irulepoker said, it's a load of BS. If you don't be yourself, then who are you? Rule 4: Your friends can do a lot for you. Talk to them about your problems. They'll listen. Hoping you feel better, ~Rushrock

Well, when I was reading some of the posts, there came up the subject of homework and tests. While they don't really act as a friendly learning enviroment, they actually help. For me, I can remember things quite well once I've written papers and taken notes for hours on end... I don't want to sound wrong in any way possible, but my school is fairly rich. We have many choices to choose from, and most of the teachers know what they're doing. They can be strict, but they're "real". In fact, one of my teachers keeps bringing up the idea of "tax payer's dollars being wasted" when we talk out. :XD: I think my school is pretty well out, but I do think that they should add some new classes, like Viktor suggested. They would be pretty useful, and to those who have poorer schools, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, I agree with you. A specific class would be perfect, but I think the schools just think that the parents will take care of teaching their children that subject.
  6. Why exactly? Because he is "1337" and everyone tells him it is "1337" to hate the USA. Pretty much.. It's nice of people to make such comments without backing them up, isn't it? I'm American and I'm nowhere near suicidal. Sure the U.S. has made some bad decisions, but would you really kill yourself if you lived here? Oh do we really have to get in this? I am sure he has reasons he does not like the U.S. You should not assume that it's just because it is the "trend". He is not going to actually kill himself. Haha, you believed he was serious? He was probably exaggerating. Erm...Duh?
  7. your missing out on the great stores like express/hollister/a&f/AE/RL... tsk tsk..and going to small town boutiques with unique clothing is always fun I hate all of those stores and their overpriced [wagon] showers!!! What rushrock wrote (You messed up the quote bar.): I believe he was being sarcastic.
  8. My friend and his dad plays it, and they tell me it's very fun. Maybe I should try it. :
  9. I do agree with you, except in my school we wore a strict uniform, luckily we didn't have to wear ties but it was a shirt, jumper and kilt (yes, I went to a Girls School). It didn't stop people from forming groups on what you wore, the short skirts and stockings people, the skirts down to the floor with wooly tights. Hairstyles were oh so important as well. Couldn't have your hair in the same style twice in a row Oh God No. Of course that isn't bad, but regardless of uniform (in my school at least), the dressing malarkey still found it's way to the pinnacle of everyone's attention. That's girl's schools though I guess. If my school took up uniforms, I'd have to kill myself. :uhh:
  10. Who knows how old I am, then? I don't! :)
  11. Heh, I played Tetris so much over the summer that during the first few weeks of school I spent most of my time matching up Tetris blocks in my head rather than paying attention :P I know someone who used to play his Gameboy during class while we were sitting on the floor...:XD: ....why were you on the floor? Erm...I think learning about something.
