  1. Jagex often and regularly IP bans goldfarmers when they existed and if they still do exist, use it as a measure to try and prevent them. However you'll notice as people become more and more tech savvy they'll find ways to circumvent it, so it isn't exactly the best method of preventing rule breakers. It really isn't a huge deal but yes, to answer your question they do hand out IP bans after someone regularly breaks the rules. I don't think they would IP ban Durial321 or the person who duped party hats in RSC. There's no need to IP ban someone if an exploit has been found, since it's already been fixed and the likeliness of a person like Durial finding another weakness in the code to severely exploit the game is low. If I recall correctly there's been numerous talks about Durial having a secondary account, and that's where he plays on in secrecy... without the rule breaking of course. However as I said before it's easy to circumvent to IP ban and to get playing again. By the way, there's no way to "hack" Runescape. Just people who can exploit the game to find weaknesses in the code. And even then as we've all said before IP banning is not a permanent measure to stop these rule breakers.
  2. I just picked up F.E.A.R. II and Guitar Hero: Metallica recently, but only got to playing F.E.A.R II so far, it's a tight game. As for the DS, I picked up a cheap copy of Elite Beat Agents, gonna try that tomorrow and hope it's worth my money :P

Food, and lots of it. I love most types of food (specifically comfort) and I just can't live without it! ...Literally :uhh: By the way, I'm 140 pounds and 5 feet and 8 inches...so no fat jokes here (maybe in spirit )
  4. Some users can specify (like me ) whether or not they want to be listed online or offline even though their actually online...so the more convenient way would just to click "profile" under the user's post.

If you want experience all the way, power mining (I'll assume you know what this is) granite/iron would be the way to go. If you want money all the way, mining coal/metal rocks (mith, addy, rune...) would be the way. If you would want a combination of both, then mining iron and then banking it and/or coal would be decent cash and experience flow. However you'd be sacrificing a little of one for another.
  6. Not only has there been a recent withdrawal of admins, but I'm sure they wouldn't have given the status to the newest two admins had it not been warranted and well deserved. Congratulations to you N_Odie.
  7. Maybe an Iron and Steel platebody if you're going to smith iron and steel bars? :P
  8. They're not so bad, are you sure you are wearing dragon hide when slaying them? And yeah, I think at your level you're fine to move on to Chaelder.
  9. I think I've got the answer. I speck of ink on a piece of paper. And I'm not talking about a large piece of paper, a piece of paper as large as the speck of ink, thereby making it a physical object.
  10. If you're just looking for raw experience without worrying about the costs, then ape atoll would 100% be the place to waste your money. An ideal outfit for this would most likely consist of this: Helmet: Farseer Helm *doesn't degrade, same bonus as Ahrim hood Body: Ahrim Robetop *can be interchangeable with magic robe of your choice Legs: Ahrim Robes *can be interchangeable with magic robe of your choice Boots: Mystic Boots Shield: Unholy Book *magic & prayer bonus Weapon: Ancient Staff *autocast Ancient Magicks Amulet: Fury *can be replaced with amulet of glory Ring: Seers Ring *can be replaced with lunar ring/beacon ring
  11. As people have said before, it'd really depend on your situation. Personally, I'd suggest one set of solid non-degradable armour such as rune platelegs and fighter torso for everyday use and a set of barrow armour platelegs/platechest when the need really arises. I suggest getting a Dharok Platebody (highest defence for the cheapest price last time I checked) and Verac Plateskirt (it has the same bonus as Dharok and Torag and is slightly more expensive, however the prayer bonus is really nifty).
  12. Guthans is still effective in say, the Fight Caves, right? Not really, most people doing the caves realize the hassle and costs of bringing Guthans into the fight caves. Most people would just continually range with a huge prayer bonus anyways, and it would still be far cheaper than using guthans. (Prayer potions + Broad bolt & Rune C'bow method is really inexpensive and gets the job well done)
  13. Found out about it while surfing some arcade site in 2003, when I supposed to be doing my homework. I regret doing my homework now, could've done way more productive things with my life :?
  14. You have to remember Facebook is not going to be a legitimate medium where we found out ground breaking questions, rather they're using it for more publicity.
  15. I frequent 4chan occasionally, but as you can see I haven't lost all sanity and control over myself just yet :P 4chan is a good place if you know how to use it appropriately though, I've found some of my best wallpapers there and /r/ is really helpful at times. I just don't like all the people shunning it and calling it the toilet of the internet, it just has some of the darker humour of the internet...that's all :?
  16. As you all know, Jagex doesn't have the cleanest record for banning with complete concrete evidence... remember Snake Slavik or Slava? I'm not sure of his exact name, but he was the first to 99 range. Jagex mistook his translator as a blacklisted 3rd party program and then banned him, then he went directly to Jagex HQ in the UK with his computer to prove his innocence  So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised that they would be making mistakes now, even after their so-called "improved macro detection technique" I've heard of some cases were people were getting banned because of using "macros" when they are running other 3rd party programs which Jagex might mistake as auto control programs. There's been some recent cases too about this, you might want to appeal it... that is if you really weren't using any macro programs.
  17. It's completely opinionated, but some would argue that one of the hardest (in terms of length, annoyance and difficulty) is the whole Ardougne series (Underground Pass -> Mourning's End Part II). One Small Favour also gives those quests a run for their money
  18. Another good method to kill Ahrim I found is to use Rune Arrows and a Magic Shortbow. You usually can pick 'em off fire giant slayer tasks and they hit hard and fast.
  19. I'm not self-sufficient. Even before the introduction of the GE, I would always stand around World 1/2 looking for supplies, and I would buy them at any ridiculous price... (Rune arrows for 600 gp each when I wanted to go PK'ing) I would say it's kind of like a double edged sword...I get my things quickly, but it burns a hole through my virtual wallet :(
  20. I think I'm safe to say that one thing I could NEVER get into is the Twilight series. I mean I don't shiver when I think about it, I'm just never going to read it, or attempt to read it. The concept of it is ridiculous (no offense meant to all the Twilight fans out there, sorry! :P)

This one takes the cake: ?_?
  22. Cannon by Bach if im not mistaken. Might wanna check it on YT, though youll find loads of guitar covers :P Very nice guide, AOW anyone? \ Not sure if anyone has said this, but Canon was not made by Bach! It was composed by Johan Pachelbel, thus it's called Pachelbel Canon :D
  23. As I've said before in many graphical and aesthetic updates made to the game, they're not needed. Why change something when it isn't broken? I feel like I'm playing in some cheesy game now with the way the character moves and the shiny and rounded interface. I really don't know what to say, I'm just unhappy with all the unneeded updates they're making that makes their game look way too "kid"-ish, you can call it.
  24. You have 2 feet, and spiders have 8 feet. Thus you are 6 feet away. That's all.
  25. Hey  I didn't know any other TIF'ers lived in Toronto, I do too by the way! But yeah, you can tell people here don't know the actual situation going down in Toronto. I'm all for peaceful protests and actually encourage the awareness of such atrocities, but when it when it clogs up the whole Gardiner expressway with their protests and blocking the transit lines then that's going way too far. Their "campaign" has become nothing more than a nuisance to me, although I initially supported it. They could have chosen an alternate method to show their concern and speak their voice. However, they chose the wrong route. :|
