Just because Muggi's guide was the most used at that time doesn't mean it can still apply at this specific time. He hasn't updated his guide ever since the diagonal monster movement so we really can't be sure that his guide works the best. Italy rock is pretty much obsolete as even half of the monster you don't block will be lethal. Get a higher defence level, use steel skin, bring more defence bonuses, kill the 90 as fast as possible. Those are the only answers I can give to you.

The Dragon two hander is mostly used for looks, or for people trying to find a unique weapon. If you're going for looks, go for it. For performance, I would highly recommend a Dragon Scimitar (100k), or an Abyssal Whip (1.4-1.6M).
