  1. Thanks for the speedy responses  It's just that I'm so used to just "stretching" along the fretboard (as said before, I have a immensely larger than average hand dexterity) that between the Stratocaster and the Les Paul, I'm bound to be confused. Ah well, I'm a GH newbie anyways  Thank you A Local Guy, N0M_AN0R, Darkdude and Saidin. (By the way, I just -2 the whole Afterlife song on Rock Band with the STRATOCASTER )
  2. That's the thing, the Stratocaster is not compatible with the GH3 game. However, the GH3 game is compatible with Rock Band #-o I think it has something to do with the spacing on the fret buttons, the buttons on the Stratocaster is much closer than the ones in GH3, and so sometimes I hardly can't reach the orange button yet my hand dexterity is quite large (I can reach 1 and a half octaves on a piano). I probably got adjusted to the Strat from the get-go, so now I'm having trouble even getting 5*s on songs in GH while I can usually breeze through harder songs on Rock Band :wall:
  3. RB is not as charted as much as GH looks like you'll have to get used to it. :| That's not it, it's not about the note chart (I've FC'd the solo in Afterlife). It's something about the controller of GH that makes my wrist and fingers hurt trying to press each button - and it doesn't happen in RB. Still looking for more input about this problem though
  4. You could go DKing with Fire Waves, but you'd have to rely on your luck factor for that. As others have said before using the MTA is a cost efficient way, even netting you profit in the long run. If you're willing to mix in other skills into the equation to allow you fast mage experience then I suggest making money in a short period of time solely for that skill (e.g.: Aviansies) and then going bursting at Rock Lobsters. Just my two cents.
  5. Yeah, the editing is commendable. Sometimes I can't understand what he's saying though #-o Is there any way possible to add lyrics to the video or description? The rap itself is quite short also, it'd be nice if you could extend it to a complete song with several choruses and verses. Still a great job though
  6. Agreed. Make friends because you run into them randomly in the world and because you share common traits, not because you want to be forced into it. The ironic thing is that many of the users here are so privy enough to play with private and public chat off, to be secluded away from the world so they can focus on the game itself. However, friends are good and you'll find that you can't really advertise yourself to find friends - they just happen when you really enjoy the company of one another. I suggest against this. It's all preference, but Forsakenmage's clan chat seems to be revolving around the few regular users who go in there so you may be out casted in a way. I suggest using Tip.It's official chat #runescape on mIRC which can be found here. You're welcome to add me though, my RSN is inf4m0us911. Welcome to tip.it too :P
  7. You can post your screenshots, videos and sounds here: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=776275&start=140 Nice rap otherwise, the mic quality is decent but your voice lacks some enthusiasm...well done though. Welcome to tip.it by the way
  8. Personally I wish they would stop making unwanted graphical updates that upset some of the older players (including myself) It's unneeded, and unsightly to look at after for so long you've gotten accustomed to Runescape's older and rugged graphics. Particularly I'm annoyed by these graphical updates: *When you run with a whip, it's coiled up. *I prefer the way we ran before, not looking like we bounce on heels with excitement *The interface looks far too polished and straight, I preferred the old rugged "ripped map" interface *If Runescape had enough programming power to compress HD Runescape into the game itself, why did they have to drastically decrease the "ice cube" visual on the Ice Barrage spell? Now it looks like a wind bolt and only initially shows the ice cube on the first, freezing hit *The characters don't look human anymore. They look cartoony, and their limbs and heads, feet and hands look swollen and bubbly - it makes our avatars much more childish One can wish though..
  9. Rock Band player reporting in. I just got GH3 because it was mega cheap in my area, and I've been playing Rock Band/Rock Band II as my gateway game into rhythm based musical games. I play expert mode for all instruments minus the vocals (singing voice is absolutely horrid) - so I'm fairly familiar with complex note charts, usually 5*ing on the majority of my expert sightreads. However, when I first picked up GH3 all my notes were missing and i found it uncomfortable to be pushing down the buttons and hit the notes, mainly with the fret buttons my wrist started aching and hurt to reach the end button. Any advice on this?
  10. I had 200 qp at 1100 total tbh :? I have 172 quest points at 110 combat and 1650 total  (And I've been playing since 2003, lol)
  11. Siberian husky and German Sheppard. Especially the dog from I Am Legend which I fell in love with I personally have a husky and a jindo, except most would not know the latter. They both look so awesome and cute :
  12. Merry Christmas to you all! Hope all your wishes came true
  13. YES! My first PK. (This was pre-farming, somewhere around 2004 if I remember correctly) Sigh...I actually miss the days when our characters didn't look like they had something inflating their limbs and heads. There's so many things I miss but I'd rather not start reminiscing, especially on Christmas. I'll post more pictures if I can find any, they're buried deep in my old and outdated (and incredibly slow) computer. By the way, Merry Christmas to all
  14. Stop saying that. You're only doing it so someone will say you name and your ego will be boosted. My favourite Tip.Iter's are as follows: [*:3sei60zq]Tripis - Polite, kind, and is an awesome photographer [*:3sei60zq]MrShinyRedPlanet - Good signature maker, nice and honest person to talk too [*:3sei60zq]Nadril - Honest, and nice [*:3sei60zq]Cup Lion - Nice person in general to talk to There's another two or so that I haven't mentioned, but they already know they are special :twss: Either that or i have almost no self esteem and i have a downward look on society while i feel like i have no friends and depression. I think its the second one. I have made way more enemies then friends. He's right though, you need to have a positive outlook on life instead of looking down yourself constantly. Don't be silly, and I quote from the relationships thread: "Confidence!" Adding on to my favourite Tip.it'er list: pureprayer! He's an individual who's soon going to have more friends than enemies O:) EDIT: You're welcome to PM me if you have any problems about anything
  15. My favourites out there would have to be Ginger_Warrior and BlueLancer. In my eyes they are the most rational men on these forums and can present accuracy and kindness even when refuting your arguments. Their eloquency is top notch, adding a flair of admirable typing connotations while keeping the basis of simplicity, all in all contributing to the friendly atmosphere to this place. Hats off to you two
  16. No way! 50,000 people online! ....I wish you stop using that emote
  17. If you're looking to find the ABSOLUTE FASTEST experience for your skill to get those levels in 3 days well... Prayer: Dagannoth Bones on Guilded Altar Summoning: Infuse the highest monster you can with the charms you have Defence: Train at Zombie Monkeys in Ape Atoll [hide=More reasonable option]Prayer: Dragon Bones on Guilded Altar Summoning: Infuse the highest monster you can with the charms you have Defence: Train at Zombie Monkeys in Ape Atoll[/hide]
  18. To get ranked, you must first actually get a level of 30 in that skill. However, as more players gain that level and compete for rankings you can be pushed off the rankings until you gain enough experience to surpass that last ranked player in amount of experience. So first and foremost you must have a skill level of 30 in that skill. A total of the 2,000,000 people can be ranked in a skill, so look up the 2,000,000th ranking for the skill you want and that is the approximate cut-off value that you must exceed to get into the highscores. Of course this value fluctuates and you will need to exceed that cut-off constantly if you want to remain in the high scores.
  19. I would suggest making bracelets if you are P2P, and necklaces if you are F2P. You would need to play around with the GE for a while, finding the most efficient priced crafting item that you could make. Search the price of Gold Bars, and the gem (Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, etc.) and see which crafting item would provide the least amount of loss. This involves alching, if you have the necessary mage level to do this you could net a fair amount of mage experience while you're at it. Some alternate methods (yet more expensive): *Buy untanned green dragonhides once you hit the required level and to tan them yourselves and to alch/sell on the Grand Exchange *Craft tiaras *Skill lamps/TOG/Random leveling
  20. [img=http://www.draynor.net/stat/glossyblack/male/default/Newcu18.png] First copy the code I have provided, and then proceed to click on the User Control Panel found at the top of the page. On the left side of the page you should see an "Options" panel, click the second option in that drop down menu to get into your Profile section of the UCP. Click "Edit Signature" and paste the code that you have copied from before. Voila!
  21. If you could provide more information that would be helpful. What is your cost range and how much are you willing to spend to get it to 99? Are you expecting a loss or a gain from going to 99? Also providing us with how much you actually have would be useful.
  22. Right beside the backpack interface icon there should be a button to dismiss your familiar. It is the button on the most right of the menu, underneath the hourglass. It should prompt you whether you are sure if you want to perform this action, and if your familiar is carrying any items it will drop them onto the floor for you to pick up. The button you're looking is the button outlined in RED.
  23. Hello there. Normally burying a dragon bone yields 72 experience. It is worth having the burners lit because it provides over 100% experience with both burners lit compared to unlit, which is the same price as a bone. So yes the efficiency of having it lit constantly will pay off the price of any additional bones you would need to buy to make up the deficit when burning. Here's the information your looking for; Normal Burying: 72 experience No burners lit: 180 experience 1 burner lit: 216 experience 2 burners lit: 252 experience Having no burners lit and using any bone on it will yield 250% total experience, 1 burner lit yielding 300% total experience and 2 burners lit yields 350%. Hope this helped you, good luck!
  24. Congratulations...I sure was happy when I finished it! 9/10 :D
  25. [hide=Quotes] That link also says that whips are the same speed as daggers LOL Maybe because Whips are the same speed as daggers? They are?? Haha sorry didn't know that - i'm still a supernoob There must be something wrong with that. If scimitars are the same speed as daggers and by the knowledge base link you pasted says that whips are also the same speed as dagger you're saying that the whip and scimitars are the same speed. Whip speed =/= Scimitar speed. but all 3 are the same speed [/hide] I'm pretty sure that this isn't the case. Saradomin sword is the same speed as the whip, but they aren't the same speed. Of course verifying this wouldn't hurt but I'm most certain in this case :-s
