  1. I had 1.4k slayer points, let's go try and cancel tasks for Ice Wyrms. Now I have Skeletal Wyverns with 22 points. Didn't get a single Ice task. Feels bad man.
  2. This. Also personally I'd use a Guthan plate out all of them since it's the cheapest and it has practically the same stats as torag and dharok minus a few varying points here and there..

Uhh what? Javelins are awful. Wait, what again? All weapons are good? Lol, you better trolling - no one can be this stupid.
  4. 70 prayer is only recommended, not required.
  5. Yes there is a method to increase your overall exp/hour while smithing stuff on an anvil. Here's the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqL1GeSQ1ew
  6. Hey there Chuz, There a couple options you can take to pay with your debit card. You can link your debit card checking or savings accounts to a Paypal account, and then pay membership VIA PayPal. I've done it a couple times. Another method you can take are buying gift credit cards with your debit card, which are buyable at many locations, then using that gift credit card as if it were a credit card on the Runescape website. Yet another method is buying Runescape cards, which are available at certain Universities and *maybe* some stores, not sure. I go to the University of Toronto and they have some there, which means I also live in Ontario  Hope that shed some light, if you need any more information or help feel free to reply, I've gotten membership through all the aforementioned routes ;)
  7. There you go  Those are terrible estimates. Nearly every one of them is wrong.
  8. I agree, Nomad was VERY easy. His attacks are quite static in terms of damage and not to mention very predictable.. I don't know why everyone considers him a hard boss/quest boss.
  9. So basically, F2P should have green dragons because they could be killed? Got any other amazing reasons why this would be a good idea? I'm for the most part anti-F2P but I'd agree to give green dragons (including dragon bones AND hides) to the F2Pers. Even though a mod stated that they're not going to make F2Pers resource gatherers for P2Pers I'd completely love that. Dragon Bones are hella expensive and it'd be nice to have the price lowered via lots of F2P mules. Lol.
  10. I agree with the others on how it's completely random. I was a few K from an level so I decided to kill Skeletons in the Chaos Tunnels, and got a random champion scroll within 10 kills <_< It's not a myth though, and I'm sure you'll eventually get one ^_^

I'm sorry that you're awful at the game that you can't efficiently use your time - you don't need to play much at all to have skill capes.

Rune platebody - 70k Rune platelegs - 50k Rune kiteshield - 50k Rune full helm - 20k Rune gloves - 170k Rune scimitar - 35k Rune 2h - 50k Total risked: 450k for basic rune, more for trimmed or god armour. They do work the same way - there's less people training in a PvP world. They are a little different in the fact that a P2P world has about 5x the area to spread people out, so you're even less likely to see someone. Also, if you're risking 10s of millions while monster hunting, couldn't you spare 1k for a teleport out of there? Whenever you see a white dot on the minimap, get out? If I can spend 3 hours training at moss giants in F2P, not seeing anyone during peak times, shouldn't you be able to do the same? Also, getting away in members should be easier as long as the area isn't multicombat, let the monster attack you, or lure it to your opponent. I do that with hobgoblins all the time while mining adamant; me, a lowly level 94 with 51 defense versus maxed 126's, and they can't touch me because they've got a monster on them every second. Other worlds you might want to look into include quickchat worlds. -Okay so it's 450k for gear that you wouldn't normally bring into a PvP world (really, God Armour?) P2Pers risk way more than F2Pers. End of. -People hunt for other people where areas tend to be packed on normal worlds, say chins -Pretty sure anyone who monster hunts brings a teleport as a means of emergencies anyways -If you had the read the first post you'd see that OP was hunting Tormented Demons, a multi-combat area -Players have precedence over monsters in a single combat situation -It is MUCH easier to kill someone in P2P than in F2P That being said, I still stand by my point that you can't compare P2P with F2P. They're completely different. P.S.: Adamant mining is awful money and exp and so are moss giants.

Get bigger or go train somewhere else....? Anyhow, I realize how annoying this can be, but I'll let you in to my little secret: PVP worlds. These are usually empty everywhere. I usually mine adamantite in BH worlds (as a bonus there's no revenants) to get my EP up, but I've also found them to be empty at moss giants in crandor (one of the most popular F2P spots). I like how you assume that P2P PVP worlds work in the same way that F2P worlds do, great assumption there. There's a huge difference between risking 10s of millions while monster hunting in P2P as compared to risking what, 150k in Rune in F2P?
  14. Based on the fact that the op has 83 attack, I would assume he would hit way more whit a crushing weapon opposed to a whip. Based on the fact that I wasn't even referring to the author, it'd be nice if you could actually read the whole situation before trying to correct me So the situation you're referring to is that you can hit waterfiends with a whip at higher levels? Fine by me. But the actual situation here is a guy with 83 attack thinking about using a whip, which would be very inaccurate compared to a crush weapon. At least how I see it. You all need to get better reading comprehension skills, I never once told OP to go whip waterfiends. I was simply correcting another person who thought that it was impossible to hit waterfiends with a whip.

  16. Since you obviously haven't been before why are you giving advice on them? I have been there and killed thousands of waterfiends -- the only experience I am lacking is not testing whip against dragon mace there. I know they have a high defence against anything that's not crush, I'm just not so sure that even a dragon mace is better than a whip there. Now, if you will please remove your head from your [wagon] on these forums, can we get on with the rest of the topic? You will almost never hit with a whip, there. If you'Re not using crush attacks, I'm not even sure you could hit them. And that's based of the great number of times when I forgot to change my whip for a ss while geting down there. And that's based on the fact that you have awful melees, so don't assume that you can't hit with them at all using a whip.
  17. Haha all my friends want me to do this. It would be really hard though, hitpoints would come long before 99 att/str/def/range. But yes, I am considering maxing all non-combat skills in one day :P Raise your strength level for an instant 10/10
  18. Uhh, Dark Beasts were exclusive prior to Kuradal's dungeon to those who have only completed MEP2 quite some time after Abyssal Demons were released. I don't see how this is any different. It's not JaGEx's responsiblity to adjust content of a skill (high level content, mind you) in order to compensate for one's lacking competency for a cape which isn't hard to obtain in the first place for those who have 93 slayer (or should I say at any level) , nor does it take as long as some claim it to be.
  19. I think lots of people are forgetting that Ice Strykwyrms are optional content and that you will never be assigned it if you don't have a Fire Cape. Very disappointed with JaGEx on their decision on this one..
  20. A couple of points: - Unicorns are NOT a waste of money, they're quite cheap for the tremendous and convenient healing they provide. In a task like wyrms which yield tremendous profit, 10-20k costs in healing is going to be the least of your worries when it optimizes your kill rate and overall exp/hour. It's not worrying about the desert effect and the max hits of the wyrms per se, rather than the lucky hits they can get on you with their 30 damage special attack. Bunyips are able to keep up in circumstances in which you are able to avoid all these attacks, but that is in an ideal situation - Going back to the Bunyip/Unicorn, obviously the Bunyip isn't able to keep up if you're using a DFS (see proselyte comment below). Either that or you're blowing up how much damage the wyrms deal (they honestly hit very low, very inaccurately) - Yes, the accuracy bonus is MUCH better than the DFS. You lose far more defence, slash accuracy AND strength bonus by using your mentioned Desert/Armour hybrid combo (which by the way is an awful idea) - If you were leaving every 25 kills, you were either doing it wrong, or you're grossly over estimating how much damage the desert effect actually does. I kill them in proselyte, a rune defender and picked up water skins appropriately when needed (didn't have to bring a single water skin with me prior to the task) and did not come close to having low HP at any time of the task I'm not bashing you, I'm simply helping OP choose which method would make the wyrm experience go smoothly as possible. I commend you for trying out a new style of killing them, but simply put it's not the most efficient and I just saw several flaws which I wanted to sift through.

Holy crap! Peroxide? That's a bit overkill don't you think? Not too mention toxic? also, to those people that think gum helps - It doesn't. I have tons of people I talk to that tthink gum is an alternative to toothbrushing in the morning [or just becaues they're breath smells regardless] and it never works. Gum only makes breath worse in my opinion. I mean, while its fresh and your chewing its fine, but the second you spit that sucker out its Halitosis-ville with you. Gum does help, provided it is the sugar-free variety which makes sure no carbohydrates are being broken down in your mouth which accompanies the ones with sugar.
  22. That's such an awful setup I don't even know where to begin. But I do have to begin somewhere so let's go.. Desert Boots - Are you serious.. Desert Skirt - See above DragonFire Shield - Should be using a defender. Hell you should be using a defender on almost every slayer task. The poor hits of the slayer monsters in general does not warrant the extra defence and a strength bonus which is nearly negligible. Knife - Waste of time seeing as how they drop waterskins and even then a bunyip would provide enough healing provided you don't suck Everything else seems fine.. or so it would seem. Only personal changes for me would be a Unicorn instead of a bunyip.
