  1. There will be a point where the price of dragon bones is too unreasonable you can say for players to pay, and that's when the price declines. What you've described has already been happening for years, and there hasn't been any major fluctuation from the 4-5k price range. What you've not factored in however, is hoarders. There's more dragon bones in the market out there than you think. So in short no, dragon bones will never continue to rise and rise and rise without falling. The price of the bones will always remain under the price of the better bones that can be offered, Ourg and Dagannoth.
  2. The exp gained from the 400 points reward is static, independent of any levels.
  3. Updated first post for April 29-2010 update.

  5. Use max mage when actually bursting them, so that means you would be using an Ahrim Hood or Farseer Helm (equivalent mage attack but Farseer has no degrade cost) and a God Cape (Sara, Guth, Zammy). Use proselyte or initiate or whatever prayer boosting armour you have while luring them.
  6. They have to be at least incense burners.
  7. No, although Jagex dictates F2P and P2P as both separate FULL games, that doesn't mean their main incentive is to make money. They are business, that is what they strive to do. There is absolutely no purpose in giving F2P more bank space than they need as that would cost them potential profit. They severely limit bank spaces as one of many ways to entice free players to get membership, not because F2Pers don't have many items to use. We don't. It's moreso when free players feel obligated (case in point, look above) to get updates just because they play. The ad revenue generated by free players isn't substantial at all either. That makes zero sense whatsoever. Quantity =/= Quality. Agreed.
  8. I don't want to be cheap but I hope there's another bonus weekend, I have charms for 96 summon but if it comes around then I could just get 99 summon for the same cost =P~
  9. The blast furnace is located in Keldagrim, a members area so that idea is already off. 100 spaces would be nearly a 60% increase in bank space from the current amount, and as I said: Why? Increased bank space is a MEMBERS benefit. Firstly, it is a very good reason. The whole purpose of limiting non-member's bank space is to give them an incentive to pay the fee to get extra bank spaces, among extra perks. As a former free player for almost 4 years, I was content with the even less bank slots I dealt with and found it was completely satisfactory. FURTHERMORE, it COSTS Jagex money to give each free player MORE bank spaces than they already have given them, and I already said that they were given increased bank spaces ALREADY. Second, I really don't see how that's being stereotypical at all. You don't pay a single cent, that's a bottom line. Thus, it's up to Jagex's discretion whether to give you bank spaces or not. That's the bottom line.
  10. Robbing banks, prostitution, they all make money, but are fairly immoral to most. your friend sounds uncomfortable with it, just tell him to not do it. You are comparing robbing banks to making money off people's impatience on Runescape. Good one.
  11. Bank space is a benefit of being a members. An increase of bank space was already given to F2Pers, so don't say it's not fair because you don't pay a single cent.
  12. I do them with Unicorn and use like 20 scrolls a task. They hardly hit really, so you'd be fine tanking them with bunyip and dragonhide.

    RIP OLD SCHOOL

if 'all you see' is people clamoring to be noted as 'old school' - then clearly quite a crowd care about the relevance of such labels logic - urdoinitwrong Frankly, I don't give a crap about either one of you. Opinions are opinions, but respect must be given to the old-school because they paved the way for today's generation. The very thing that angers me most is a young kid who is disrespecting his grandparents, when they at one time taught that child how to walk, how to dance, etc. Would you like your kid that once respected you to suddenly go against everything you stood for? I qualify as old-school, I'm not showing off how long I've been playing. This 'I don't give a crap' attitude is what's running this game to the ground. I give out my support for Jagex for all the hard work they've done and I respect the veterans who have stuck with the game for many years. I play on a casual note and all I'm seeing here on Rune Tip It is hardcore, brash, stuck up young adults who have nothing better to do than to simply throw away any opposing opinion. Here's my piece of advice: Learn to respect who you are. Why should I be bothered by the way I go about things? Why does it matter? I don't give a [cabbage] for how long you've been playing or how long I've been playing. It's a god damn MMORPG on the internet, who gives a damn.
  14. You actually get the lowest price for the item split between the people in your team, but the item gets put on the exchange for medium price. This is a common misconception I found a lot of people believed.
  15. Dell Monti is located on Musa Point/Brimhaven (the same island where you can take a cart to Shilo for some gp and where the entrance to Brimhaven dungeon is). Dell Monti is located in front of the pirate house, you'll see him there as his movements are usually static to that point. Be sure to bring your karamja gloves, and the pineapples are given to you noted.
  16. It's semi-fast mage experience and you get some charms out of it, and it's not too expensive. Around 10 gp/xp last time I checked and it gets even better at barrage, so it's alright-ish.
  17. Honestly, I wasn't sure before but now I'm convinced that you're nothing more than a crap troll trying to get attention. You ignore anything that directly refutes your arguments and then twist everybody elses' points around before responding to the argument you yourself distorted. You're quick to flame, but slow to actually present anything resembling a coherent argument. You've basically gone around insulting everybody in this post who disagrees with you despite the fact that you lack anything resembling knowledge about RS. I'd say that I'm done arguing with you, but you haven't really done any arguing; instead you've just jumped around the issue and tossed in an insult whenever you could squeeze one in. Oh Ithykins >:3 I mean.. Doctor Doom. Yes, yes I agree
  18. I disagree. (Well at least with your overloads-are-only-useful-in-one-situation part) As currently one of the fastest methods of training herblore, you get tons of these as by-products (although some people actively go out and make them) of the skill. I've seen people start using them for powerslaying, castle wars and as you said boss fighting. They're just not limited to boss fighting exclusively though, just putting that out there.
  19. I normally have an RS background as well, most of them are actually rather well drawn. ~Dan wkw got pwned :) I can already see you aren't fit for this community for two reasons: 1. "pwned" 2. Disrespecting an old member. Considering you just joined yesterday, you should learn your place. Who cares if they're an older member. I signed up in 2004, does that mean you should bow down to me?
