  1. OH MY GOD YOUR SIGNATURE IS THE GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN.
  2. It just depends on how you answer. As honest as you might be, you may end up answering one question or another differently, especially in a version of the test that isn't yes/no, because you thought of a question differently or something, or you remember doing something recently that fits a different answer. Or, assuming most of us are mid/late teens to early 20s, we've been taking the test throughout our development  The first time I took it, I was 14-16 or so and INTJ. I can definitely say I've changed since the early teens
  3. I tried re-mapping Mass Effect 2 to have similar keys to ME1, and the end result was that I could pop my head out of cover, but couldn't shoot.
  4. Was INFP at the last one, I doubt my personality changed dramatically since ~Last year
  5. Transitioning between games where the controls are just similar enough that muscle memory gets you killed more often than not.
  6. This. Especially since these are usually editorials, the author has to be sure that their thoughts come across clearly and in a way that is easy to understand.
  7. Not dissing anime. I just don't like waiting a week for a TV episode. Having to wait months for the next season. Damn you Clash of Kings!! *Shakes fist at monitor*
  8. Nope. It means that you understand that there is nothing to understand.
  9. I'm pretty sure his 'rock falls, everyone dies' attack also does a tiny bit of damage to him.
  10. I can't fry an egg, but I can make pizza from scratch or cook a package of dry pasta. It depends on what you bothered to learn

There are also posts in the Zombie Survival thread from yesterday (Including by Res)
  12. This isn't the thread for this.
  13. I've heard that you can, but they may have fixed it. You can get a penance horn for double EXP in both agility and mining though. That might help a bit.
  14. ALG POST AND RUN TIME! @ inter-religious marriages: It probably depends on how tolerant the individuals are. My mother's a (more or less) Catholic democrat and my father is either very cynical or an atheist, and a republican, and they get along fairly well. Of course, we as a family aren't particularly religious to begin with, and politics doesn't come up frequently, so that might help. (Language) http://www.cracked.com/article_19474_4-idiots-who-show-up-wherever-religion-discussed-online.html DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! *zooms off in a speedboat*
  15. Yes, but he's just... Smug. Like a hipster who namedrops a band that you've never heard of. It's the worst kind of nonchalance, the kind where other people getting mad at him seems to make his penis larger. Which happens often because of the aforementioned one-sidedness and manipulative editing. It's a vicious cycle, and the only losers are the people that agreed with his message before he alienated everyone who could have agreed.

Was aimed at the chemistry versus physics thing that seemed to be going on.

i find that gaining materials can get tedious after a while, i love building stuff and moderatly enjoy exploring :P Both + terraforming. Quite fun, until 1.9 decided I should be in a cold biome and my rivers and waterfalls froze

$50-100 where I live. For TI-84s at least, which are required by several classes. Are we talking about scientific or graphing calculators? If it's the latter, I never see them for less than $140
  19. Alg replied to stevepole's topic in Falador Tavern
You can get scientific calculators for between $10-20 pretty much anywhere, and they last a long time.
  20. As I've grown tired of random/irrelevant references to religions in fiction, but authors aren't going to stop adding them
  21. Everytime I disagree with him I watch this and love him again. I think he's probably the worst spokesperson for left-leaning politics that you can get. He's a (Scientific term) douchebag who uses manipulative editing to prove his point and doesn't take the other side seriously, regardless of what they're saying. I've watched a few of his documentaries, and he uses ridicule more than actually proving why the other side is wrong (EX: Sicko- Setting a Reagan speech to the Imperial March rather than stating why Reagan is wrong with facts and/or evidence.
  22. Wasn't trying to debate it, just clearing up some things about it. Whether they're true or not, they affect our culture, especially the Abrahamic religions here in the Western hemisphere. You can appreciate all kinds of fiction a lot more if you know when an author's bringing in a reference or symbol from a religion or a legend. </IBstudent> It would be like going into a fantasy medium without knowing Tolkien. You don't have to have read or liked it, but it helps to have a basic knowledge of it, because it's going to show up a lot. That said, I did find Croce's delivery a bit heavy handed

    Two different sciences  Biology!
  24. But it does entitle him to whatever rights that American citizens have in this case, such as the right to a trial. A right every person should have, not just citizens of a specific country :P Well, wars happen  It seems to be the fact that he was an American citizen killed by the American military that makes it an issue. But again, wars tend to break rules like that. [insert cliche stating "war is bad" in a particularly eloquent way]
