  1. I did it with 53. I failed so many times using Summer Pies but i did it in the end. I finished it last week actually :P
  2. Blackjacking. Check General Guides on this forum and my guide is near the top.
  3. This whole game is based on skilling, killing and making money so if you find them all boring, then yeah, maybe it is time to quit :@
  4. Well i would really urge you to go for it. I got so many useful quests unlocked getting them and although i hate questing, it was so worth it. The jump from Dragon to Barrows is excellent, +3 strenght bonus alone on Dragon. If you need to wait for tassies, in four hours you could easily get about 25 qps ;) So yeah, im gonna stop pressing on the whole 'get barrow gloves' idea and i'd just do what you want. Try out a few methods and track your xp then see which works best.
  5. If you have 32m why not buy tassies? They have a good defence and a strength bonus. As for ROL i seriously doubt you'll be in risk of dieing, unless you intend to stay away from your pc for hours on end. Use a zerker ring or warrior ring atleast. If you have the money you'll want to be going for max melee boosting gear... As for barrows gloves, if you really insist on not getting them now, then you never will, so buy a regen bracelet like was already suggested. Also, how are you going to be healing? Running to and from the bank every hour?
  6. I find myself facing this same question all the time - but i just find something else to do. On my latest account, as i got bored of old ones and made new ones, i've finally told myself if i get bored of this account then i will quit all together. So i set myself mini-goals, like finishing DT before 40 Cb, getting Addy gloves before 43 cb, finishing RFD at 65 cb etc etc... Then after i did all this i went and got full void, and now im getting a rune defender, before completing Kings Ransom, and so forth. I try to mix up what i do so i dont feel like im grinding anything and that way i keep myself interested. If you serisouly cant find anything to do in RS, then maybe it is time to quit. In all honesty there is so much to do, provided you have balanced skills and melees, i cant see how anyone would think there is nothing to do :|
  7. It is possible to dual log on two different worlds but on the same PC. If you have a computer and pc with wireless internet or a ethernet cable it is possible to log into the same world but from the two computers... And stop with the nonsense about the two ip's... Ip adressess are based on post code. Im pretty sure one person does not have an entirely unique, and that your neighbour has the same one.
  8. I got Barrows Gloves in three weeks on my pure at 66 cb... It was really the best decision i ever did. They're amazing, and even though i know have void, i still use the gloves over void for most tasks... If i can get them without even 43 pray and terrible stats (meaning i have to do the long quests and not the terrible easy quests when you have like 10 hunter) im sure you can...
  9. I just completed the Melee set and i love it, its very efficient and you actually make money and xp from it, then get free armour (less opportunity cost but i cba to argue with people over that)... Im definitely going to get the Ranger helmet after. In 850 points on a PC world, min boat, i lost twice.
  10. Check ALL the bookcases, there's loads of em and its random which one it appears on. You need it from the Digsite NOT the house in seers, as you do in Ele Workshop part 1... So stop posting to tell him its there. :x I did the quest about 4 days ago and like you lost the book. So i went back to the Digsite and got a new one. Although im not sure if i was as far into it as you, but im pretty sure you should still be able to get it.
  11. Take bones to peaches tabs if you cant afford guthans to heal. You need to pay a little attention to get the bones, but it saves banking. Take cb pots too, no need to waste money on super sets if you're camping.
  12. If you string the bows only from 70, its 150k (U) bows to 99, which is about 11m profit. I took that from estimates i made about 3 days ago using ge prices.
  13. He could just kill the mosquitos himself... What ever happened to get things for yourself? :?
  14. Hm, last night someone said how his hatchet lost 33% of its charge from only one invent of maples... Seems to be terrible :|
  15. Back when i used to merchant rares back in Falador years ago, i'd be attempted scammed about 60 times in an hour... It was never really that hard to get scammed to be honest, unless you simply cant read :|
  16. Awesome. 80m on Summon and Pray... To level 80? 8/10 overall. :D
  17. Yes, exactly. It isn't possible to get three in, ever... Although you might have enough time to click the pickpockets, your character does not.
  18. Duke Freedom has to be up there with the rest.
  19. It depends on what you intend to make. How i often cofigure my summon levels is to use the Tip.It Fansite Calculator and enter the level needed for each new summoning familar i can create (minus a few like Mosqiuto for example or any other hard to find materials) and then less the amount of charms from my stack, and then continue. For example, 19-25 is 200 golds, then 25-28 is another 200 etc... etc... Then if you keep using the best possible familar to summon your charms will eventually run out and you'll have a level. Try it out, its probably the most accurate method as at only 19 summon your familar choice will chance frequently.
  20. I'd keep DFS, get a Torso and buy Dragonlegs, then just keep the excess. Then again, it depends on what you're killing.
  21. I've figured on the lowest boat in a Pc world (not a clan) its 2mins a game roughly so about 900 minutes for the full set. Which is 15 hours or so. On pc worlds the med boat will win every 10 games or so. :|
  22. Goodjob! 9/10 :) To be honest, any item effected by the shop changes should rise, but make sure you sell before an update incase they try to fix it :P
  23. I remember reading somewhere its 1 Crimson for every 3-4 Barrages, so about 35k Barrages? Double check that, but im sure thats what it said.
  24. Nothing really turns my head in Runescape, other then people who can actually say they enjoy Runescape... Im not impressed by people who have high levels, unless they've actually enjoyed getting them. When you see the same person doing the same thing for hours a day, sometimes when you log off and 10 hours later the same guy is Rc'ing for example without a break, theres nothing special about that... It just proves you lack the real joys in life. Theres no deying we've all sat at your computers on our days off for hours on end playing Runescape, but grinding proves nothing other than you need to get out the house.
  25. Erm, Green D Hide Bodies, but im not sure on the loss. To be honest, i dont think theres anything in members you can buy in the GE and alch for a 50gp loss, so there will definitely be nothing in f2p. :-#
