I assume you're talking about the use of ancient magik. That has been around for years, and was only mildly improved by the use of extreme potions, of which they killed in PvP shortly after. I saw the new update as a chance to finally improve modern mage (of which i deem the spell book most useful), however, from the sounds of it, the new surge spells are still far weaker than ancients. Albeit they're cheaper and could be useful in some situations, for example at Metal Dragons, but considering the level required, and the far better/more economical alternatives at places such as barrows (salamander/slayer dart) and even chaos gauntlets at metals, its a pretty appauling update. They're not useful in pvp unless you're for some odd reason using teleblock and a magic damage spell ;|

Well basically it was the lowest number so I thought it would be the easiest. I guess I was wrong :( Thanks for the tip though I think I'll try to get crimson and green or gold instead. Unfortunately they're also the least common charm drop. People will rarely go to hunt for blue charms, unless at high levels they need them for certain familiars.

The time taken to get 23 blues charms, you could easily get enough gold/crims for the level you need. However, i see you're 65 slayer so i'd suggest Dust Devils. They drop gold/green/crim which will all help. May i ask why you specifically need 23 blue charms? Theres few monsters at level 55 worth using blues on.

It took me 4 attempts to get to Jad, two of the times i managed to get to the healers and one of those i had the same problem. I eventually ending up dying trying to move the healers away from Jad, but was to no avail. For the time i actually got it, if you have him at 'italy rock' it is possible to lure all the healers out and into a safespot from Jad and kill them there. Im sure on Muggiwhplars guide on how to get it with a pure he lures them out and kills them all. Try searching for it.

Not anymore. Now, whenever you wield it, and hit/are hit at least one time, it counts as 1 minute. wow that sucks <_< Seems fair in my opinion. It is a pretty awesome spec, so taking 2-3 seconds to spec with it, it'd last 1200 specs which is a pretty immense number considering its use.

If you're talking about depositing iron ore, there's a deposit box in Port Khazard. And if hes talking about mining pure essence, there is indeed a deposit box in Yanille.

Why not use your cash to buy 99 range in p2p? It doesn't take long and you'll be using up money that you wouldn't usually need in f2p.

There's no wrong way to play as long as you're not harming anyone... Depends how you define 'wrong reasons'... I would deem playing when you're clearly trying so hard not to as the wrong reason...

Why fight an addiction? I see nothing wrong with playing Runescape. Hell, im 19 living with my fiancee and getting married next year, yet i still play after about 6-7 failed quit attempts/accounts/years and i've learnt that im never going to quit so its pointless trying when im enjoying it. However, i dont play for wealth, and it appears you do... So maybe you'd be playing again for the wrong reasons. I play as i enjoy talking to my mates while killing some monsters :D

As Far As I Know. AFAIK you shouldn't spam topics... If you dont understand something, either google it or PM the author. As for Ivy, its not been nerfed... It was designed to make Woodcutting more attractive. When you consider how fast the xp for firemaking and cooking are with little effort, they're still 2-3 times more experience than cutting Ivy.

Why not just keep them for novelty value? I mean, you said you wont need the cash, so it seems kinda pointless having a cash pile. 70m isn't enough to invest is the 'big' rares... Although it does seems pointless having two. You could sell one and buy a wep/armour and have some fun with it.

English literacy lessons... Other than that, try using red elegant with Santa, or even the Santa outfit some the Christmas event if you have it. As for ranger boots, Dragon chain/plate and legs looks pretty neat with Obby shield/whip... It all depends how much you're willing to spend.

I know people say, 'Barrows is all about luck', but im coming up to my 100th chest with still no drop and its kinda bugging me. I always get 12 KC (for blood/deaths) and all i see is people about me on their like 5-6th run getting items... Does anyone know the average rate before you get a drop? I mean, im still making a profit from the runes, but 100 chests seems like a long time.

With Dragons, you'll want the best possible magic boost... Atleast infinity, preferably ahrims. The xp isn't great there, i think its about 1k bolts p/h and you will splash quite often. The loss in the short-term may seem higher, however im told in the long run you usually break even.

i just checked...and i still need to do heros, and family crest to start it I did say you needed the sub-quests. That's pretty standard for every quest. Family Crest doesn't take long, same with Heroes.

I completed RFD at 66 cb and have pretty clear knowledge of the gloves :P (im assuming this is what you want) You only need the woodcutting level in order to start and gain access to the area containing the seed you need for the quest. All sub-quests are needed, but you can start the quest regardless of your levels.

I wouldn't agree with buying Torag's. Hes asked about a Fighter Torso, so i'd assume defence bonus isn't a massive issue. I would agree with getting a piece of Bandos, or just a Dragon chain/plate for now would work. It all depends what and where you're using it for.

Inflation is still occuring, just not at sigh high amounts we've been experiencing since 76k. 76k fuelled inflation with masses of cash being dumped into Runescape with little risk, and when Jagex 'killed' 76king, people pancic'd and dumped everything... The prices are slowly moving back up to their original prices, as people realise they're actually no worse off since Jagex updating 76king... So inflation hasn't died out, its just not working at the same previous rates. As long as theres merchants and ridiculous PVP drops from targets risking nothing, then inflation will continue.

In 10 hours, with your levels, you could probably get about 7-8million at Green Dragons (if you're lucky and find an empty world), considering you're unlikely to get a decent team, it'l probably take 13 hours+, which is 10m or so. Add this to whatever cash you have, and you might be able to buy a piece of Bandos, which is much better than a torso. As for Void range, the helmet will be much quicker to get than a torso, and it also much better, especially if you're after 99 range. As for downgrading D Plate, is there any need? Aviansies doesn't cost.

Superheating iron is 130k xp p/h? Is there some new method im missing? I tried it and didn't get anywhere near that.
