BEST Aviansie Ranged weapon
Obby Rings/Rune Knives/Dragon Darts are all the most expensive and effective ranged weapon to use, but they're all the most expensive. You didn't include much in your question anyways so I'm going to assume that's what you were asking

What has happened to Tip.it!?
Don't you mean not feeding the trolls? Hopefully... :| Yeah, that's what I meant. Doing Calc and replying to threads leaves people with many half thoughts of (the integral) sec²xdx and an actual response. Anyway, I do agree with what you've said. There was only a handful of people that were friendly back then, and there's only a handful of people that are right now. That hasn't changed too much. Not to mention, when people are posting, we have to weigh the first statement (such as arguments against Slayer or Drops or what have you), and not flame people who just don't understand. Flaming accomplishes nothing, of course. Ahh, it's alright - I understand the side effects of calc all too well  Slightly off-topic here, but what happened to your avatar of Hitsugaya? You remind me of Bleach everytime I see your posts, and for me (bleach = happiness) ... have you been reading the latest mangas? It's completely

Time Travel, Possible or Not?
If time travel would be possible in the future, why hasn't our future selves presented themselves to us by now?

What has happened to Tip.it!?
Don't you mean not feeding the trolls? Hopefully... :| You're going to encounter that in every forum whether you like it or not. It's up to you whether you decide just to ignore it or to actually let it get to you. From my personal recollection, the community has always been the same. Perhaps that's just me, but at (almost) 6 years here I don't see that drastic of a change. As the most popular RS fansite out there, it's going to receiving some negative traffic unfortunately. It looks like you're on your own here in terms of opinion. Just because a select few here want to create a bad experience doesn't mean that the majority here overall are a friendly bunch. There wasn't really a time when everyone was "helpful, kind and a positive influence on the community". That only applied to a select few back then, and a select few even now. The size of the community has always been tremendous, and once in a while you're going to get some troll-ish comments but you musn't let that deter you. As I said before, one does not represent the mass. So I'm going to have to disagree with you since the "old tip.it" to me is still the exact same even today. I agree. ~infam0us911, Tip.it user

I don't know where you're pulling your statistics from gorgoth but I can most definitely say without hesitation that tanking yields far better profits than using prayer potions.

5 years of runescape 2.
I'd much rather have the gameplay and graphics from 5 years ago than today personally. Nonetheless I'm going to have to wish RS a happy birthday.

27.1k arma kc in 1 trip, 99 Ranged! Finally done.
He killed them just outside of the boss lair, so no sara item required :P Amazing achievement, I plan to do this if/when I come back. I'm actually around the same range level as when you started (except slightly higher). Approximately how much time did this take you to accomplish? 10/10.

I know a lot of people have this
just because alot of people have it, doesn't make the achievment any worse. OT :- 9/10 congrats :D Would you say the same for cooking or fletching? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OT: Grats, 7/10 (only because I don't like str, : ) Congrats though. This is one of the things which has been bothering me the most. What does it matter that 100,000 people achieved the same thing, if one achieves it but many people has done before does it dilute the achievement anymore than it is? Think about it. Over time more and more people will achieve the same things, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still a grueling and awesome achievement. Say in 50 years, there will be about 30,000 people with maxed total level. Because 29,999 people achieved it does it make the achievement worth any less? No.

Guitar Hero/Rock Band Discussion thread
I'm not really familiar with the online system of the PSN, but I'd guess it's fairly similar to the way Xbox Live works. Try searching some YouTube tutorials on it, and then you'd be set from there. If you're talking about GETTING access to the actually online play, for PSN it's free so you won't worry about having to pay a monthly free. Again, YouTube is your friend again lol. Back on the topic of the TTFAF intro, I don't know if it's just me but I find elbow strumming to be really inconsistent and unreliable at times. It's incredibly easy to hit the first note of the hammer-on sequence (the red note) with your right hand and then the yellow note with your middle finger and then bring up your strumming arm and then tap the subsequent notes. If you've been elbow strumming all along, then obviously it's going to be best for you, but hey whatever what works right? On a really random note, I've got technical FC'd around 40-50% of TTFAF soon...I'm working on it like crazy. Oh yeah, and I can do the TTFAF intro + post insanity 1+2 without looking!

Does wearing pink make you gay?
You better be trolling. Cute comment, made me laugh  Why would wearing a certain colour make you look gay? I wear pink pretty often, and I'm a guy...and I'm definitely not gay (I think) :P

Guitar Hero/Rock Band Discussion thread
I don't think PS2 has online play. 360/PS3 has it though Yep, and you can download a limited number of songs for Wii. About the TTFAF discussion up there. I highly suggest going against "chicken strumming" as I call it. I've tried it when I was learning the intro to TTFAF and boy, it wasn't easy. Like Saidin said, keep your index finger HELD DOWN at all times during the intro (hold it during post insanity too) and then when you see the first note, strum with your right hand then immediately bring your right hand to help your left hand and start tapping. You should be able to commence the first string of notes, allowing the hammer-ons to be hit, and you can hit the first two notes in the hammer-on sequence, red and yellow and then get your right hand to tap the higher frets. The key is you need to get REALLY familiar with your guitar peripheral to know the exact positions of the buttons because once you have to start watching the note highway, you really can't be looking down at your guitar anymore. Another tip is that if you want to do good and become consistent with the intro is to start the slowest, and gradually work your way up. Oh yeah, and I forgot to say when they mean "tap", they really mean tap. The taps on the buttons should be really quick, or you can break your combo and you'll end up having to strum again. Good luck to the future people attempting TTFAF. P.S. My new high on that song is 602k.

How to make Broad bolts?
Unless the price trend has changed, then it's definitely more expensive to buy the materials and make the broad bolts. You can get some pretty hefty EXP from making them, so if you just want to buy the ammo to consume then buying the broad bolts directly would be the best option.
